The hotel was good, and both the receptionist were so helpful and had a good sense of humour. They were always ready to help., The only downside was we missed on goring in the pool as the Ph levels were high on the day we wanted to use. The breakfast was fresh and very good too

Decent location for one night stopover. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room pretty basic but all okay for what we paid. Downfall was the noise early morning, being woken to trucks beeping and reversing at 7am on a Sunday isn't my idea of a good night's sleep (which is all we really needed, this was the followed by trolleys clanking and banging, so think this is a real downfall to what should have been a nice little stopover. I advised the receptionist and she said it was the deliveries....which I understand are needed ....but not 7am on Sunday surely and if so some more thought for those sleeping. Sadly this affected my overall rating as really you pay to have a good sleep but I didn't get that.

Nice hotel, room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Would recommend for an overnight stay.

We booked for the Shrewsbury School speech day and leavers ball so the whole town was fully booked. Thankfully there was a suite available at my favourite local hotel. We needed a room for 3 and the hotel staff were super helpful in accommodating our needs. It’s family owned and the culture of care is pervasive. It’s a hotel where the staff like to say yes. Not to mention the character of the hotel itself. It’s a mixture of 12th, 15th and 17th century architecture forming an elaborate maze of rooms covering the block. The Matthews family have truly created a 5 star hotel experience. I was even offered a glass of sherry by the night watchman when I checked in on once at 1am. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Das Zimmer war für einen 50. Geburtstagsfeier lokal und so glücklich, das Zimmer war wunderbar mit schönen Blicken über den Dale-End Park und den Fluss Severn. Es war nur wegen der Verpflichtungen reserviert, so konnten Sie nicht zu dem Essen kommentieren, aber das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfreich und würde dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Very good location for Telford International Center Exhibitors , very easy access to show too close. But a bit old in the rooms and breakfast could be better & more options for sure

Clean, plenty of amenities that we did not have time to use unfortunately, location ideal for access to Telford Central Train Station

Zweiter Besuch in Löwen Quays. Excellent Hotel/ Spa Schönes Gebiet Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Aussichten sind wunderbar vom Langollen-Kanal. Wir essen im Restaurant, hatten Burger & Friesen, es war ehrlich gesagt der Beste Burger je !! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und es war eine schöne Touch, dass sie uns von unserem vorherigen Besuch erinnert hatten, das bedeutet viel & Sie fühlen sich ein wertvoller Kunde. Wäre definitiv empfehlen & wird definitiv sehr bald zurückkehren.

Der Postcode auf der Hoteladresse führte uns nicht zum Hotel. Es war schwer zu finden, da es in einem Immobilien war. Das Hotel ist nicht nahe der Straße. Das Zeichen beim Eingang der Straße ist nicht sehr bemerkenswert. Beim Ankunftstermin im Hotel sieht das Gebäude aus wie ein Manor von einigen Lizenzen, die ziemlich beeindruckend war. Check-in war reibungslos, aber es gab keinen Aufzug und wir mussten unsere schweren Gepäck ein paar Treppen und durch enge Korridore nehmen. Keine Porter oder Schneider zu helfen war ein wenig irritierend. Das Frühstück war Standard-Englisch-Freitag, das wie erwartet war. Grasflächen und viele große Bäume um das Hotel bieten ein entspannendes Gefühl. Es gibt ein separates Gebäude, das den Pool und den Fitnessraum verbringt. Diese Einrichtung war nicht ausschließlich für Hotelgäste und offen für Leute, die ihren Club beitreten. Leider am Tag meines Aufenthalts gab es dort viele Leute, so dass ich es eine Miss gab.
