The room we booked was converted from a mews, which was a completely new experience for us and quite surprising in an interesting way. Almost everything else was fantastic. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, and the breakfast was excellent — you really have to try the Indian spice omelette. They also serve coffee and tea to your table instead of self-service, which felt very decent and welcoming. The breakfast staff in particular were warm and attentive. However, because the room was converted from a mews, the facilities have some limitations. The ventilation is not good, and we experienced allergy symptoms after having the air conditioner on all night during winter. There was no proper heater in the room, so we had to rely on the air conditioner for warmth, and it took about 15–20 minutes to start working. Also, it did not feel very clean when in use. Another downside is that there is no real window — only the mews door — which makes the room feel a bit closed-in and affects air circulation. Overall, this hotel offers wonderful staff and an amazing breakfast, but the room facilities and ventilation, especially in the converted mews rooms, could be improved. If you are sensitive to air quality or prefer natural light and windows, I would recommend choosing other places or other rooms instead of the mews-style rooms.

Die Service-Personal ist freundlich, das Zimmer ist sauber und sauber, die Einrichtungen sind komplett und gut gepflegt. Betten, TV, Lagerung, Teeeinrichtungen, Haartrockner und Dusche waren fein, aber die Toilette war nicht gut schütteln und nur ein Aufzug funktionierte. Wenn Sie im vierten Stock mit Gepäck sind, wollen Sie nicht auf den Treppen steigen, aber die Menschen, insbesondere die Reinigen können Aufzüge abfangen und Sie schließen sich für die Alterszeit im Aufzug fest, weil es nicht zum vorgepressten Fußboden geht. Das Frühstück war gut und die Lage war gut, aber die Eincheckung war langsam. Der Empfangsmann fragte mich auch, wie ich meinen Nachnamen aussprechen und schreiben, der mich zum Lachen machte, weil es einer der häufigsten Nachnamen um diesen Wilson zu sein. Ich hatte Schwierigkeiten, sie zu verstehen. Es war ok, aber wenn ich wieder gehen würde, würde ich den Premierminister nächstes Mal wählen. Das war besser.

Our stay may have been coloured by the rainy weather because in sunnier times the views from the Leigh Park Hotel would have been even better. The train station to Bath from Bradford upon Avon is very walkable but it is downhill from the hotel (some very steep bits) nearly all the way and after a busy day in Bath we elected to get a taxi back the walk back up that hill would have put a downer on the day (and I normally do 4 mile runs twice a week, so I am pretty fit!) The room we had was really big, as was the bathroom. The shower was really powerful and got warm almost immediately. The staff were really friendly and the the ambience of the hotel was classy. The breakfast area looking out over the grounds was really nice and I'd definitely like to sit there and enjoy a drink on a summer's evening. I managed to charge my electric car with the type 2 charging station. Unfortunately, it only delivered 7 kW so I only managed a small top up. The hotel breakfast was self service but the containers that were holding the food failed to keep it particularly warm. That is something that could be improved. Also the breakfast choice could have been a little wider (e.g. no tomatoes were offered as part of the English Breakfast). Having said that the breakfast tasted good. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would consider visiting again.

This property is in the heart of downtown Swindon. A Salvation Army shares the building so there were always people hangin out in front. Never felt unsafe, just a bit seedy. Great location in the heart of downtown. Easy to walk to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean and did the job. Can't really complain for the price.

Erstaunliches Zimmer. Unglaubliche Einrichtungen.

Englische Häuser und englische Treppen eignen sich nicht für großes Gepäck, um nach oben zu gelangen. Englisches Frühstück ist in Ordnung, kostenlose Parkplätze. Das Zimmer ist in Ordnung, das Geschäft ist groß genug. Der Garten hinter dem Haus ist ruhig.

Der Manager war hilfreich und freundlich l. Er reservierte Taxis für Arbeit und sparte mein Essen im Kühlschrank für den nächsten Tag. Nett und warmer Ort, sehr authentische und ruhige Atmosphäre in der Umgebung Wärden Sie den Aufenthalt für eine erinnerebare Erfahrung .
