Incredible stay. The staff are amazing- especially the breakfast staff. Room clean and fresh and breakfast out of this world. They also give duck food to feed the swans and ducks after breakfast. They moved us to a quiet room as we were close to the lift. No issues at all. Price was amazing for 5 nights with breakfast. Can’t wait to come back.

Dies liegt daran, dass der Boden des Familienhotels einige Hänge aufweist, hauptsächlich aus Holz. Wenn das Auto die ganze Nacht zu nahe an der Straße ist, ist das Geräusch des Autos sehr stark und der Rest ist nicht gut.

Rooms are extremely light and clean, sturdy beds. On the hotels official website, it states the rooms air air conditioned, however, this is not true. When we asked the guy on reception, he tried to convince me that I’ve read it wrong and tried to make me out as being stupid, but it clearly states the rooms have aircon but only the reception/lobby has air con. The room was very comfortable, could do with having some netting as looks directly into the offices across the way, unless you close the curtains.

GGastnutzerI took my wife here for her 60th, amazing staff receptionist charlotte was warm and knowledgable, very kind giving us a token due to birthday.
The infinity pool is amazing warm clean, Shrigley would make much more money if they served drinks while in the pool, but we would still be there now.
The rooms are adiquate they are clean, the shower's are amazing, Dinning for evenning meal again was excellent, the service is 11/10 and I have been in a number of Spa the meal cost were really well priced with excellent food.
Breakfast in the morning self service again pleanty to choose from and again tasty with great choice.
It is a amazing spa with the ability toplay gold or have a number of treatments, and well priced, I will return there

DDrVicThe location of this hotel is great, very close to Chester and all the attractions around.
In terms of the room, our room was very spacious and the bed was very big. However it was two singles joined together, so a gap between the two.
This is probably where the good bits end. The size of the room and bathroom really was a positive though, especially travelling with a baby.
We had to pay £5 to hire a travel cot and in the end we didn’t use it. The cot mattress appears to have never been replace and was very thin and lumpy, making it redundant. The wooden slates at the bottom of the crib could be felt very dominantly through what was left of the mattress, meaning our baby was waking up uncomfortable and we had to transfer him to the bed.
In terms of things that could do with improvement:
Cleanliness
The room floor was very dirty and could have benefited from an additional vacuum. Initially I put this down to arriving on New Year’s Day and then having a lot of people check out that day, but the whole hotel appeared a little bit grubby on closer inspection.
The spa pool was exceptionally dirty. The floor coming out of the changing room covered in hair and general dirt. The showers looked like they hadn’t had a good scrub in months, with yellow build up all over the floor and walls. Not what you expect from a spa! To top it off after swimming I have contracted the Norovirus.
Service
Our first encounter with the reception staff was great the lady very welcoming and friendly. We met the cleaner as well who was also lovely. The rest of the staff we encountered were not so great. Either rude or disinterested, I get that it might not be your dream job but service with a smile goes a long way.
Facilities
The hot water takes a while to come through at busier times, this is signposted in the room. However, the water does not get very water at all. It does come through at a pleasant temperature, but not great if you like a bath or shower on the warmer side.
There are three times a day when you can go swimming with children. It would be great if these times were restricted to children/families only, as there were quite a few adults sitting around the poolside and in the hot tub.
Breakfast was ok, but a lot of the time left uncovered.
Overall not a great stay and would be unlikely to stay again.

GGastnutzerArrived at reception to a 30min wait due lots of people trying to book in and only two receptionists at the desk and one of these was dealing with problems. Which spoilt the start to our break. Once we arrived in our room which was above the restaurant we found the room 4133 outdated with veneer on the wardrobe peeling off. This is not what we would have expected from the reviews we had read.
reference the leisure complex swimming pool. which was clean but we found no instructions on how to operate the lockers and had to wait until someone came in. The breakfast and bar area are excellent.

GGastnutzerZum größten Teil ist dies ein schönes Hotel. Es kostete uns ungefähr 7 Pfund für ein Taxi nach Chester und die Zimmer sind sauber. Die meisten Angestellten sind unglaublich freundlich. Während wir tagsüber unterwegs waren, wurden unsere Schlüssel jedoch deaktiviert, um uns zur Rezeption zu zwingen, damit der Manager mich in die Enge treiben konnte, wo mein Auto geparkt war - was einem anderen Mitarbeiter beim Einchecken gesagt worden war und sie gesagt hatten, es sei nicht Kein Problem. Sie hatte ”den ganzen Tag” versucht, mich über das Telefon im Hotelzimmer anzurufen, was eine lächerliche Herangehensweise ist, denn wer sitzt den ganzen Tag in ihrem Zimmer? Wenn sie mich einfach auf meiner Handynummer angerufen hätte, mit der das Zimmer gebucht wurde, wäre ich gerne zurückgekommen und hätte das Auto bewegt. Sie forderte mich auf, es in diesem Moment zu verschieben, und ich erklärte, dass ich etwas getrunken hatte, aber ich würde es morgen früh verschieben. Sie sagte dann, sie würde mein Auto bewegen, was mir nicht wohl war. Sie ging dann von mir weg und erlaubte kein vernünftiges, erwachsenes Gespräch. Der Ton und die Haltung waren anklagend und ihre Frustration war eindeutig fehlgeleitet, als sie sich nicht realistisch bemühte, mich zu kontaktieren; wir waren bis 11 uhr im hotel und wie gesagt, ich hatte mein handy den ganzen tag dabei. Ich versuchte dem Personal an der Rezeption zu erklären, warum mein Auto dort war, wo es war, und dass ich es mit einem Rivalen besprochen hatte und mit einem ”naja, ich war nicht da, also weiß ich es nicht” entlassen wurde, dann grinste sie einen anderen Gast an . Es ist so schade, dass das den Aufenthalt für uns wirklich getrübt hat, da es völlig unnötig war.

GGastnutzerDas ist das zweite Mal, dass wir in diesem Hotel verblieben haben, und unsere Wahl war hauptsächlich auf seine bequeme Lage und ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Es ist sehr nahe am Flughafen und sehr ruhig am Abend, umgeben von Farmen und Grasland.
Wir lieben das Frühstück, weil es kein typisches Buffet ist. Stattdessen können Sie aus einem Menü mit einer großen Auswahl an Optionen, die alle wunderbar schmecken. Die Dekoration des Restaurants ist auch wunderschön, und Sie werden mehr als zufrieden mit den Portionen sein. Das Restaurantpersonal ist passioniert, freundlich und hilfreich.
Ein Punkt ist, dass die Rezeption oft umgeben ist, was nur eine Beobachtung und weder positiv noch negativ ist. Die Rezeptionisten tun immer ihr Bestes und sind sehr nett und professionell. Allerdings ist das Zimmerdesign ein wenig veraltet.

YYuki Wong 812The first arranged room in 311, the toilet seat cover is broken. And the next room was a dog kept barking. The reception staff rearranged another room for us shortly, their attitude is really good. But the room rearranged to 223 is in the basement, the air circulation is really not good, you can smell the strong pet smell in the hallway. And I can see the 3rd floor lift lobby had dog poo. To be honest, they were doing a dog exhibition, but they are not really well organized to avoid all the inconveniences caused. That’s not really fair to the customers who don’t expect those scenarios.
