Das noch relativ neue Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Flughafen Bucharest (OTP) und ist über dessen Beschilderung gut zu finden. Es wird ein kostenloser Shuttlebus zum und vom Flughafen angeboten. Das kostenlose freie WLAN reicht für einfache Tätigkeiten aus. Die Zimmer sind recht sauber, jedoch kann man die Fenster nicht öffnen. Das Bad ich ausreichend groß und mir Regendusche. Leider war meine Dusche nicht perfekt sauber. Abendessen war im Restaurant möglich und von guter Qualität. Frühstück war recht reichhaltig und ebenfalls sehr gut. Beim Personal gibt es deutliche Unterschiede. Die Vorgesetzten sind absolut freundlich und stets hilfsbereit, was leider nicht für alle Mitarbeiter im Restaurantservice zutrifft. Einige wirkten trotz überschaubarer Gästemenge recht gestresst und von den Gästen genervt. Ich kann alles in allem ein positives Resümee ziehen und dieses hotel für Übernachtungen am Flughafen voll empfehlen.

I am not sure if we stayed in the same hotel as the previous reviewer? Especially for a late arrival into Bucharest this hotel is excellent. We had corresponded with the hotel prior to arrival and they had the shuttle waiting for us without us needing to phone even though we got in after 1am. Check in was very friendly and welcoming with bottled water awaiting us. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities provided. We paid for breakfast which had a good array of hot and cold choices and we felt reasonably priced compared to some hotels. Check out was late (12 noon) and we were advised at check in to prebook the shuttle for the next morning which we did so that was easy. The airport is nearby (and is walkable from the hotel is you had a simple bag/backpack) and the airport has good connections via train and bus to the city or via the train to cities elsewhere in Romania. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Someone might ask why 5/5 ! Short story I want to tell you about our long journey from country being in a war. Don’t know why bout we choose that hotel “ IBIS Style Bucharest Airport Hotel “ now I can see it’s was good choice! We just stepped in with no reservations at all after 20h of trip 😬 The hotel staff sorted us out with no questions asked even they were busy enough! We will try the best we can for you! And they did it! It’s special thanks for this, for professional support and service also nice and clean room and good food! 🙌🙌 I would recommend to you all!

We were stranded at Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport and had to spend the night. We decided on the Ramada by Wyndham Bucharest Otopeni Airport. It was the right decision. Check-in was smooth and professional. The room was a pleasant size and modern. Even though the hotel is on a very busy street, you can't hear any of the noise in the room. The hotel itself is very quiet. The breakfast was very good. We found everything we wanted for breakfast. All in all, we would be happy to go back anytime... even though we really wanted to fly to our destination without interruption.

Das Hotel selbst war sehr gut. Ich dachte, ich würde für die Nutzung des Fitnessstudio inclusive.Als ich auscheckte, wurde ich um ca. 40 Euro für die Nutzung des Fitnessstudios an beiden Tagen meines Aufenthalts gebeten. Ich habe im Restaurant gegessen, das sehr durchschnittlich war, wenn nicht schlechte Qualität und ziemlich teuer. Der Flughafentransfer war gut. Rumänen sind bekanntlich schwierig zu warnen Die Fitness-Kerle sprachen nicht Englisch und gaben nicht an, eine Gebühr, die immer in einer Sprache möglich ist. Lektion gelehrt

I'd be generous to give this a three-star rating, following a late arrival to the airport no one was answering the telephone to request an airport transfer with our luggage after two attempts so we made our own way via an Uber. The checkin was okay, entrance is unusual and small, luckily we had an airport transfer the next morning. Rooms are un-operational, outdated, small and dim lit. The shower was faulty so meant I had to hold it in one hand as it wouldn't fix in place, very shabby interior and decor - rest of the bathroom was just satisfactory with a few toiletries provided. Breakfast was however decent, via a menu card with choices given, basic but nicely presented and tasty. Service is lacking, no clear instructions, although English can be spoken and interpreted. Beds were reasonable, WiFi was working too, luckily. You can survive with this hotel, if you're looking for a night's stay at most.
