Read the reviews before hand and was really worried about staying here, but turns out it’s not as it seems, it was actually a very pleasant stay, I personally didn’t experience any trouble like theft or rudeness if anything the staff were really kind and attentive. I honestly would stay again and I can only assume that the cleaners may be the issue in theft as the actually staff and owners were nice.

Ich reise die Welt oft und dieses Hotel ist dort oben. am Tag vor Ihrer Ankunft erhalten Sie eine WhatsApp bereit, Sie auf alles auf dem neuesten Stand zu bringen, was Sie brauchen von PIN-Codes, WiFi und Transfer-Optionen. Das Zimmer ist sauber und modern und hat wirklich über alle kleinen Dinge wie Zahnbürsten, Flasche Wasser und Wein im Kühlschrank für Kleider und Luxus-Linen und Zubehör gedacht. Lage ist sensationell und Minen vom Hafen und Flughafen. Ich kann dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen genug. Wir wurden heute Morgen von den wunderschönsten Rezeptoren und verriegelbaren Einheiten für unsere Taschen begrüßt. Wir werden sicher zurück sein. Super beeindruckt.

We have recently returned from the most fantastic holiday ever in the Rivendell Apartments in Corfu. The complex is small and intimate with 13 well equipped and spotless apartments all with a balcony. Our apartment overlooked a lovely pool which was never too busy to relax by and have an enjoyable swim. The location is perfect, set in a beautiful mountainous area of Corfu but only approximately 15km from Corfu Town and 16km from the airport. While a number of guests had cars for exploring, we chose not to as there is a bus stop only 100m from the complex and buses providing direct links to Corfu Town, the airport and in the other direction the town and beaches of Sidari. What really made the holiday special were the owners and hosts Nick and Aglaia. Nick is clearly the most handsome and charming man in Corfu if not the whole of Greece!! Aglaia is a beautiful lady and an absolutely wonderful 5 star cook. Aglaia runs the onsite restaurant (which has received 5 google stars) and people come from far and wide to taste her food. She cooks traditional Greek dishes including meatballs, moussaka and a true speciality pastichio. My husband thought he had died and gone to heaven and compared her to Gordon Ramsey. I am not only a vegetarian but also a very fussy eater and Aglaia catered wonderfully to my requirements. I have never eaten so well in my life. For a light meal she also does a light and crispy pizza and a Greek salad to die for. A substantial breakfast is available, made with the freshest of ingredients and includes cold meats, bread, omelette, yoghurt and fresh fruits all served with her wonderful Greek coffee. You will not need to eat again until dinner time. The restaurant is extremely competitively priced for the quality of the food and cooking. We are quite simply in love with the Rivendell and especially Nick and Aglaia (not to forget their 2 lovely dogs). They cannot do enough for people. They are so hard working, so good humoured and so funny. Nick kept everyone entertained on a number of occasions playing the bouzouki and singing during dinner honouring everyone with his presence and loveliness! We so needed a relaxing holiday which we certainly had and we have also made friends for life. There is no doubt that we will be returning to the Rivendell as soon as we possibly can. We were lost and you found us, love you guys.

