Die Lage ist sehr praktisch und das ist wahrscheinlich auch alles. Wir waren in einer kalten, windigen Frühlingszeit dort (obwohl böige Winde in dieser Region höchstwahrscheinlich recht häufig vorkommen) und konnten vor Schrecken und Angst wegen des furchtbaren Klopfens der Fensterläden durch den Wind nicht schlafen. Ein Horrorfilm, nicht weniger. Es ist notwendig, die Balkontüren auszutauschen, insbesondere wenn man bedenkt, dass es sich um riesige Panoramatüren durch modernere Türen handelt. Die Kälte und das Klopfen haben mich wirklich daran gehindert, gut zu schlafen, und den Eindruck getrübt. Außerdem gibt es Zugluft und Kälte. Die Heizung funktionierte nicht: Wir mussten die Klimaanlage einschalten, um zu heizen. Die Reinigung ist normal. Das Zimmer ist veraltet, die Möbel sind fleckig und irgendwo ist Farbe, aber es war akzeptabel.

This stay was absolutely magnificent from arrival to departure, upgraded as we arrived at the hotel. The staff, incredible! Always doing more than asked, going out of their way to assist in making plans, arranging transport or just providing extra information. Shout out to Claudia, who was patient and articulate. She stopped her work in order to attend to me at all times. Shout out to Dewald, humorous, witty and exquisitely piquant. Always up for a conversation amd willing to make anything amd everything more convenient for the guests. Rennia and Alice, ebullient and light-hearted, i felt the care and meticulous nature of their work through all they did, and the smiles they provided, thank you! The entire staff, quite warm and accommodating! Clean room, aesthetically modern and quaint. 100% recommended, convenient location for all your needs!

Unsere Erfahrung in diesem Hotel ging über und über unsere wildesten Erwartungen hinaus! Die exquisite Lage des Hotels bietet Ihnen einen Balkonblick auf den Ozean und den majestätischen Tischberg als Hintergrund. Das Serviceniveau, das wir erhalten hatten, war wirklich außergewöhnlich, so dass wir uns gründlich beeindruckt. Die Zimmer waren unerwartet sauber und die Ausstattung war mehr als großzügig. Die Zimmer selbst treffen ein perfektes Gleichgewicht zwischen Raum und Küche, die eine wirklich einladende Atmosphäre schafft. Ein bemerkenswertes Merkmal, das dieses Hotel getrennt setzt, ist die komplimentäre Minibar, die eine Vielzahl von Snacks und Getränken – eine seltene Suche bietet. Noch bemerkenswerter ist, dass diese Snacks nicht nur lecker sind, sondern auch zu Vegan- und glutenfreien Präferenzen gepflegt sind. Wir planen zweifellos bereits, in Zukunft wieder in diese herausragende Einrichtung zurückzukehren.

Had a splendid 2 night stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff made us feel so welcome. They are exceptionally polite and well informed on the surrounding area. We were provided with a map full of helpful suggestions, and a thorough introduction to the lodge and all it's facilities upon check-in. The lodge is located right next to Hermanus New Harbour and a few steps from the cliff path, which is well worth the walk. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. It opens onto a beautiful, well maintained garden area but a few steps from the pool. Breakfast was fantastic (reccommend the Full English!), and a lovely selection of breads, cereals, fruits, cold meats, yogurts etc at the buffet. Truly, no complaints. Would absolutely stay again.

Прекрасный отель на берегу бухты, в номерах с видом на воду очень красиво. На входе стоит велком сладкое вино) В номерах каждый день проводят уборку и добавляют чай/кофе/воду и тп, единственное - грязный пол, возможно в ЮАР не принято снимать обувь, не знаю, но это единственное к чему можно придраться, босиком не походишь. Внизу прекрасный ресторан с морской кухней и очень вкусными устрицами. Возле отеля своя парковка частная, что тоже очень удобно. От отеля до пингвинов 5 мин на машине.

Nicely decorated lodge in safe neighborhood. Breakfast is good but choice is limited and same menu everyday, I stayed for 5 nights so it can get boring. Staffs are friendly and try to be helpful but lack follow ups. Cleanliness is good but my house keeping opened all my balcony door and toilet windows everyday after cleaning despite the fact that I requested them not to open any of them due to safety in Cape Town as well as bugs kept coming into my room with the wide open balcony and toilet. On the last night the house keeping even left their cleaning towel in my room on my night stand, and tried barging into my room with me being inside in early morning. Somewhat questionable on the high rating.

Perfection! I was pleasantly surprised when I received way more than expected! The attention to small details throughout this amazing venue really impressed me. Everything carefully and tastefully prepared for our convenience. Manageress Katie is extraordinary and made us feel like family with her home cooked 5-star quality perfect breakfasts. Will most certainly book this venue again whenever I go to beautiful Plettenberg Bay again! Real value for money & super affordable! Special thanks to Brigitte for spoiling me with the Whale room with the most stunning views even when the weather was cold & rainy. Amazing guesthouse/hotel in a great location, 20mins from the airport, 10mins walk from the beach, super clean and easy to find! Staff were the best, the breakfast each morning was sublime, walking up the tasty smells, and the range on offer was perfect! I was welcomed with a drink and a wet towel, given information about the guesthouse/hotel and about the area, plus shown to the coffee machine which is complimentary, with marshmallows and cream biscuits/cookies! Thank you again, loved the vibe of the place, loved the guesthouse, bed was huge and slept well, enjoyed my stay in Cape Town! Would definitely recommend this place, great home away from home as they say!

Sehr kleines Zimmer. Aber alle Einrichtungen sind, alles ist sauber. Ein großer Minus, der alle Vorteile getötet hat: der geurte Duft des Abwassers im Tau. Wenn die Tür offen ist, ist es unmöglich, im Zimmer zu sein. Schlaf mit der geschlossenen Tür. Aber am Morgen war es unmöglich, aufgrund dieser ins WC zu gehen. Es ist sehr unbehaglich. Ich glaube nicht, dass es ein Problem mit einem Zimmer ist!

What a gem this place is. I had four extra days after a conference in Capetown and booked here after a brief online search.  Karen and Dave have made this a lovely place to be.  As soon as I arrived they invited me to a beer at the cozy pub onsite, gave me great advice on who to book with for shark diving and whale watching… and then later hiking in DeKelders … My “room” as a solo traveler was really a condo— a living room with kitchenette, and then upstairs the bedroom. Good food, good wifi, and good conversation made the experience an A +. Lulu the friendly dog cements the deal to make the place feel like home.!
