The mighty Block 3 of the former KdF facility Prora stretches directly behind the dunes of what is probably the most beautiful Baltic Sea beach. Nowhere is the beach as close as in Prora. Here you will find the lovingly renovated holiday home "Haus Granitz" in the middle of the block. The bright and child-friendly apartment "Heimathafen" has 65 m² of living space and can accommodate up to 4 people. From the two bedrooms, the living room and from the balcony there is a wonderful view towards the Baltic Sea and the protective pine forest.The apartment is easily accessible by elevator. The living area is open plan and offers access to the balcony. In the "good room" you will find a comfortable couch, flat screen TV, DVD player, music system and WiFi. In the kitchen area you will find an oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, spacious refrigerator with freezer, a coffee machine, kettle, toaster and extensive kitchen inventory including children's dishes. The large dining table comfortably seats 4 people. The apartment also has a high chair for toddlers.The large bedroom welcomes you with a double bed, a flat-screen TV and a spacious wardrobe. The beds in the second bedroom are separate. Storage space offers two chests of drawers and pull-outs under the beds. Here our little guests will also find a small selection of children's toys and reading books. A foldable baby bed with mattress can also be set up and is provided free of charge. In both bedrooms, blackout pleated blinds and fly screens ensure a good night's sleep.In the apartment's own storage room, our guests can use a washing machine free of charge. There is also space for strollers or suitcases during your stay.Through the in-house beach access you can reach the beach in about 2-3 minutes. A baker is right in the house and provides fresh rolls every day. There is a parking space near the house. Prora continues to develop architecturally. The area is being renovated stylishly and carefully. This can lead to negative effects from construction vehicles and construction noise. We therefore grant a 10% discount on the rental price. This covers any claims arising from a defect caused by the construction sites. The discount is already taken into account in the rental price.Bed linen and towels have to be booked for a fee if required. Please contact us by email. In Binz there is also the train station, from which you can travel in all directions. Waren jetzt schon das 4 mal hier, und es ist immer wieder sehr schön. Aber die Matratze im Großen Schlafzimmer im unserem Apartment müsste unbedingt ausgetauscht werden, da sie sehr durchgelegen ist. Ansonsten war Alles perfekt wie immer. Nächstes Jahr sind wir definitiv wieder dort👍

Great modern and stylish house. We had rooms in the S category. Totally adequate for 2 people and well equipped. Kitchenette and couch and rain shower as well as balcony with seating made it perfect. Pool and sauna fantastic. Prora natural beach right out

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Es gibt pickup service von Bahnhof zu hotel ohne vorher reservieren. Alle Service Leute sind sehr nett. Hotel Zimmer war sauber und praktisch. Teller, Besteck, Topf und Pfanne sind alle da. Auch Mikrowelle. Der Therme Bad ist top, richtige salzig Wasser. Wir haben auch den Fitness gut benutzt. Ich kann vorstellen noch mal zu kommen. Der Frühstück hat 24 Euro gekostet, auch mein 12 Jährige Tochter. Es war ok, nicht übertroffen für diese Preise nevau aber auch nciht schlecht. Fehlt mir Luchs.

Ich Reise sehr viel, bin weltweit ca 150 Tage in Hotels . Von einem 5 Sterne Hotel hatte ich mehr erwartet . Positiv: die Lage direkt am Strand, Frühstück perfekt, Personal 1a . Nicht gefallen hat mir die Ausstattung der Zimmer : Einrichtung ok , elektrische Einrichtung veraltert (stand wie vor 20 Jahren ) Bad ok aber für 5 Sterne nichts besonderes, bed …. Na ja …. Man kann die Federn spüren . Kissen und Decke schon gewöhnungsbedürftig , Fahrstuhl defekt …..,., alles im allem würde ich sagen : 3 Sterne + aber mehr nicht . Es war kein Fehler dies Hotel zu buchen ( bei schönem Wetter 😉)

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've been in. The location of the hotel really captures the ocean and atmosphere of a small beach town. I went in the winter time so not many travelers and it felt like i was in a book. The breakfast could be much better but otherwise cant complain about much else. The bed is super comfortable as well.

My 4th trip to Binz, decided to stay here this time. Excellent location. 10-15mins walk from Binz HBF. 5-8mins walk to the beach. Very clean hotel. Towels were changed daily unless requested otherwise. Bedsheet will not be changed as standard of Europe. Very friendly staff. This area they work on minimal staff but they do not compromise or affect standards. Buffet breakfast was good too. Only minor feedback, as it was summer it was rather warm at the breakfast area and I would probably like to have the cold cut selection placed in a cold base instead of just leaving at the counter.

Thank you for welcome notice and wine bottle, fruits and chocolate; There are all things what we need to stay; I love the clear instructions information folder included how to keep house clean; the sauna we won’t use, don’t know why it doesn’t work, but it is not big issue for me; to pick up the house key in another hotel is a bit trouble, if you don’t have a car, maybe because it is a low season, and the reception is not in house. The location is good. Over all we have a good stay, thank you.

Bewertung: 4 von 5 Sternen. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel insgesamt genossen. Die Lage ist sehr gut – zentral und praktisch gelegen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, modern eingerichtet und sehr bequem. Leider waren die Kissen für meinen Geschmack zu groß und hart, und die Decken etwas schmal – hier gibt es noch Verbesserungspotenzial. Das Bett selbst war jedoch sehr gut. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und insgesamt völlig in Ordnung. Es gab eine große Auswahl an Wurst, Käse, Müsli und Obst – allerdings kaum Gemüse. Ich persönlich hätte mir eine kleine Salatbar mit Salatgurken, frischem Blattsalat und etwas mehr Auswahl an Gemüse gewünscht. Das hätte das Frühstück für mich deutlich aufgewertet. Der Service war höflich, aber recht unpersönlich und distanziert. Hier wäre ein bisschen mehr Herzlichkeit im Umgang mit den Gästen wünschenswert. Der Spa- und Wellnessbereich hat mir gut gefallen. Die Sauna ist wunderschön und auch der Pool ist angenehm. Der Umkleidebereich ist funktional, aber es fehlt an Ablagemöglichkeiten und Sitzgelegenheiten . Trotz kleiner Schwächen ist es ein schönes Hotel, das ich weiterempfehlen kann.

Bei der Ankunft gab es Probleme mit der Buchung diese wurden aber problemlos behoben. Leider haben wir während des gesamten Aufenthalts keine einzige Reinigung für unser Zimmer erhalten. Geschweige denn Toilettenpapier nachfüllung oder Mülleimer Leerung. Betten sind sehr unbequem und hart. Essen war vielfältig und reichhaltig.
