Overall, everything went pretty good. Would love to have had a microwave in the room. Refrigerator was not cold enough.

The location of the Galt House is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown Louisville with breathtaking views of the Ohio River. It’s within walking distance to many attractions, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was struck by the grand, modern decor that beautifully blends the hotel’s historic charm with contemporary elegance. The room I stayed in was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room offered stunning river views that made waking up each morning a delight. The amenities were top-notch, from the plush bathrobes to the high-quality toiletries. I truly appreciated the attention to detail. Dining at the Swizzle Dinner & Drinks restaurant was an experience in itself! The rotating restaurant offers a unique and elevated dining experience with panoramic views of the city skyline. The food was exceptional, with a variety of locally inspired dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary preferences, showcasing genuine care and hospitality. The service throughout my stay was exemplary. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to ensuring my stay was perfect. From the concierge who provided excellent recommendations to the housekeeping staff who kept everything spotless, the level of service exceeded my expectations. I also had the opportunity to relax at the hotel’s RIVUE Tower Pool, which was a tranquil oasis after a day of exploring the city. The facilities, including the fitness center and spa, were well-maintained and provided an additional layer of luxury to my stay. Overall, my experience at the Galt House Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. It’s a fantastic blend of southern hospitality, luxury, and comfort. Hotel is fine, but the air conditioners - wall mounted under the window like normal at this price point - make the bed in room 304 vibrate.  Turned mine off, and still got vibrations from the neighbors' units.  Ugh.  Slept poorly.  And the only reason I was there was to sleep.  Will not return.  Will avoid the brand going forward.

Overall great experience and service. Very friendly staff clean room, comfortable bed.

Alle waren sehr freundlich, unser Zimmer war sauber, sie hinterlassen einen schönen kleinen Duck auf dem Badezimmer, was ich denke ist eine schöne Idee, besonders wenn Sie wenige haben. Es ist in einem großen Bereich viele Restaurants und Geschäfte rund um und leicht zu erreichen, um wieder auf die Autobahn. Ich würde definitiv empfehlen, hier zu bleiben.

The hotel was gorgeous. The river view rooms were awesome and roomy. The indoor pool with the glass windows and fire pits outside were amazing as well as the Staff and the restaurant/bar!

Das Hotel war einer von mehreren auf unserer 2000-Meilen-Reise und es war der beste von ihnen alle!! Sehr sauber, sehr freundliches Personal, wunderbar komfortable Königsgröße-Bett, Waschmaschine und Trockner direkt über das Zimmer von uns. Wir wünschen, dass wir länger geblieben hätten. Perfekter Preis!

Very outdated hotel; would not recommend unless you are looking for old time feel.
