My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional from start to finish. I genuinely felt like royalty throughout my entire visit. Every single staff member — from housekeeping to the restaurant team and the pool attendants — went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. I have never experienced such outstanding hospitality before. The hotel manager, Mr. Eyad, deserves special recognition for his professionalism and kindness. He personally assisted me with a late checkout, as my flight was scheduled later in the day, which made a huge difference. I would also like to commend Ken and Duncan from the restaurant staff, who were remarkably attentive, courteous, and warm. Each morning, they anticipated my preferences, bringing my latte and omelet without me even having to ask. The hotel’s location is superb, offering breathtaking views of both the sea and the pool. The cleanliness was impeccable, with housekeeping service provided twice a day, and the quality of the food was excellent. Every detail exceeded my expectations. This was, without doubt, one of the best experiences I have ever had. Jordanians are among the kindest people I have met, and I am already looking forward to returning in the near future.

Everything was good and ok except that when I arrived to the hotel around 10:00 pm no body was there I had to go next door to the pharmacy to ask if the reception was open or if I had to call someone to check in , the pharmacy employee had to go inside the hotels office to find someone after 15 minutes someone came in

Am zweiten Tag reservierte ich direkt eine Tour mit dem Hotel - der Preis war fair und die Spots viel besser als der Tag vor in Wadi Rum. Weitere spektakulär und fast keine Menschen. Absolut erstaunlich. Service: organisierte Transport zum Besucherzentrum, um meinen Bus nach Amman zu fangen und einen fairen Deal mit der Tour. Shell Luxury Camp is an idyllic oasis set against an otherwise harsh desert landscape. Waking up to sunrise right outside the camp is genuinely breathtaking. The cosy “shell” accommodation delivers a true five-star experience, with exceptionally comfortable bed linens. Service was prompt, staff were attentive, warm, and professional. Hot water availability is limited to specific time frames and was only lukewarm during winter. To their credit, the front desk did remind guests, which helped manage expectations. Although the camp is relatively new, signs of wear and tear are already visible. Broken floor tiles and damaged toilet fixtures detract from the overall experience and should be addressed promptly to maintain the camp’s luxury positioning. The campsite would benefit from improved upkeep. Contrary to the hotel description, reaching the campsite directly by private car is not always possible, especially when roads are covered with sand. Hotel transfer is required. To avoid miscommunication, where language barriers may exist, it would be helpful for the camp to request guests’ vehicle plate number, colour, and model in advance, in addition to sharing live location. The room rate is undeniably steep, but overall, I had a memorable and luxurious desert stay at Shell Luxury Camp.

Our stay at Shaheen Camp was an incredible experience, even though we were transferred to Hasan Zawaideh Camp due to the low season. Since the camps are next to each other, and likely have the same owners, the transition was seamless, and we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff made sure we felt at home, offering delicious tea, traditional dance, and live music, creating a truly immersive Bedouin experience. The variety of tours and activities they provided allowed us to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Wadi Rum in an unforgettable way. The food was outstanding—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every meal felt like a special occasion, adding to the magic of our stay. The only minor point for improvement was the bed setup, as it was made up of two single beds combined, but honestly, this was such a small detail compared to the overall incredible experience we had. If you’re looking for a welcoming, authentic, and memorable stay in Wadi Rum, I highly recommend Shaheen and Hasan Zawaideh Camp. I would gladly return for another unforgettable adventure!
