Thermen-Hotels in Präfektur Yamanashi, Japan

Meine Freundin und ich haben eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht und sind absolut begeistert. Hier ist unser Feedback zu den einzelnen Punkten: • Zimmer & Ausstattung: Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der 5. Etage mit einem fantastischen Ausblick auf den Mount Fuji. Da wir aus Deutschland kommen, haben wir zum ersten Mal ein traditionelles Ryokan-Zimmer ausprobiert. Das Schlafen auf dem Futon und den Tatami-Matten war eine tolle neue Erfahrung für uns – wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! • Verpflegung: Das Essen hat uns hervorragend geschmeckt. Besonders von der Vielfältigkeit des Frühstücks waren wir sehr positiv überrascht. Es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. • Service: Das Hotelpersonal war zu jedem Zeitpunkt super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich hier als Gast wirklich willkommen. Fazit: Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können den Aufenthalt hier wärmstens empfehlen! Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.

Das Hotel besticht durch seine günstige Lage direkt am Kawaguchi-See und bietet bequeme Parkmöglichkeiten. Die Zimmer bieten einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Fuji und den Kawaguchi-See. Abendessen und Frühstück sind gut. In der Umgebung befinden sich zahlreiche Restaurants, Konditoreien und Kunsthandwerksläden, die zu entspannten Erkundungen einladen.

Unfortunately, despite the hotel being in a great location and the rooms being big and spacious, the beds were not comfortable and the staff was not great. We arrived after 11 pm and were told that the checkout would be at 10 am the next day. We asked if we can check out later and were told we need to pay. In other Asian countries and even in Europe I haven’t been asked to pay to stay in the room for one more hour, plus the fact that we arrived quite late and were going to use the room for less than 12 hours, made us think they could have allowed us to stay until 11 am for free. Anyway, we said we’re going to think about it and the staff who was working overnight told us to call reception when we decide. We called around 1 am and told them that we have decided we would do a later checkout at 11 am so we can sleep more and will pay upon check out. At 10:20 am we were woken up by reception ringing our room TWICE. I picked up the second time and we were asked if we’re not taking the last morning shuttle bus to the station that is leaving now, at 10:20 am. I told them we have not booked such service and we actually have late checkout so they shouldn’t be calling us to bother us. The person on the phone was clearly not the same person I spoke to the previous night and he had worse English - he proceeded to tell me I need to pay for the checkout and I tried to explain to him that we already had booked that in and will pay when we leave. I also told him that he had woken us up. He continued repeating that we need to pay for late check out and I said a few times that I know that, we have booked this and he should’ve been informed. I also repeated a few times that he woke us up and the whole point of us doing a late checkout is to sleep, not to be woken up. We couldn’t get a good sleep and proceeded to pack up and check out. There was a lady at reception and I asked her if she speak English. She said no, then I asked if anyone who’s working speaks English and she said no?! So all we could do was pay for the late check out, even though we technically didn’t get an extra hour of sleep, again on top of the fact that we checked in the night before late and used the room for less than 12 hours, and left. As much as the location is lovely, I wouldn’t stay here again and I recommend that management ensures messages are past between staff when they change shifts.

Das Hotel scheint schon länger geöffnet zu sein. Es liegt auf einem Berggipfel mit 360-Grad-Panoramablick und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Fuji. Zimmerzustand: Wir hatten ein Zimmer für vier Personen gebucht. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ordentlich, sodass wir sehr gut schlafen konnten. Das Badezimmer roch etwas unangenehm, aber wir informierten das Personal, und es wurde umgehend behoben. Obwohl das Problem nicht vollständig beseitigt wurde, merkte man, dass man sich bemüht hatte, es zu beheben. Service: Ausgezeichnet. Das Personal sprach Englisch und war sehr hilfsbereit. Frühstück: Das Frühstück hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Auswahl war gut. Es schließt zwar etwas früh um 9:30 Uhr, aber das ist in Ordnung. Im Speisesaal kann man den Blick auf den Fuji genießen. Angrenzend befindet sich ein Garten, in dem man spazieren gehen und den Fuji in seiner vollen Pracht fotografieren kann. Insgesamt vergebe ich 9,5 von 10 Punkten. Punktabzug gibt es für den leichten Geruch im Badezimmer, der möglicherweise auf ein veraltetes Abflusssystem zurückzuführen ist.

This was the kind of place I really was looking forward to staying at! Complete traditional Japanese style stuff for a real cultural immersion feel. Futon and yukata were provided, a shared bath shower room with an onsen were surprising at first but incredibly refreshing and pleasant once I started using it. I really enjoyed the fact that the shower water temperature can be easily controlled. The room had a very beautiful view of Mount Fuji and I did well with natural illumination for most of the day. The futon is VERY comfortable and the nights were very silent as well, I slept like a baby. There are curtains to block out the light if you want to. There is also a TV with local TV channels that I quite enjoyed to watch for a while (although I don't speak Japanese! But it was fun to watch a sumo fight and that famous guy who eats at restaurants). Location is perfect: walking distance to a Family Mart and 7 Eleven, or Denny's, GUSTO café, Pizzaria and other restaurants around the Yamanaka Lake if you don't mind walking 10-20 min. The host helped me move my heavy luggage upstairs and tried his best to communicate in English. The only suggestion I would have is for the air conditioner to have different temperature options. The room's temperature was MUCH better than outside (I stayed in the hotel during summer) but allowing guests to set the temperature by themselves can definitely add to the experience :)

