Ich war mit meiner Familie hier. Es ist ein wirklich ruhiger und sauberer Ort, die Zimmer sind ordentlich und geräumig, alles ist sorgfältig vorbereitet. Es ist ein großer Vorteil, dass man den Taksim-Platz, Märkte, Geschäfte und andere Orte zu Fuß erreichen kann. Ich würde auf jeden Fall ein Hotel empfehlen, das sowohl komfortabel als auch zentral ist und Annehmlichkeiten direkt nebenan bietet.

We go to Istanbul regularly for work, this year for the fourth time. We always look for accommodation near our favourite restaurant New Hatay, which is our base for every visit to Istanbul. So we were very happy when we were able to book the Sapphire Hotel, which has such good reviews and is only 40m from our restaurant. Unfortunately, our trip did not start well. At Sabiha Gökçen airport, the taxi driver of a small Fiat explained to us that the best way to go was through the Avrasya tunnel. He dropped us off in the street above the hotel and claimed that the tunnel toll was 246 TRY and the total fare was thus 665 TRY. That's about double what we normally pay. The receptionist at the hotel, told us that the 665 TRY figure was normal, which was surprising given the fact that we had booked a Mercedes back to the airport and the fare was 600 TRY. Taxis in general are a big problem at the hotel - the front desk repeatedly refused to order us a taxi - once saying that the taxi would arrive in an hour or so, the second time saying that they can't order a taxi several hours in advance and if we want one, we have to return to the hotel an hour before the requested arrival time and then the front desk can order a taxi for us. However, the receptionist was unable to explain to us why he could not order the taxi an hour in advance himself, why we had to return to the hotel for this. We were eventually helped by the restaurant staff where they ordered the taxi ahead without any problems and then arranged the aforementioned Mercedes for us on our last day at the airport. The hotel itself is very nice, but the standard room is so miniature that you don't even have a basic space on the toilet to perform all your needs. As well, there is a space of about 10 cm around the bed that doesn't allow you to lie on the bed in the normal way, you have to get on it from the headboard. The soundproofing is disastrous, every time someone flushes the toilet in the room above you can hear the water running so intensely that you feel like you are going to get hit, at night the noise wakes you up every time. There is a fridge in the room but no water bottle. The first time the reception generously gave it to us for free, the second time the receptionist sent me to the basement restaurant at night to get water, where luckily there were two employees already on their way out and they sold me two pint bottles for 10 TRY. I only wanted one, but the gentleman didn't have the change for 10 TRY, so he gave me two. There are two small lifts in the hotel. When we called, the elevator was always full of other guests, plus it was going in the opposite direction to us, so we waited several minutes each time. Breakfast was relatively plentiful in choice but the quality of food and drink was terrible. There is WiFi in the hotel which works perfectly everywhere, except in the underground restaurant where there is no WiFi at all. There are two lovely, large lounges on the ground floor near

Loved this hotel! Its very modern and glam! Very clean! Lovely staff - very friendly anytime of the day or night. Cleaning staff were friendly too. Lovely views from restaurant and great food too, lots of options for breakfast! Its close by to shops, restaurants, the metro and mosques! Everything was easily accessible. Very safe too. The reason I stayed at this hotel was because of its spa facility, the ladies are amazing, the hammam is soo worth it! Cons - and these might seem tedious to some but its just stuff that caught my eye / nose. - There was a smell coming from bathroom - maybe the drain system? - One of the hand towels in the bathroom had a mark on it. - I called ahead of check in to make sure I had a double bed, I was told it would be a king size (perfect) when i got there it was 2 large singles and the guy pushed it together 🙄 just meant that i could only sleep on one side because of the split in the middle. Would i stay here again? Yes of course - service was really good, hotel is really nice, food was good, i would just specify again what I want for when i get there.

Unfortunately the very rude staff way outnumbered the few helpful staff. After a transfer from hospital dropping us off 2 hours early for check in the staff at the front of house advised us that they would do their best to get us in early. When a room became available we would get it. Then when a room became available the young man was going to give us it when another staff member said no that he was to give it to the Turkish couple that had just come in. Thankfully the young man stood his ground and we were shown to the room. Room service was none existent, you use a QR code to place an order then you wait and you wait nothing arrives. You then have to go down to order the food anyway. This happened on every occasion we used room service. We got so fed up trying to use the service we gave up. There were 2 comfortable seating areas the rest were metal tables and chairs that just were not comfortable and frankly did not feel safe. The comfortable seating areas were reserved every day for staff and family. On one occasion that they were not reserved we sat down. When 3 very rude members of staff came to put new cushions on then promptly tried to move us and reserve the seating. We choose to ignore them and sat back down, they placed the reserved plaque on the table in front of us. The cleaning staff were the only thing that the hotel has going for it. Very friendly and very helpful they could not have been nicer and very efficient.

Mein Freund und ich waren für ein paar Tage in Istanbul und wir beschlossen, im Byotell zu bleiben. Wir beide hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und waren nicht nur mit dem Hotel sehr beeindruckt, sondern das Personal war über unseren Aufenthalt sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber, modern und gut gepflegt, und die Betten waren sehr komfortabel. Ich verstehe wirklich nicht, was die negativen Bewertungen zu behandeln sind! Wird es nicht 5* Ferienwohnung (5* wie Sie wissen), sondern für £35 pro Nacht (£42 mit Frühstück), was erwarten die Menschen wirklich? Wenn rein Luxus ist, was man sucht, dann sollten andere in den Hunderten gepreiste Hotels berücksichtigt werden, um Enttäuschung zu vermeiden. Der Preis unseres Aufenthalts umfasste die vollständige Nutzung des Spa (Gymnasium, Jacuzzi, Dampfraum, Sauna, großes Schwimmbad usw.); Frühstück; Toiletten in unserem Zimmer; eine Flasche Wasser und kostenloses WLAN. (Der Pool war überhaupt nicht kalt, wie jemand in einer früheren Bewertung vorgeschlagen hat). Im Hinblick auf das Frühstück gab es eine so große Vielfalt verfügbar (über 12 verschiedene Brot und Pflaumen, eine Vielzahl von heißen und kalten Lebensmitteln, plus endlose Mengen an Obst). Insgesamt empfehle ich dieses Hotel sehr.

