Second time-even better! We chose this hotel again because of its proximity to the Metro and Old Town. It was a win-win on both accounts. We loved walking around the area and eating locally plus we loved having easy access to DC for the museums etc. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large desk for the bit of work we needed to do. The Wi-Fi was free but I had trouble with it using AT&T but my partner has Verizon and had no issues. I did love the digital key on the app. It didn’t work a couple of times as my Wi-Fi was iffy at times in and near the room. We went to the diner next door for more reasonable breakfast prices.

Glücklich, dass wir hier geblieben waren. Das Hotel war unverschämt. Das Bellpersonal hat uns immer die Tür geöffnet und uns jedes Mal, wenn wir ins Haus gingen, begrüßt. Die Aufzüge waren super schnell und das Zimmer war außergewöhnlich. Wir wurden auf ein größeres Zimmer upgradiert und es war perfekt für den Besuch. Das Restaurant war nicht zu schlecht und das einzige, was ich normalerweise nicht gerne mit einem Valet verlassen möchte, aber sie waren schnell und freundlich. Sie schreiben sie und sie antworten eine geben Ihnen Zeit zu kommen, um das Auto zu holen. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie etwas Geld handvoll haben, wie sie Sie überwältigen und beginnen, Taschen zu fangen und das Auto zu parken. Ich war unvorbereitet und musste sich erinnern, wer später bei dem Besuch zu tippen. Die Zimmerluft war perfekt und der Besuch war fantastisch.

Mein Mann und ich feiern unser Jahrestagsende im Lorien Hotel und Spa. Unsere Entscheidung, dort zu bleiben, war teilweise aufgrund des Kundenservices, bevor wir das Zimmer sogar reserviert haben. Der Sternenservice setzte sich fort, als wir ankamen. Ashley kümmerte sich wirklich um uns während unseres Aufenthalts, um mir unseren Geburtstag noch besonders zu helfen. Wir reservierten eine Terrasse Suite, die genau wie in den Fotos aussieht - schön! Plus, es war sehr sauber. Die Lage des Hotels befindet sich auf der ruhigeren Seite der King Street, die mit erstaunlichen Lebensmitteln und Einkaufen entlang der Wanderung zum Fluss verbunden ist. Wir arbeiten bereits an Plänen, bald wieder nach Alexandria zurückzukehren. Die Lorien wird von nun an unsere Lage des Hotels sein. Kim und Marcus

We were only in Alexandria, VA for one night, arrived early and room was ready. Location was great, we were able to walk with luggage from metro. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and made the stay that much more enjoyable. Room was clean and comfortable. There is a Whole Foods block away, very convenient. First trip with 8 year old Great Niece for her birthday and the staff made her feel very special. Special thanks to Tam, Mr. Molla and Shaquera (apologies if names bit off) for all recommendations and assistance! Will definitely be our choice of hotel when we return to area.

The location is great: Walking distance to Metro station and King St. The gentleman at front desk took the time to explain to me how to get to interesting places, and even repeated twice on how to get to the free shuttle for King St. The room is spacious and elegant. The full kitchen is well equipped and shiny. I like that the sink is outside of the shower and toilet room. No problem with hot water. Parking is easy with direct access to my floor. Definitely a great hotel to return to!