Absolut empfehlenswert! 👍 1. Gute Verkehrsanbindung, 11. Haltestelle der Roten Linie (ca. 15 Minuten vom Bahnhof Kawaguchiko). 2. Hervorragende Lage direkt am See; an klaren Tagen hat man vom Restaurant aus einen fantastischen Blick auf den Fuji. 3. Exzellenter Service. Da ich versehentlich ein Nichtraucherzimmer gebucht hatte und keine anderen Zimmer mehr verfügbar waren, bat ich um Stornierung meiner Reservierung für die zweite Nacht. Das Hotel war sehr entgegenkommend und korrigierte die Buchung. 4. Das Hotel verfügt über ein Thermalbad, das sehr entspannend ist. 5. Das Abendessen (Buffet, gegen Aufpreis) war ausgezeichnet, mit einer großen Auswahl an Gerichten; die Getränke waren inklusive. Insgesamt ein sehr zufriedenstellender Aufenthalt, 5 Sterne! 10 Punkte!

Wenn Sie Hals über Kopf in das japanische Leben eintauchen möchten, dann ist dies definitiv der richtige Ort. Tatami, Futons, Yukata, Onsen und Kaiseki-Abendessen. Die Lage ist gut, in der Nähe von zwei Haltestellen der grünen und roten Buslinien. Das Zimmer verfügt über einen Wasserkocher und einen Kühlschrank. Ziemlich asketisch. Die Bettbezüge sind wirklich sehr unbequem, die Decke fällt ständig heraus. Das Frühstück ist japanisch: Snacks, Reis, Miso, Fischsuppe. Sie servieren jeweils um 7 Uhr oder 8 Uhr und geben Ihnen bei der Registrierung einen Gutschein für eine bestimmte Zeit. Für ein einmaliges japanisches Kaiseki-Abendessen muss man an der Rezeption im Voraus bezahlen, es kostet 4.500 Yen. Interessante Erfahrung. Das Onsen ist klein und verfügt über ein Außenbad und ein Innenbad. Kostenlos für Hotelgäste. Es ist interessant, ein paar Nächte zu bleiben, aber ohne ein europäisches Frühstück (im Hotel kann man nicht wählen) und ein normales Bett ist es schwierig, länger zu bleiben.

Ein exzellentes Hotel mit Blick auf den Kawaguchiko-See. Das Zimmer ist recht geräumig, das Personal sehr freundlich, und es gibt ein Onsen (eine Art Sauna mit Thermalbecken), in dem man sich nach einer Radtour entspannen kann. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Frühstück und Abendessen gebucht, beides wird in Buffetform angeboten. Für alle, die morgens nicht an Fisch, Reis und andere japanische Spezialitäten gewöhnt sind, gibt es auch europäische Croissants, Marmeladen und Kaffee. Beim Abendbuffet gibt es unbegrenzt Krabben, allerdings muss man sich die Krabbenscheren mit den Japanern teilen, die dieses Hotel vermutlich genau deswegen wählen. Eine Seilbahn, nur 30 Meter vom Hotel entfernt, bringt Sie auf einen kleinen Berg mit herrlichem Blick auf den Fuji. Auch der Busbahnhof ist in 10–12 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

We spent our anniversary with my girlfriend in Kaneyamaen, and our experience was above and beyond. Starting with the shuttle option provided by the hotel from Mishima station, which also took us to Oshino hakkai, what a gorgeous place, before ending up at the hotel. We were really satisfied of our driver who shared facts about Yamanashi prefecture and Fuji. Our check-in process was also a really nice experience. From the moment we arrived we felt the hospitality of the hotel service crew. They escorted us to our room and helped with our luggage. Staying at a Sanri-Comfort Western Room, we had access to 2 lounges, where in one of them we had access to many kind of amazing wine from Yamanashi, among other tasty snacks. We choose our yukata and headed for matcha tasting. This is located in another part of the building which also gives us a peak at the wonderful garden. The matcha and snack we received helped us settle in with the calm garden view. Then came dinner. My god, the dinner was above and beyond. Neither of us had an 8 course dinner before with such a perfect service and absolutely amazing food. Hats of to the restaurant and service crew. Truly impressed. We decided to walk of the calories in the hotels beautiful garden at night. The illumination creates a really romantic experience. After this, we attended the Taiko drum show, which is organized by the hotel crew. First time for me and I can say it definitely made our experience even more special. Fantastic work. Then the star of the show. The open-air bath on the balcony. The sight of Mt. Fuji early morning from the bath, was a magical experience which we'll never forget. The buffet breakfast provides a great selection of food and drinks, rest assured we left very pleased. All in all, this was an extraordinary stay for us. Nothing but max points. Wish we'll have the chance to visit again.

Dieses Hotel ist nur wegen des Ausblicks auf den Fuji zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig, aber die Schalldämmung ist extrem schlecht – man hört jedes Gespräch aus dem Nebenzimmer. Morgens, wenn die Sonne aufgeht, ist es sehr hell, da es keine Vorhänge gibt. Für eine einzige Nacht mag das ja noch gehen, aber wirklich lohnenswert ist es nicht.
