Excellent location, warm-hearted owners, clean, great breakfast, highly convenient eateries and grocery store within 100-300m walk. Easily accessible from airport by Bus #16 or 41 (loading bay at Zone 15, outside Terminal 1, direct, 14 bus stops). As the digital board and announcement in the bus is rather confusing, the best is to request the bus driver to inform you to get off at ”Shanvarna Road Est, stop 231”. Try to buy a Standard Leap Card from Terminal 1 Convenient Store for €10 (€5 deposit included), if not available, a Leap Card for single ride can be purchased at €2.60 or simply pay at bus with €2.60 coins. Upon checking in, walk 500m from B&B to Maxol Service Station Swords Road to purchase the Standard Leap Card, your single ride will then cost €2 only with free transfers within 90 minutes. Buses to downtown Dublin (14-17 stops) or other counties nearby are also available from the same bus stop across the road of the B&B. Returning from downtown will drop you off at the bus stop right in front of the B&B. The Comet (a local pub) and Centra Santry Village grocery store are within 100-200m walk from B&B, a pizza/burger take away and a Chinese Takeway are also available across the road. Owners are kind and friendly. Would recommend this B&B to everyone visiting Dublin especially solo traveler depending on public transport and prefers quiet places out of downtown.

Ein wunderschönes Stadthaus in Dublin, im grünen Ballsbridge. Nur 2 Gehminuten von der Lansdowne Road, dem Aviva Stadium und der DART-Bahn entfernt. In nur 5 Minuten erreichen Sie zu Fuß einige nette Restaurants, Cafés und Bars – eine ideale Lage. Ich habe hier übernachtet, da ich einen Visatermin in der US-Botschaft hatte, die ebenfalls nur 5 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt ist. Das Zimmer war sauber und sehr geräumig, mit hohen Decken und großen Fenstern. Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank im Wohnzimmer waren sehr praktisch, da wir unser eigenes Frühstück mitgebracht hatten. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten. Einziger Minuspunkt: Ein Vorhang im Schlafzimmer schien von der Stange gesprungen zu sein und hing halb herunter. Er ließ sich nicht befestigen, da das Fenster zu hoch war. Er verdeckte aber gerade so das Fenster und die Straßenlaternen, also kein Problem. Nur zur Info: Check-out ist um 10 Uhr, was früher ist als in anderen Hotels. Die Reinigungskräfte klopften bereits um 9:55 Uhr an die Tür – also ziemlich pünktlich!

Ich liebe die Unterkunft so sehr, es war so sehr sauber, die Lage war so einfach, wie es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß vom Zentrum Dublins, der erstaunliche Teil ist, dass der Flughafenbus 41 hält direkt vor der Abbott Lodge so mit Google-Karte ist auch sehr easy. Der Service ist oberstes Gebäude und die Rezeption ist 247. Zimmer so sauber und das Bett ist groß, auch mit extra Bett für Kinder.

Located in the Georgian area of Dublin - you’re away from the hustle and bustle but an easy walk into the centre. Check in was easy as was check out - I’ve nothing but good things to say about all the staff here who were friendly and helpful. The room was small but quiet and clean. Bedding was comfortable. Tea and coffee was available 24/7 in the lobby which was great. Searsons is just down the road for a bevvy or something to eat - as is Bobbys wine bar and other coffee shops and food places. Would definitely stay here again when in Dublin.

Schöne komfortable und warme Zimmer und nahe an Bushaltestelle! Sehr nett Dorf. Sehr freundlicher portugiesischer Kerl, der dort arbeitete, um die Zimmer zu reinigen. Er war sehr hilfreich, rief mich ein Taxi und brachte meine Taxitasche auf die Straße. Ich schätze das wirklich. Er braucht einen Lohnzuwachs. 🍀😊

Gardiner Lodge is right in the heart of Dublin and has a rustic, authentic feel, though the neighborhood can feel a bit sketchy. Breakfast was good, but you have to choose a time in advance, which can make sightseeing tricky if you’re only in the city for a couple of days. The staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival. Parking is expensive and not very close, but otherwise everything you need is within walking distance or a short bus ride.

Excellent hotel, great service and only 5 minutes walk to Landsdowne station that you can reach city centre within 15 minutes. The room is very nice and you can enjoy free coffee and tea, playing board game in the evening. The honourable system for whiskey bar is bdonus and the complimentary breakfast is very delicious. One thing I have to mention is that no air conditioning for the room but it's not bothering me in Dublin's weather.

Es ist ein ausgezeichnetes Gästehaus, das uns nicht ins Geld gehen lässt, wenn wir mit unserem Sohn reisen. Wir hatten ein Dreierzimmer gebucht und haben ein Auto, also ist der Ort perfekt. Das Personal (in Familienbesitz) ist wirklich freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Lage ist in der Nähe vieler Dinge, einschließlich Bussen. Unsere Heizung funktionierte über Nacht nicht, also war es uns etwas zu kalt. Das tut dem Ort aber keinen Abbruch, wie schön er ist. Wir werden wieder hier übernachten.

Der Service ist normal, der Selbsthilfe-Check-in, es gibt Passwort und Löschungsverfahren. Aber die Einrichtungen sind alt, die Treppen und die Treppe außerhalb des Zimmers sind etwas instabil, und jeder Schritt wird ein Geräusch auslösen. Die Isolierung ist normalerweise auch eine Geräusche, die die Türen öffnen können.

Das Hotel liegt 15 Minuten zu Fuß von der O'Connor Street entfernt, und der Flughafenbus ist auch am Ort der Parkplätze in der O'Connor Street. Das Hotelzimmer ist komplett, der Rezeption kleine Bruder ist enthusiastisch und aktiv. Ally ist auch sehr enthusiastisch und willkommen, den Helfer zu helfen und gut zu diskutieren.