Leider kein IKOS Standard! Wie schon von einigen geschrieben entspricht das Odisia gar nicht dem IKOS Standard (noch nicht ?) und daher keine Empfehlung für die sogenannten IKOS „repeater“ oder für Die zum ersten Mal IKOS buchen wollen….Sie werden leider enttäuscht sein….daher besser ein anderes Ressort der Gruppe wählen! Zimmer: hier wurde der IKOS Standard minimiert, Einrichtung der Zimmer ist nicht mehr so hochwertig, viele Mängel durch den Zeitdruck des Neubau der damaligen Eröffnung, fast keine Privatsphäre da Nachbarzimmer (Deluxe mit Garten Bild anbei) zu nahe aneinander, man kann regelrecht den Nachbarn aus nächster Nähe sehen, riechen, hören! Das geht besser liebe IKOS Manager und Architekten bei der gehobenen Preisklasse!! Im Vergleich zu den anderen Resorts der Gruppe wurde unserer Meinung nach hier der Rotstift sehr stark angesetzt….leider! Service: Das Team ist sehr bemüht aber immer noch heillos überfordert mit den meisten Situationen (egal wo im ganzen Resort). Aber natürlich bestätigen einige wenige Ausnahmen die Regel da das Deluxe Pool Bar Team rund um Achilles mit Chrysa, Kiki und Chris einen Wahnsinns Job machen und alles für die Gäste tun! Auch das Oliva Restaurant unter der Leitung von Eli ist hier besonders hervorzuheben da auch bei Vollbesetzung alles perfekt lief (wir waren daher 3 mal dort Abendessen). Unserer Meinung nach fehlt im allgemeinen die Kommunikation zwischen den jeweiligen Kollegen bzw. Abteilungen welche wenn diese besser wäre, den Gästen sicher das eine oder andere Unverständnis vermeiden könnte (z.B. an 2 Tagen kein Housekeeping / Zimmer Reinigung, wenn man es vorher angekündigt hätte sicher kein Problem gewesen wäre). Kein Wunder das es beim Check in und Check out lange Wartezeiten gibt (bis zu 60 Minuten) da die Kommunikation unter den Teammitgliedern fehlt……die eigene Deluxe Rezeption (2 Tische) war während unseres Aufenthalts nur 1 mal besetzt (vielleicht nur ein Zufall..?!?) das kennen wir aus dem Aria und Dassia ganz anders! Essen und Trinken: Das Abendessen in den fast allen A la Carte Restaurants ist TOP Oliva ist der No.01 Tipp, Elia, Fresco und auch Ouzo sehr zum empfehlen alles vom Feinsten und so wie von IKOS gewohnt! Leider aber auch hier eine Ausnahme welche wie immer die Regel bestätigt….das Abendessen im Anaya (Asiatisch) können wir nicht empfehlen überhaupt nicht authentisch und schmeckte wie Tiefkühlkost…. Was uns auch gefehlt hat war das dass Frühstück überall gleich ist und auch gleich geschmeckt hat- eventuell etwas anders präsentiert wurde - und es nur im Elia ein A la Carte Frühstück gab. Auch das geht anders in den Aria, Dassia und Andalusia Resorts….warum gibt es im Odisia 4 verschiedene Frühstück Restaurants wo überall das gleiche angeboten wird?? Etwas einfallslos würde ich sagen…..s.w. auch wieder eine Sparmaßnahme auf dem Rücken des Gastes. Das Sparen geht auch munter bei den premium Getränken weiter leider auch im Deluxe Bereich. We stayed here for a week as part of an EasyJet package and could not have been more thrilled with the hotel; spacious, incredibly clean, well appointed and staffed by some of the loveliest people. We had two superior garden view rooms and the views were indeed superior! Both had balconies and very effective air conditioning (included in the cost of the room) and the beds were very comfy. Small but perfectly formed bathrooms (with showers) which looked like they had been recently refurbished. Buffet breakfast was also included and was extensive; usual continental fare plus cooked dishes and even cake and baklava! (Top tip for those who like their British cuppa - take your own tea bags and a travel mug so you can make yourself a decent brew in the morning ;-) ) Beautiful grounds, well kept and a fantastic pool (open 9am -8pm) with plenty of loungers and chairs/ tables on the terrace with a choice of shady spots to cope with the very hot weather. The pool bar, serving drinks and a decent lunch menu was very good and fairly reasonably priced (for a tourist location). But what really made the stay was the staff - so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The only slightly disappointing thing was that the restaurant no longer opens in the evenings and therefore the 'Greek night' advertised on the hotel website did not happen. It's also worth noting that Gouvia town and beach is down a *very* steep (although short) hill and across a frankly terrifying road - not so bad on the way down but a bit punishing on the way back up, especially in 37 degree heat! The town itself is quite run down and not the prettiest spot, although several very good eateries and beautiful warm sea to swim in - and seemed to be mostly catering to large groups of Scandinavian students - but this is not the fault of the hotel! Buses run to both Corfu Town and (in the other direction) to stunning Paleokastritsa very regularly, although they are often extremely busy (probably due to the cheap fares). All in all - excellent value for money, a beautiful and friendly hotel and a lovely stay!