Nicht bei diesem Hotel bleiben. Es ist nicht sicher. Meine Mutter, meine Schwester, und ich ging nach Alexandria, um meinen Mann zu besuchen, der aktiv ist. Meine Mutter (93) und Schwester (71) blieben im Holiday Inn Carlyle, 2460 Eisenhower Ave, Alexandria, VA 22314 von 5/5/22-5/7/22. Am Samstag Abend, um etwa 9 Uhr, gab es einen hochafrikanischen amerikanischen Mann in ihrem Zimmer, als sie eintraten. Er ging zu ihnen und meine Schwester fragte ihn, wer er war und wie er in ihr Zimmer gekommen ist. Seine Antwort war, dass er dachte, das sei sein Freundes Zimmer und zeigte ihnen, dass seine Schlüsselkarte funktioniert und sagte, er würde zum Vordertisch gehen, um das zu lösen. Nichts wurde von Mutter und Schwester gestohlen, aber meine Schwester sagte, er hatte Kleidung über seinen Arm mit Preiszeichen hängend. Sie wurden verständlich geschüttelt. Sie hätten getötet werden können. Sie gingen zum Vordertafel und hatten jemanden, der sie in ihr Zimmer zurückgelaufen hatte, um ihnen zu sagen, wie man den Totenbolt nutzen kann. So konnte niemand in ihr Zimmer eintreten, nachdem sie in ihr waren, sagte er. Zweifellos wollte ein Ingenieur auch in ihr Zimmer kommen, um sich den Schlüssellock anzusehen, aber er kam nie. Es war zu spät, Hotels zu bewegen, da alles gemacht wurde und sie waren ok, die Nacht zu verbringen. Am nächsten Morgen ließen wir sie in ein anderes Hotel. Ich habe am Montagmorgen zurückgerufen und mit dem Generalmanager gesprochen, der keine Ahnung hatte, dass das am Samstag passiert ist. Er hat die Polizei angerufen und sagte, sein Personal habe nicht das Protokoll befolgt. Sie hätten die Polizei am Samstag Abend anrufen sollen. Hmmmm fragt Sie sich, ob das Personal in dieser Sache war und der Mann einen Master-Schlüssel hatte vielleicht oder die Vorderbüro-Mitarbeiter machten Schlüssel zu den Zimmern, die sie für ihn hatten Gäste bleiben. Es war klar, dass er von anderen Zimmern mit den Kleidung mit Tags über seinen Arm gestohlen hat. Die GM war nett (zuerst) und setzte das Zimmer für die 3 Nächte und gab uns Bonus IHG-Belohnung Punkte, da wir ein Mitglied sind. Ich könnte weniger um die Punkte kümmern. Was ich mir Sorgen mache, ist 2 Monate später (7/22), die Polizei sagte, dass das Hotel keine Videoaufnahme liefert. Ich habe das Hotel mehrere Male angerufen und mit der GM gesprochen und wurde gesagt, sie nicht mehr anzurufen und mit der Polizei zu sprechen. Ich habe sie wieder angerufen, da nichts gelöst und mit dem Assistenten GM gesprochen wurde und er sagte mir in einer E-Mail “Die Hotelverwaltung arbeitet mit der lokalen Stadt der Polizei Abteilung Alexandria und wird die von einem Offizier angeforderte Bilder senden XXXX, einmal von Sicherheitskameratechniker. Jede zusätzliche Aktualisierung oder Information kommt aus der Stadt Alexandria Polizeiabteilung. ” Ich habe letzte Woche mit der Polizei gesprochen (6/27/22) und das Hotel hat die Videoaufnahme noch nicht bereitgestellt. Ich habe die GM schon mehrmals zurückgerufen und seine Stimme erhalten. Ich habe seit 2 Monaten versucht, eine Resolution zu finden, sodass ich jetzt nur das Einzige, was ich tun kann, ist, euch alle darüber zu informieren und NICHT HER SCHÜTZT IM EINEN SCHUTZ. Darüber hinaus ist das Hotel runter und die Komforts haben auf ihnen Farben.

The Morrison House Old Town Alexandria is a boutique hotel in a prime location. I have always wanted to visit and stay in this hotel, but after booking it in advance, unfortunately, I did not get a chance to enjoy it as much as I wanted to. My flight was canceled, rescheduled, and diverted to another destination. Still, in the end, my spouse could enjoy it for one night, and I could make it to retrieve my travel documents before heading to another destination outside of the country. Despite the unforeseen circumstances, the front desk team at The Morrison House Old Town Alexandria was a beacon of assistance. They ensured that my spouse's departure to DCA was smooth and timely, even in the early hours of the morning. Their friendliness and willingness to help as I left the hotel left a lasting impression. The level of service is top-notch, and I would want to return to this hotel to enjoy it with less stress and disconnect for the weekend. Thank you to the front desk team for their understanding and help when needed.

Ctrip buchte zwei Doppelzimmer, die an der Rezeption zum Einchecken bereit waren, und nur ein Doppelbett wurde beantwortet. Der Ctrip-Kundenservice war immer beschäftigt. Später rief mich ein Kundenservice an, um mit der Hotelrezeption zu sprechen, und gab sie dem Hotel. Nach einem Bestätigungscode im Inneren fand das Hotel einen anderen Abschnitt der Abteilung oder ein Doppelbett. Das Kundendiensttelefon verwandelte die Hotelrezeption in ein großes Bett. Die Rezeption weigerte sich, sagte, es könne nicht geändert werden und musste schließlich warten, bis Ctrip verhandelte, etwa eine Stunde vorher und nachher. Schließlich ging ich zum diensthabenden Manager des Hotels, um die Situation zu erklären, bevor ich einchecken konnte. Meine Zimmerkarte bekam ich um 20.50 Uhr und um 22 Uhr. Nach einem langen Tag voller Müdigkeit war es ein bisschen hässlich, diesem zu begegnen. Die Lage ist relativ nah und der Preis ist relativ günstig. Hilton ist schließlich ein großer Name, aber diese Art von Hotel muss teuer und teuer für das Frühstück sein. Ich denke immer noch, dass Holiday Inn und Crown Plaza besser und kostengünstiger sind.

