Wir haben schon früh gebucht und unser Zimmer war absolut genial. Riesen gross, toll modern eingerichtet mit super Terasse und Sicht auf den Garten. Bereits beim Ankommen an der Rezeption wird man super freundlich empfangen, danach mit Buggy kleine Tour der Hotelanlage. Sowohl Pool-Restaurant als auch das Top-Restaurant oberhalb waren ausgezeichnet. Service sehr nett und effizient. Der Garten und die Aussicht sind unglaublich. Schade war etwas, dass die Pools viel zu kaltes Wasser haben. Mit dem doch oftmals herrschenden Wind an der Algarve hat man dann gleich kalt. Tennis, Fussball... alles wir geboten Frühstücksbuffet super!

Das Vila Vita Parc Resort liegt innerhalb eines 54 Quadratmeter grossen Anwesens mit künstlichen Teichen, üppigen Gärten und Zugang zum öffentlichen Strandbereich. Die Zimmer und Suiten verteilen sich über mehrere Gebäude. Das mir zugeteilte Deluxe Zimmer bot auf 40 Quadratmetern ein King-Size Bett, zusammengestellt aus zwei Einzelbetten, eine Sitzecke, einen Schreibtisch, einen Flachbildfernseher, eine Nespresso Kaffeemaschine, einen grossen Kleiderschrank und ein mit Keramikfliesen gefliestes Bad mit Waschbecken, Regendusche, Bidet und Toilette. Bei gebuchter Halbpension kann man kostenlos in den fünf Standard- bzw. Hauptrestaurants dinieren. Für die Spezialitäten- und Michelin-Sterne Restaurants zahlt man nochmals pro Abend 60 EUR auf oder man bekommt einen Credit eingeräumt. Das Frühstücksbuffet für Erwachsene im Oceania Restaurant lässt keine Wünsche offen und ist im Hinblick auf die Buffetauswahl und das Angebot an kostenlosen a la carte Gerichten sehr umfangreich. Die Poollandschaften und Liegemöglichkeiten sind ausreichend groß gestaltet. Die kleine öffentliche Badebucht unterhalb des Hotels war während unseres Besuch leider mit derart viel Seetang bedeckt, dass auf Grund des Gestanks und der Menge ein Baden und Sonnen nicht wirklich möglich war. Dafür bietet das Resort einen Shuttlebus zu einem ca. 10 Minuten Fahrzeit entfernten öffentlichen Sandstrand, der mehrere Kilometer lang ist. Alles in allem eine sehr schönes Resort und eine umfangreiche und ausgezeichnete Frühstücksauswahl.

Upon arrival we were graciously hosted by the female member of staff at reception who generously arranged for our accommodation to be ready early than normal, Whilst we waited we went to the restaurant and had a nice meal before the waiter then told us it was ready. We were thrilled with the spacious 3 bed apartment were given and I could have cried with delight when I saw we had a dishwasher. There are a few restaurants in the local area but within a 10 minute walk there is a supermarket that will equip you for a full self-catering holiday. The pool was never too busy and the beaches are close enough (but be aware that a 15 minute walk feels a lot longer in 30degree heat!). The only thing I found slightly frustrating is that the cleaners don't seem to be able to come in unless you are there, I found it a bit awkward and would rather have not been around as I felt obliged to tidy/assist. But, I note that this isn't a hotel and acknowledge that it's fantastic that this service was available at all. As a family of 5 (3 teenagers) we would have liked to have been a bit closer to the main town but appreciate that if you would like a quiet site you can't have it all. Overall we were really happy with our apartment/site/location but wouldn't return as we would rather be closer to the main facilities but that's our personal preference and not a slight on this place. As 3 star accommodation goes you really can't go wrong.

I honestly don't really have anything negative to say about Ukino Palmeiras. The rooms and hotel in general was absolutely spotless. Room cleaned/towels changed every day and all staff were friendly. The food choice was actually a little bit overwhelming as there was just so much and to suit differing tastes. Healthy options are also available with lots of fresh fruit. The caramel ice cream was a particular favourite of mine and the beef they served was really delicious. The hotel is 10 minutes walking distance of three beaches, one of which is located through a cave which my 5 year old thought was amazing. The pools are chilly but that was welcome considering it was so hot during our visit. We hired a car and visited Albufeira, Silves and the surrounding area and we've just fallen in love with Portugal. We took the land train to the local village/town and the beach there is huge with lots of amenities and cafes and such. We took a boat trip to see the caves and it was absolutely stunning. Would absolutely recommend the area and the hotel. The only criticism I have is that the drinking glasses could be larger so that you don't need to go backwards and forwards so often and that I'd suggest having lockers in the pool area so that people can lock up valuables. My husband and I had to take turns in sitting with our stuff and playing with our kids in the pool. Overall, a really wonderful holiday.