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and the pool is an added bonus. The breakfast was very good with a variety of hot and cold options. Two things really make this hotel. The first is the family who run it and who are so helpful and hardworking. The second is its location, very close to the centre of Gouvia and only a couple of minutes walk from the bus stops from where it is easy to explore northern Corfu.

Diese kurze drei-Nacht-Reise auf der Insel Khomei ist wegen der Unannehmlichkeiten, das Baby zu tragen, so dass ich ein ganzes Paket von fünf Sternen Hotel in der Nähe des Flughafens gefunden habe, das heißt, dass die meisten von fünf Sternen tatsächlich vier Sternen sind. Zuerst Die Einrichtungen: Die Einrichtungen sind noch relativ komplett, Spa drei Restaurants, das Restaurant mit Tagesmahlzeiten, fünf Sternen, das Essen ist frisch, der Service ist sehr herzlich ❤️ Der empfohlene Rote Wein 🍷 ist ein Absoluter. Das Buffet im Hotel ist auch sehr üblich, der Sandstein ist ein halbes Niveau. Hygiene: Wir bestellen einen größeren Balkon, die Landschaft außerhalb des Fensters ist immer noch wunderschön, weil das Hotel vielleicht alt ist, der Geschmack des Badezimmers wird sich widerspiegeln, der Geschmack ist immer noch schwer, die Klimaanlage ist nicht sehr kalt, das Hotel hat das heiße Wasser auch lange wartet, Dann ist die Blume auch alt und wasserdicht. Der Zimmerservice ist nicht gut, aber jedes Mal wird 3.5 Euro geholt. Also ist es besser, ein bisschen mehr in den Kühlschrank zu setzen 😂 Umgebung: Das Hotel ist sehr groß und es gibt ein eigenes Resortzimmer, und die grüne Fläche ist auch groß. Die geografische Lage ist auch gut von der alten Stadt nahe, die Tür ist mit einem Tourbus und einem Bus im Zentrum der Stadt 1.7 Ein europäischer Mensch, der in das Stadtzentrum ist bequem zu gehen. Es gibt zwei gute Bars und Restaurants, die nicht gerne Hotels essen wollen, können Sie auch hier essen. Es gibt einen kleinen Bequemlichkeitsgeschäft an der Tür und ist auch bequem zu kaufen. Dienst: Die 70-minütige Ölspa ihrer Familie und Massage-Meister haben einen Monat 700 Euro pro Jahr für sechs Monate gearbeitet. Die anderen sechs Monate als Kellner im Restaurant fühlen sich nicht einfach. Der öffentliche Pool ist nicht sehr sauber, die gesamte Grünlandarbeit ist nicht gut, aber ich empfehle den Laden, frisches Essen sind wir sehr zufrieden, ich habe fünf Euro gezahlt, in Griechenland ist es viel, aber es ist auch sehr glücklich.

Wir lieben dieses Hotel nur meine Tochter und ich, ich bin fast 50 und sie ist ein Teenager. In beiden Altersbereichen haben wir uns um einen späten Auscheck am Tag gebeten und das Rezeptionspersonal hat es für uns alle sortiert. Unser Flug um 11 Uhr konnten wir alle Einrichtungen, die in unserem All Inclusive enthalten waren, zu einem zusätzlichen Preis nutzen. So wert es, das Essen war erstaunlich und das Personal super freundlich. Wir würde sicherlich zurückkehren und empfehlen.

