Thermen-Hotels in Präfektur Niigata, Japan

Hotel was generally clean except for the front area where shoes need to be removed.. the floor mat was wet but it wasnt changed, so its kindaof gross. Amenities are not great either. No lotion, no facial products, only basic toiletries and toothbrush provided. No kids yukata provided too for my child. Food was very average - both breakfast and dinner. No variety, everyday its a type of shabu - 1 day pork & beef, 1 day beef, 1 day fish. My kid got very bored of the food. Bed was comfy. Pillows were crap and only 1 pillow each.. View was quite nice, could see e neighbouring mountains. Location is very good, 5 to 10mins walk from e echigo yuzawa train station. There are quite alot of food at the train station. While this is supposedly a ryokan, its just another dormy inn. Dont expect too much - considered decent.

Ich wohne im Hotel Xinjiang Domi, als ich aus dem Weißen Haus ging. Es ist sehr einfach zu bewegen und der Halle ist sehr sauber. Besonders die oberen warmen und sauna-Schlafzimmer können die Müdigkeit nach der Arbeit heilen. Ich bin zufrieden mit detaillierten Dienstleistungen wie Getreide und Gefrierschrank nach dem Waschen. Beim Frühstück mochte ich Tarkatsu und Fuori Weizen. Ich fühlte mich einzigartig an der Braut. Das Zimmer war etwas kompakt, aber sehr komfortabel, im Allgemeinen ist es eine sehr zufriedenstellende Unterkunft.

The place is very close to Gala Yuzawa station around 8mins walk. The place is great with attentive staff. There is an available shuttle service where you can call the hotel to fetch you. Downside is that there is no available restaurants nearby so you have to go to Echigo Yuzawa. You can avail the shuttle service. Would have been great if there’s supplementary breakfast. There’s a 300yen fee for bath.

Einer der schönsten Hotels, die wir in Japan geblieben haben. Wir hatten in einem traditionellen japanischen Zimmer mit Futon Betten mit erstaunlicher Aussicht geblieben, im Vergleich zu einigen Hotels, die in Tokio geblieben waren, das Personal hier war so nett, geduldig und hilfreich. Wir waren hier zum Ski gekommen, was wunderbar war, da das Resort mit seinem eigenen Skigarten und Aufzugspassen kommt, die wir erhalten (so großzügig und dankbar!), es gibt auch eine schöne Onsen-Website für Hotelgäste zu nutzen (frei). Auch wenn dieses Resort vielleicht wie einen Spaziergang zum Bahnhof scheint, gibt es einen rechtzeitigen Busservice mit wunderschönem Personal dort zu helfen. Würde empfehlen und würde sicher wieder kommen!

The hotel itself was nice, but the staff at the ski resort was horrible, the rentals are also not well maintained. The boards are not waxed, which makes it difficult to work with as there are a lot of flat routes which are difficult to avoid (Pony and village road were the flattest slope Ive ever seen in my life, I had to unstrap and walk and the board just wouldn't move). Ski resort staff were unfriendly and the rental staff was the worst, there was a lady there that was cold and rude. The only reason why the rental shop is surviving is probably because the equipments are salomon branded and that there is no other option.  I would visit again but only because the routes are fun, Myoko long run was the best, but I would never want to rent from the shop again. The food was very very good. For breakfast, you could choose from western or Japanese buffet. Western buffet is highly recommended, the omelette was the best ive eaten in my life and there was a diy risotto which was great as well. For dinner, there were 4 options, either buffet, steak, Japanese or shabushabu. All requiring reservations which is tough if you are checking in the evening as some might not be available. Highly recommend the steak, the food was good and the staff were amazing. Japanese was the hardest to get a reservation for but the food was quite underwhelming. The room was clean and ski lockers are also provided but it's tiny and can barely fit 2 boards. But I wish that in the toilet in the common area, you can adjust the tap temperature as the water is freezing cold. Amenities wise, bottled water are provided daily, also, yukata was provided but you can only wear them to the onsen which was extremely troublesome as I had to change multiple times a day.  The hotel provides shuttle bus services to and fro jyoetsumyoko station which was easy to book. The bus drivers were also friendly and helped out with the luggage. In summary, for a 5 stars hotel, it didn't live up to expectations, ski resort and rental staffs were unwilling to help and unfriendly. Also, some of the staffs could not speak Japanese which is puzzling for a hotel in Japan. If not for the amazing snow and slopes I would never come back.

Das Hotel fuehlt sich ein bisschen so an wie eine Zeitreise, aber es ist alles liebevoll gemacht, der Service ist sehr gut und das Essen ist hervorragend. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr modern, aber gemuetlich und wir haben uns ingesamt sehr wohl gefuehlt. Die Shuttle Busse ins Skigebiet sind sehr hilfreich und der Onsen im Hotel ist super! Wir wuerden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Sehr schöner Ort zum Aufenthalt! Ruhig im Frühjahr/Sommer, da die Gegend im Winter beliebter ist. Sehr nahe der Station Echigo Yuzawa in 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Bei dem Hotel wurde schön mit Komplimentarmatch und Snack begrüßt. Beim Einchecken war sogar ein schönes Gachapon-Spiel, in dem Sie einen ihrer speziellen Niigata/Yuzawa-Sachen gewinnen können! Ich habe ein kleines Paket Niigata Reis gewonnen. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig mit einem komfortablen Futonbett. Die öffentlichen Badezimmer waren so nett und gut gepflegt! Das Personal hier ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wenn Sie nicht Ihre spezielle Abendessen/Frühstücks-Set vorbehalten haben, können Sie noch mit 2 Tage vorausbestellt bestellen über das Frontdesk. Ich liebe auch, dass sie kostenlose Shuttle zum Check-out auf Anfrage anbieten! Sicherlich hier wieder bleiben, wenn jemals wieder in der Gegend 🫶🏼

Dieses Kettenhotel verfügt über Thermalbäder. An der Hochgeschwindigkeitskreuzung gelegen. Es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Es gibt auch einen Fischmarkt. Die Kantine neben dem Hotel hat eine große Portion und eine große Schüssel Nudeln reicht für zwei Personen. Die Zimmergröße ist etwas klein, aber es ist alles vorhanden was vorhanden sein sollte und der Preis ist recht günstig. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Parken ist kostenlos.

The cabin we stayed with a king bed is very nice. The staff are very welcoming and speak good English too. The onsen is my favorite. As it was off peak, not crowded. The dinner and breakfast top up was very worth it as well. We ate very well and enjoyed the fireplace outside the restaurant afterward. Rem to check out the merchandise and the Snow Peak Museum nearby. I hope to come back again one day.

Unser Zimmer befand sich im zweiten Stock des Nebengebäudes, und einige Treppen waren schwer begehbar, sodass wir unseren Hundewagen nur mühsam tragen konnten. Selbst bei geschlossener Tür gelangten irgendwie Insekten herein. Das Freiluftbad roch nachts stark nach Benzin, vermutlich aus dem Gasthof, was unangenehm war. Da gerade die Reiserntezeit war, bestellten wir ein zusätzliches Frühstück, das wirklich köstlich war. Viele Gäste brachten ihre Haustiere mit, und der Gasthof sowie seine Gäste sind sehr tierfreundlich.