Our family of 5 stayed here for a week. Everything was clean and in good working order, the staff was pleasant and helpful and the location was close to everything we needed. Parking was easy and free and breakfast was adequate. We felt the fitness center was larger than expected. We REALLY appreciated the daily housekeeping at this property as that doesn’t seem to be common these days. Though this hotel doesn’t have a pool, there are several community pools within 15 min of the property that allow you to swim for a small fee. We went to the one in Old Town and an indoor one at a recreation complex and greatly enjoyed it. Though we found this on our own, it would be great if hotel staff could recommend these options.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They’re currently updating the rooms, with the first updated ones likely to be ready in October. Easy to use laundry facilities on the lobby level (app available for payments & notification when laundry is finished). Housekeeping does an excellent job keeping the common areas and rooms clean and tidy. WiFi works great, can be upgraded with a small fee. Rooms come with a kitchenette and full-sized fridge. Can request various kitchen items, such as coffee maker, utensils, pots/pans, etc to use during your stay. Overall an excellent location with great amenities and wonderful staff.

I am glad I didn’t pay full price ($350/night) for this. Great location and everything looks nice from the outside and the lobby. The room is decent from the looks but once you stay in there, you will realized nothing is working properly. The AC/Heater was not working, the control for the AC/Heater doesn’t work so the AC was blasting cold air all night on NYE!!! So we were both freezing and it was 2am! The TV only have 5 channels and 2 are the same as the other 2, so in reality only 3 channels. The TV quality is also very outdated. Feel like we were watching TV from the 80s/90s when it was the actual 2024 NYE concerts. And on the 5th channel, it is just showing how DirectTV subscription is expired, like what? The Wifi in the room is not free unless you are a Bonvoy member. There was less than a quarter roll of toilet paper on the Tp dispenser and they also didn’t provide a second roll. The body wash pump was empty and the shampoo ran out. The bottom side of the toilet seat looks very filthy as if they haven’t clean that part of the toilet seat in a while. The floor of the bathroom was also very dirty. We usually check if we can ask for a late check-out the night before, but we called the front desk with no answers. When they finally answered, they said we have to call back at 7am to let us know. Ehh Hello? The whole point of getting a late check out is so we can sleep in? So I had to set an alarm to call back at 7am to get a 1pm check out. It was a bit annoying. This was a big disappointment for me because this was supposed to be a nice hotel from Marriott as the Autograph Collection. Especially for $350 a night in the middle of Old Town Alexandria, I had expected better quality. Not to mention the chaos during check-in. Seems like there were only 4 workers there for HUNDReDs of customer. People were angry about being stuck in the parking garage and no one can help them and they gave a lady a room that currently already have someone checked-in. Apparently the lady opened the door when the guy was showering in the room. What a chaos!

Der Hotelaufenthalt war weit weniger zufriedenstellend und hier sind die Gründe: 1. Einige Front Desk-Mitarbeiter wussten nicht, wie das Bonvoy Ambassador Hotel Kredit funktionierte, um Beweise zu liefern, viele sind schlecht ausgebildet. a. Der Morgen Front Desk-Mitglied sagte mir, dass er “nur Hier arbeitete” und der Manager würde in ein paar Stunden kommen, um mir zu helfen. Keiner kam zu mir zurück. b. Angefragt Manager Unterstützung, kein Mensch kam zu mir zurück. 2. Hotelzimmer hatte: a. Gefallene Kuchen auf dem Sofa. b. Scheiße im Badezimmer c. Gebrochene oder extrem verbrauchte Möbel. d. Geschirrte und gebrochene Fensterdräder 3. Die Rechnungsstellung war falsch und schwer zu korrigieren. Unsere Familie wuchs auf, um Hotels zu verwalten und ich weiß, dass das Eigentum und die Betriebsführung eines Hotels sehr schwierig ist, dieses Hotel zeigt nur, wie schwer es ist. Ich werde nicht wieder auf diesem Hotel bleiben, weil es so viele andere Qualitätshotels in der Umgebung zu den gleichen Kosten gibt.

