I may struggle to say much about the hotel as I checked in, went our with my friend about 20 minutes later, came back, slept and checked out. I will say that the staff were very friendly and my room was clean. Only down side was that the windows are single-glazed so if there's outside noise it's pretty loud. The lifts are also small and you'd struggle to get three people with cases in one, but that's just a minor inconvenience. I was travelling by train so to be able to walk out of the station and straight into the hotel reception without crossing any roads was a big bonus.

I had a good stay with my girlfriend at The Tytherington. The only thing we were unhappy with was the food. It took about 1 hour to receive our food, and we were also told different information about the Kitchen closure time. Likely, we could give our order on time, but someone who was served after us was not able to. It seemed that on the day we visited, the kitchen staff was either short-staffed or had other issues. The staff behind the counter looked inexperienced, with only 1 or 2 who knew what to do, though they had too much to do already and couldn't assist. The view from their garden was great, over their golf pitch.

A nice stay at The Mill, food and service were great, the bar had a nice vibe…setting was relaxing, nice to see the ducks on the water…excellent location for walking into Chester. Room was very comfortable, staff were helpful and welcoming. Top marks go to Sam, absolutely first class, every guest was met with a smile and cheery attitude, nothing too much trouble, thank you Sam, you really are a breath of fresh air! Car park charge was not advertised previously so £12 a day was a surprise.

Erstbesuch in Chester und nahm eine Chance, wo zu bleiben. Wir lieben dieses Hotel und die Lage ist ideal an der Seite des Kanals mit einem kurzen Spaziergang bis zu 2 nebenan schöne pubs. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und entspannt mit dem Badezimmer auf der kleinen Seite, aber perfekt funktional. Das Personal ist erstaunlich und jeder von ihnen war sehr freundlich und willkommen. Wir haben am ersten Abend im Hotel gegessen und das Essen war gut. Ich würde dieses Hotel sicher empfehlen und hoffe, nächstes Jahr noch einmal zu besuchen.

The staffs are so friendly and helpful. The local is not too far from city centre. We walked to the city centre less than5mins, walk to city wall from the hotel about 15mins but if you walk faster it takes 7-8mins. The breakfast is great.

I appreciated the mini bar, which had complimentary water, adding a nice touch to my stay. **Room Service:** One downside was the room service hours, which ended at 10 PM. I arrived at 8:15 PM and was informed of this limitation, which felt a bit early for a hotel of this caliber. It would have been nice to have more flexible dining options during my stay. **Dining:** The hotel itself is stunning, and the grounds are a joy to explore. I had breakfast at the brasserie restaurant, where the attentive staff made a significant difference. The breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of delicious options that set a positive tone for my day. **Overall Impression:** While my stay had its ups and downs, the beautiful setting and the quality of the accommodations were highlights. I hope that the service experience can be improved for future guests, as that would truly elevate the stay. I would consider returning, especially for the lovely grounds and excellent breakfast, but I would hope for a more welcoming atmosphere next time.

Das Hotel Oddfellows war einfach, aber es hätte zuvor die genaue Adresse der Wohnung geholfen, so dass wir einfacher parkieren konnten. Es gibt einen Parkplatz im Apartment, aber es ist ein enger Eingang! Apartment 5 war oben und sehr geräumig. Die Lounge/Küche/Dinner war gut eingerichtet und der Tee und der Kaffee verfügbar war sehr willkommen. Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer waren groß, komfortabel und sauber (aber mit wenigen Hügeln für Handtücher oder Coats konnten). Es gibt sogar ein Waschraum. Decof ist wunderschön und die Lage ist großartig - nur von den Hauptstraßen. Fabelhafter Ort zum Aufenthalt.

Brilliant location, lovely old building. The fold out beds for kids are uncomfortable (worse than the ones at travel lodge or premmier inn). Don't bother with breakfast! Kept running out of things and didn't always replace them. Bacon inedible, sausages cheap, no nlack pudding even though it's on the menu and small portions. I would stay again but wouldn't add breakfast
