Modern hotel with classic, large, cleaned and well-furnished rooms, for a really 4 star level! Near to the town center in a strategic very silent position, for a really comfort stay, in a so expensive little village. Good and large breakfast, very kind staff, quality/price ratio is no doubt higher than other hotel nearby, you can leave your car for free just in front of the hotel.

Wow! I came here to lodge my disappointment but am astonished to see the same behaviour has been meted out to people since 2019 and nothing has changed. Well, the waiters were quite decent but the lady at the counter probably had the same reason for not to smile or behave professionally to customers. I won't go into details here but will only hope they improve their customer interaction in this day when heritage establishments are struggling hard to maintain their clientele and ”good” image. I have noted someone from the establishment kindly reads the reviews here. So, they can contact me for exact date/time in case it is not clear who this person is. I only hope their reputation is not spoiled due to this while their product (the cake, Black Forest cake) was the best we had had during our trip. Best wishes.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und absolut sauber. Das Bett war groß (2x2m) und die Matratzen und Kissen sehr bequem. Das Hotel liegt im Ort, oben am Berg, sehr ruhig gelegen. Zu Fuß kann man gut in den Ort laufen (ca. 10Minuten) und man ist mitten im Geschehen. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, es ist von allem für jeden etwas da.

Essen und Zimmer waren gut - deshalb sicher auch die vielen Gäste. Ich hörte mal im Vorbeigehen an der Rezeption: ”Ausgebucht”. Die Zimmerausstattung war nicht ganz zufriedenstellend - vor allem im Bad besteht Handlungsbedarf. Die Duschkabine ließ sich nur mit Trick schließen - alle Elemente so gegeneinanderdrücken, daß die Mitnehmer-Nut wenigstens in der Mitte einrastet.... Der große Spiegel mit dem integrierten Kosmetikspiegel hat nur einen Fehler: Er ist zu hoch angebracht, sodaß der ”Kleine” selbst von mir (1,70 m groß) nicht genutzt werden konnte..... Gute Idee, nicht gut umgesetzt. Vielleicht geht der Hersteller von am Boden aufgestellten Spiegeln aus???

Das Frühstück war großartig, nicht weniger als ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel. Unabhängig davon, ob die Umgebung erstklassig ist, sind auch die internen Einrichtungen sehr charakteristisch, insbesondere viele Details sind sehr warm und fühlen sich wie zu Hause. Der Manager an der Rezeption war der netteste deutsche Herr, den ich auf dem Weg gesehen habe, und hat einen tiefen Eindruck auf uns hinterlassen. Dies ist der befriedigendste Stopp der Reise, also hat es einen anderen Tag.

Eine Gastfamilie in der Stadt Schenwald bei Triberg. Die Stadt ist ruhig und wunderschön. Der Onkel ist sehr einladend. Das Zimmer hat einen Balkon. Es ist sehr bequem, nachts Bier zu trinken und zu plaudern. Das Dreibettzimmer mit einem durchschnittlichen Frühstückspreis von 1000 ist sehr kostengünstig, dh es gibt nicht viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Es gibt nur ein deutsches Restaurant, ein italienisches Restaurant und das deutsche Restaurant ist montags geschlossen. Dienstags gibt es keinen Platz. . Das Betreten des italienischen Restaurants sollte ein Aktivitätsparadies für die Einheimischen sein. Es gibt eine Schaukel-Wippe. Machen Sie nach dem Abendessen einen Spaziergang und die Kinder spielen gut.