Glücklich, dass wir hier geblieben waren. Das Hotel war unverschämt. Das Bellpersonal hat uns immer die Tür geöffnet und uns jedes Mal, wenn wir ins Haus gingen, begrüßt. Die Aufzüge waren super schnell und das Zimmer war außergewöhnlich. Wir wurden auf ein größeres Zimmer upgradiert und es war perfekt für den Besuch. Das Restaurant war nicht zu schlecht und das einzige, was ich normalerweise nicht gerne mit einem Valet verlassen möchte, aber sie waren schnell und freundlich. Sie schreiben sie und sie antworten eine geben Ihnen Zeit zu kommen, um das Auto zu holen. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie etwas Geld handvoll haben, wie sie Sie überwältigen und beginnen, Taschen zu fangen und das Auto zu parken. Ich war unvorbereitet und musste sich erinnern, wer später bei dem Besuch zu tippen. Die Zimmerluft war perfekt und der Besuch war fantastisch.

Mein Mann und ich feiern unser Jahrestagsende im Lorien Hotel und Spa. Unsere Entscheidung, dort zu bleiben, war teilweise aufgrund des Kundenservices, bevor wir das Zimmer sogar reserviert haben. Der Sternenservice setzte sich fort, als wir ankamen. Ashley kümmerte sich wirklich um uns während unseres Aufenthalts, um mir unseren Geburtstag noch besonders zu helfen. Wir reservierten eine Terrasse Suite, die genau wie in den Fotos aussieht - schön! Plus, es war sehr sauber. Die Lage des Hotels befindet sich auf der ruhigeren Seite der King Street, die mit erstaunlichen Lebensmitteln und Einkaufen entlang der Wanderung zum Fluss verbunden ist. Wir arbeiten bereits an Plänen, bald wieder nach Alexandria zurückzukehren. Die Lorien wird von nun an unsere Lage des Hotels sein. Kim und Marcus

I stayed at this property a little more than a year ago for work. It was satisfactory, although I used the fitness center on that visit and the equipment was not all in working order. Although my expectations for this hotel were not high, the experience was still disappointing. The room was fine, although there appeared to be water damage in the ceiling, visible in the form of paint discoloration (room 706). When I checked in for the two-night stay, I requested housekeeping. It said on the website that housekeeping is done every other day, except on request. The person who checked me in seemed a bit unsure, so I verified the following morning. I arrived back at my room around 7 p.m. to find no one had come. Ironically, the housekeeper left a paper with a QR code waiting for me when I checked in to leave a tip. When I went to complain, I was told (by the same person who checked me in the previous evening) there was nothing that could be done. Really? There was no one from housekeeping on site? No fresh towels in the hotel? I also paid for a rate with breakfast. I was not provided with any information when checking in, until I asked. At that time, I was provided with a card explaining what I was entitled to. On both mornings I ordered the yogurt parfait with fruit and granola, a fruit cup, and a small coffee. On both mornings the fruit was tasteless. This included hard strawberries, unripe cantaloupe, and blueberries. Even the blueberries were tasteless. This really is shameful. Had I not paid for a rate with breakfast, those items and a small coffee would have cost me more than $25 with tax. Finally, I delayed writing this review. I completed the survey sent automatically, providing the information above. Today, I received a pro forma response from the Assistant Manager. This lackadaisical response was the last straw and I feel that it is appropriate for me to share this experience with others.

The location is great: Walking distance to Metro station and King St. The gentleman at front desk took the time to explain to me how to get to interesting places, and even repeated twice on how to get to the free shuttle for King St. The room is spacious and elegant. The full kitchen is well equipped and shiny. I like that the sink is outside of the shower and toilet room. No problem with hot water. Parking is easy with direct access to my floor. Definitely a great hotel to return to!

Insgesamt gebe ich diesem Aufenthalt 5 Sterne. Das Personal an der Rezeption war SEHR freundlich! Die Location ist episch! Während aufgrund von Covid 19 derzeit kein Reinigungsservice angeboten wird, kamen jeden Tag Haushälterinnen ins Zimmer, um alle gewünschten Zimmerartikel (z. B. Kaffee-Pflegehandtücher) abzugeben. Das Hummingbird Restaurant ist geöffnet und lecker. Weitere Informationen: Parken auf einem Stadtdeck direkt hinter dem Hotel für deutlich weniger Geld als Hotelparkplätze. Die Wände im Hotel sind SEHR dünn - ich habe meine Telefongespräche buchstäblich mithören können (& ähm ... andere Aktivitäten).

Das Hotel war in einer wunderbaren Stadt nicht zu weit von DC entfernt. Die Architektur war erstaunlich, und das Zimmer hatte eine ganz einzigartige Einrichtung. Service war gut und ich hatte keine Beschwerden.