Wir haben unlängst eine Reise nach Paloma Blanca spontan reserviert und es erschien eine fantastische Entscheidung. Das Hotel ist günstig in der Nähe des Flughafens, nur 15 Minuten entfernt. Wir waren bei unserer Ankunft von Martina herzlich willkommen, die schnell zu unserer GO-to-person für Empfehlungen und Beratung während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts geworden ist. Wir empfehlen sehr, Martina auf den besten Orten zu besuchen, um auf der Insel zu besuchen. Jede Empfehlung, die sie uns gegeben hat, war fantastisch, und dank ihr konnten wir das Beste erleben, das Korfu bietet. Um die Insel mit Leichtigkeit zu erkunden, haben wir einen Scooter vermietet, der sich als idealer Transportmittel erwiesen hat. Das Poolgebiet im Hotel ist wirklich wunderschön, und es ist es wert, die außergewöhnliche Service von Billy und dem Rest des Personals zu erwähnen. Sie gingen oben und weiter, um unser Glück zu gewährleisten und uns gut hydriert während unserer Zeit dort. Die Hotelkorridore konnten von einigen geringfügigen Renovierungen profitieren, aber unser Zimmer war komfortabel und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt haben. Wir genießen unsere Zeit in Paloma Blanca und wir zögern nicht, zurückzukehren, vor allem aufgrund der hervorragenden Service, die das Personal bietet. Insgesamt hatten wir eine unvergessliche Erfahrung, dank der warmen Gastfreundschaft, ausgezeichneten Empfehlungen und sorgfältigen Service. Wir freuen uns auf einen Besuch in der Zukunft. Just returned from a lovely 10 night stay at Hotel Gouvia. The hotel is ideally located in central Gouvia and is an ideal base for a holiday in Corfu. The room we opted for was basic but suited our needs during our stay. The room was cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels each time. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis which was ideal for us. The breakfast is plentiful with a wide range of fresh fruits, cereal, yogurt, cakes & pastries and a great selection of hot foods such as eggs bacon tomatoes and savoury pastries to name a few. The staff are friendly and always on hand to offer advice about days out and places of interest. I swim daily when at home so for me the pool was a massive bonus as it is a decent size where you can actually swim and was not full of kids on inflatables like you get in other places. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we visited Corfu again. Thanks to everyone who made our holiday a pleasant one. Yammas!

(29/05/24 – 08/06/24) *ROOM* We were allocated Room 320, which was basic but spacious and spotless. Kitted out with a double bed + single bed, fridge, kettle. WI-FI is secure but with a poor signal, best reliable signal is around the bar area. Large flat screen TV with a million German channels (though not a problem as we didn’t travel to watch TV) Air con was included 24/7. Balcony had a table + 3x chairs. *STAFF* All the staff are excellent, hard working. Nothing is too much trouble, they will do anything possible to make you comfortable and enjoy your stay. *HOTEL GENERAL* We arrived in the late evening, reception is 24x7 and was asked for room tax payment - (be aware you’ll need 3 euros / day tax to pay immediately on arrival, ask for a receipt) Maid service was provided every day except Sunday Large pool with plenty of loungers, there was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere around the pool area. We lost all water to our shower room on one of the mornings, which affected all rooms in our block until mid the afternoon, but this was reported and rectified quickly enough. *DINING* is the star of the show Breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner - the menu was varied and excellent, buffet style delicious. *ENTERTAINMENT* singers, the same band twice (not great) and a Greek dance performance act, which was very good. *GENERAL* Not much to do or visit in the area, a small stoney beach across the road and a larger stoney beach with bar and water sports further along the street. There’s a very well stocked supermarkets located nearby. The bus service (air conditioned coaches) is excellent and reliable. 2.4 euros to Corfu town, 2 euros to Kassiopi. Pantokrator seems more popular with German travellers The hotel is built on a mountain, the walk to reception is extremely steep, lots of steps to the upper apartments. Not great if you’re elderly or have mobility issues.

