The hotel is nice, spacious beautiful room at check in we were treated to a refreshing juice. There is a big pool on the grounds and a big jacuzzi with hot water in the room.  Minuses of the hotel: Far from the attractions. Taxi from the center only go there for the price of pick me x2. Hotel taxi are 3 times more expensive. There are no stores and restaurants near the hotel, so inside the hotel prices for food x3, Also after 6pm it is dangerous to be outside because elephants are walking around. Now let's talk about the premium status and the five races. In 7 years of traveling, this is the first hotel that did not have a bathrobe, slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. The plumbing in the shower leaks, and the doors creak so much that you could call the spirits at night. Regarding the attention to the customer. I mentioned my upcoming birthday in conversation with the manager, but this fact was not used in any way to show any form of attention from the hotel. This is a huge miscalculation on the part of the staff at a premium hotel. We also had a late departure and our request to delay in the hotel for a couple of hours was refused. This was not due to the arrival of new customers, as the manager offered to extend our stay for a fee. For future customers this fact may be decisive in their choice. In general, the hotel is not bad, but the service and flexibility of the staff, as well as individual approach to customers, does not correspond to the premium level and requires improvement.

Das Personal war wunderbar, so hilfsbereit und dauerte Zeit, um mir einen vollen Tag zu planen, wie ich nur einen Tag in Kandy hatte. Sie gab mir auch Vorschläge für meine Reise nach Kandy auch. Der Fitnessraum war fantastisch zu haben und der Pool. Kettle und Kühlschrank in den Zimmern. Belegen sehr nahe dem Stadtzentrum von Kandy. Wirklich wert der angemessenen Preis! Wirklich persönliche Kontakt... sehr geschätzt! Wäre absolut empfehlenswert!

The pool was fantastic, the pool staff and cleaning staff were excellent. The room was spacious, excellent shower, good air conditioning and the grounds are immaculately kept. This lovely hotel was badly let down by the quality of the restaurant. There is nowhere else to eat, you have to eat at the hotel restaurant. The food is dreadful and overpriced. I had classic Sri Lankan curry and it was inedible. A friend had seafood and said it was disgusting. Another friend had a hamburger for lunch and said it was ”not very nice”.

Wir waren im Rahmen unserer Rundreise im Heritance. Allein die Lage und die besondere grüne Architektur sind ein Erlebnis. Der exclusive grüne Fernblick will aber durch einen langen Anfahrtsweg erkämpft sein! Einmal angekommen überlegt man sich jede Fahrt. Eine klares Begrüßungskonzept für Neuankömmlinge ist leider nicht vorhanden, auch nicht schriftlich auf dem Zimmer. Begrüßungsgetrank, Unterschrift, ab aufs Zimmer. Wir mussten uns die Örtlichkeiten im Hotel, das WLAN Passwort dann selbst erarbeiten. Leider ist das Hotel ganz schön in die Jahre gekommen - Stand 90er Jahre, vom Flachbildfernseher mal abgesehen. Der Wille zur Instandsetzung ist zu erkennen, vieles ist mittlerweile an der Verschleißgrenze (z. B. total ausgefranste Menükarte). Die Poolliegen sind sperrmüllreif und decken gerade so den Bedarf für die Gäste. Das reichliche Personal ist bemüht aber nicht blickig, wirkt eher genervt, vielleicht vom Durchlauf, vielleicht wegen der Covid Situation. Das Buffet ist für ein 5-Sterne Hotel eher Durchschnitt, vom preislich überzogenen Abendbuffet für 6.000LKR/Person ganz zu schweigen. Insgesamt eine architektonische und lagetechnische Perle, die dringend aber frischen Wind benötigt. Preislich aktuell zur Hälfte im Vergleich zu den Angaben im Lonely Planet zu haben.

Wunderbares Hotel als umgebaute Tee - Fabrik inmitten von Tee - Feldern, etwas außerhalb gelegen und schwer über schmale Wege erreichbar. Das Hotel gleicht einem Museum mit vielen alten Maschinen, Bildern. Sehr freundliches Personal, sowohl an der Rezeption, als auch im Restaurant (mr Kesawan). Auch die sonstigen Mitarbeiter sind äußerst freundlich.

Der unbewegliche Pool verfügt über eine erste Klasse Landschaft. Von dem Pool können Sie die schöne Landschaft Kandy sehen. Die Landschaft des Zimmers ist auch gut. Nach dem Hotel wird das Hotelpersonal helfen, den Aufenthalt zu verwalten und einen willkommenen Drink zu bieten. Das Hotel ist groß und mein Aufenthaltszimmer ist relativ weit entfernt. Das Zimmer ist groß, es gibt zwei Betten zwischen drei Personen, die zusammen mit einem Einzelbett schlafen, genug für drei Personen. Das Zimmer ist groß, es verfügt über Klimaanlage und Windschutzscheiben, das Zimmer ist gut, es gibt einen kleinen Balkon, der zur Verdammung verwendet werden kann. Der Ort, an dem das Zimmer nicht ausreichend ist, ist wirklich alt, die individuellen Wäsche ist etwas schwarz und es fühlt sich an, dass die Toilette nicht gut ist! Im Hotel hat man einen Buffet gegessen, der Preis ist über 3000 Rupien, viele Arten, der Geschmack ist gut! Aber das Frühstück enthält kein Alkohol, es muss nach dem Essen ein paar kleine Gebühren geben (dies ist letztendlich ein kleines Land). Zusätzlich fühlt sich dieses Hotel in Trip.com billiger als andere Plattformen!

Nachdem wir schon drei Nächte in in der wunderschönen Unterkunft Taru Villas Habarana übernachtet hatten, haben wir spontan unsere Nacht in Kandy auf Taru Villas Kandy umgebucht und reisen auch hier sehr zufrieden ab. Eine saubere, gepflegte Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichem Personal und gutem Essen. Danke Taru Villas!

This was a great place to stay in Nuwareliya. The Villa is beautifully kept with 3 cozy rooms and a great small garden for some early morning teas! The staff were quite helpful, and the villa is located in close proximity to the Nuwareliya town. It is one of the most peaceful villas to stay at with a good view of some tea fileds. It is definitely worth a visit for couples, a group of friends and/ or Family.

Overall stay in radisson kandy was pretty pleasant and comfortable. Room was very clean and presentable. Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the dining hall was spacious and the food was tasty with a variety of dishes. Roof top restaurants have a good variety of dishes with swimming pool and very view of skyline with visible kandy lake, buddha temples, mountains etc. Staff was very pleasant and ready to help for any requirements. Only was the availability of drinking water. Supplied only 2 bottles of 500 ml each and water cooler/ dispenser not available and guest had to buy additional water bottles at very high cost (compared to market rate. Hotel management can have a look at an issue of availability of drinking water. Otherwise the overall hotel stay was pleasant/ satisfying.