Mega nettes Personal, sauberes Hotel mit leckerem, vierfältigem Frühstück. Alles wird einem gerecht gemacht. Auf so gut wie alle Wünsche werden eingegangen, mindestens versucht einzugehen. Herr Şükrü ist sehr sympathisch und kann auch viel organisieren, geht ebenfalls auf Wünsche ein. Frau Fatoş und Frau Sedef sind ebenfalls mega nett und gesprächig. Man kann viel erfragen bzgl. der Stadt und dem Einkauf (Shoppingmeilen etc.). Das Hotel ist sehr zentral. Man hat sehr gute Verbindungen mit der Tram. Die Tramstation ”Gülhane” ist nichtmal 2 Minuten entfernt vom Hotel. Zur Hagia Sofia Moschee und zum Sultan Ahmet Platz dauern es zu Fuß nichtmal 10 Minuten. Also kommt man überall sehr schnell und gut hin! :) Trotz der Pandemie haben sie und einen sehr angenehmen und bendenklosen Aufenthalt ermöglicht. Auf die Hygiene wird hier ebenfalls sehr geachtet. Preis - Leistung ist Top! Kommen hier seit Jahren mind. einmal im Jahr hin. Freuen uns auf das nächste Mal!

Die Pros das Personal war schön. Es hat Punkte und persönliches Lesen Licht für jedes Bett. Die Lage ist großartig. Der Preis ist gut. Die Locker sind ”Bringt Ihr eigenes Locker”, aber einige der Locker wurden gebrochen. Die Locker Es gab eine Bewertung von vor 4 Monaten, die zeigte das Zimmer in ziemlich guter Zustand, aber ich war überrascht zu finden, wie schlimm es seit (März 2023) verschlechtert hatte. Das Zimmer war in einem schrecklichen Reparaturzustand. Die Reinigungsmittel waren eindeutig nicht umgekommen und die Betten von früheren Gästen, die sich geprüft hatten, waren nicht gereinigt, die nächsten Gäste wurden neue Handtücher und Blätter gegeben und das ist es. Der Rest des Zimmers und der Toiletten ist nicht gereinigt. Es gab keine Lichtblasen im Zimmer (siehe meine Fotos), so war es schwarz, außer für die Bettbeleuchtung. Das Badezimmer war unglaublich präsent und die Duschepaneele sind so ausgegangen, dass überall Wasser überschwemmt, wenn duschen. Wäscherei mit den 4 Betten, aber auch mehreren privaten Zimmern, so vielleicht 8 Personen mit einem einzigen Toilette pro Stock, können keine anderen Toiletten in anderen Stockwerken außer der Terrasse zugreifen. Die Küche war unter Bau. Es gab einen älteren Mann in den 70er Jahren im Schlafzimmer, so nicht wirklich eine Hostel Vibe. Das bunke Bett war schüchtern, jede Bewegung kann von der bunke-Mathematik fühlen.

Absolutely everything was perfect. A few hours after arrival our room was upgraded to the bigger one without any additional cost - absolutely unheard of in other hotels elsewhere. The room was extremely clean, bed and pillows very comfortable and absolutely amazing breakfasts with a big variety of food to choose from. Every member of staff was very friendly and helpful - we felt as a member of their extended family since stepping into that fantastic hotel. Majority of bigger and much more expensive hotels should learn from that little gem how to provide such as excellent service. The location is very handy because all major attractions are within 15 minutes walk. I'll recommend that hotel to absolutely everybody coming to Istanbul.

Pros: - sehr nahe der Hagia Sofia und der Blue Moschee. - Sie haben einen schönen Blick auf die Blue Moschee von der Terrasse, ich kann mir vorstellen, es wäre schön, dort zu sitzen und im Sommer Frühstück zu essen. -rein Handtücher und Bettwäsche - Das Haus war super freundlich und bereit, zu helfen und vor dem Haus war auch wirklich willkommen. -Nahe der Straßenbahn und U-Bahn-Linien -24 Stunden Shop buchstäblich 1 Minute Spaziergang - Vorderseite des Hauses sind 24 Stunden am Tag Cons: - wir waren auf dem Boden und es war ziemlich laut in der Nacht, als einige Gäste von der Nacht aus waren zurückgekommen - ziemlich laut von Frühverkehr, da das Hotel auf einer Straße liegt - sehr kleine Zimmer - kleine Dusche - Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht - Frühstück war nur minimal so nicht viel erwarten (kein Brot nur Baguetten geschnitzt zu Toast und essen wie Sie wollen, Standard Salate und Getreide) Wenn ich auf einem Budget war, würde ich dieses Hotel noch einmal reservieren, weil es in der Nähe von allen Orten, wo wir hingehen mussten und wir überhaupt nicht viel Zeit im Hotel verbringen. Für £30 pro Nacht war es ein Verkauf!

Das Hotel ist wunderschön eingerichtet und der Service ist warm. Es gibt schöne Erfrischungen zur Begrüßung und die blaue Moschee 🕌️ ist auf der Frühstücksterrasse zu sehen. Beim Auschecken wurde auch Apfeltee verschenkt. Ist eine gute Wahl für Reisen.