I didn’t expect much from the 2* hotel with bad reviews, but the hotel promised two of my requirements- a beautiful sea view and an adult-only hotel. Unfortunately, it failed in both. The sea view is not as advertised- maybe on the second floor, but on the first floor, all you can see from the balcony is the top of the restaurant roof. I could live with that, but once we went to the swimming pool on the third day of our stay, a family showed up with their maybe 6-7-year-old daughter, jumping and shouting all the time/ the mom was even louder than the girl/. The hotel didn't have water twice for a couple of hours so we took a shower at the beach, and once there was kind of an electricity outage so the air-conditioning and refrigerator didn't work in the afternoon and evening. The double bed was not a double bed, it was about 120 or 130cm wide, and such trouble for two grown-ups to sleep on. The mattress was with springs and was super bouncy, not comfortable at all. There are no hangers for shower towels and no place to dry beach towels on the balcony. The shower curtain is a nightmare, sticking on your back all the time during showering. Only once during breakfast, I ordered two 0.2 bottles of Prosecco in the hotel bar, and the price was 20e, and in all bars around the hotel, it is half-price. The hotel is very dated but very clean. What makes it special are the people working there. Every single one was super polite. The two young ladies working on the reception desk were so helpful. The room was well-cleaned every day and we got clean towels each time! The restaurant is renovated, breakfast was more than OK- repetitive, but you cannot expect more than they offer. The dinner didn't offer many vegetarian options, so we had salads and some potatoes a couple of times, and the rest of the nights, we had dinner in some of the local and the old town restaurants. Anyway, whatever we had was so tasty! The location is great. The air-conditioning is old but worked well, and a huge plus is that an outdoor unit is not on the balcony, so there is no noise. I was surprised by the room isolation- no sounds from the rooms around, we only heard some laughing a couple of times when someone passed by late at night by the room door. Altogether, the hotel is more than worth the money you for it. If the balcony was better and if there were no children, I would score it with four or five stars!

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Divani Corfu Place Hotel, da unser Flug eine erhebliche Verspätung hatte und wir bis zum Abflug eine zusätzliche Nacht in Korfu Stadt verbringen mussten. Das Hotel Divani liegt an einem Hügel oberhalb des Flughafen und somit recht günstig zur Altstadt, Kanoni und Mäuseinsel, eine Bushaltestelle der blauen Stadtbusse ist an der Auffahrt zum Hotel. Das Personal im Hotel ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da in unserem ersten Zimmer die Klimaanlage nicht funktionierte und nicht repariert werden konnte, mussten wir noch einmal umziehen, kann ja mal passieren. Die Poolbar ist sehr schön angelegt, wurde jedoch auch von einige Ameisen besucht. Das Frühstück wird aktuell nicht als Buffet angeboten, sondern wegen der Corona-Hygiene-Richtlinien am Tisch im Restaurant serviert. Bei dem Frühstück ist für ein 4 Sterne Hotel noch deutlich Luft nach oben. Dem Hotel sieht man an, dass es vor kurzen an etlichen Stelle renoviert wurde, so sind z.B. die Aufzüge neu und viele Möbel im „öffentlichen“ Bereich haben keine Gebrauchspuren. Die Zimmer sind recht grosszügig und sauber. Auch in den Zimmern wurde renoviert, hier wurde jedoch nicht wie bei den Aufzügen konsequent gearbeitet, da man z.B. einen „fröhlichen“ Mix aus alten und neuen Schaltern und Steckdosen vorfindet.

Eine traumhafte Woche. Wir können dieses liebevoll gestaltete Resort wärmstens empfehlen. Für uns war diese eine Woche perfekt. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und alles war funktional. Wir hatten einen privaten Pool, der für mich noch zu kalt war. Das Meer war mir aber auch noch zu kalt, also darf man das nicht überbewerten. Wir haben Halbpension gebucht. Das Abendessen ist ”Fine Dining” und das ist nicht unsere Welt. Wer darauf steht, ist hier aber bestens aufgehoben. Wir haben dafür mittags eine Kleinigkeit an der Beach Bar gegeben und sind abends, in eine der vielen fußläufigen Tavernen gegangen. Auch sind die Getränkepreise in diesem Hotel sehr hoch. Zum Ausglich gibt es aber direkt neben der Anlage Supermärkte, dort bekommt man wirklich alles! Hervorzuheben ist das extrem freundliche Personal. Diese Freundlichkeit kommt nicht gespielt rüber. Man fühlt sich überall herzlich empfangen. Einen ganz lieben Gruß sende ich hiermit Alexandra aus der Beach Bar. Wir haben versprochen, dass wir im September wiederkommen. Tut uns leid, es wird die erste Oktoberwoche. Es ist schon gebucht. Diesmal nur mit Frühstück.
