Our stay may have been coloured by the rainy weather because in sunnier times the views from the Leigh Park Hotel would have been even better. The train station to Bath from Bradford upon Avon is very walkable but it is downhill from the hotel (some very steep bits) nearly all the way and after a busy day in Bath we elected to get a taxi back the walk back up that hill would have put a downer on the day (and I normally do 4 mile runs twice a week, so I am pretty fit!) The room we had was really big, as was the bathroom. The shower was really powerful and got warm almost immediately. The staff were really friendly and the the ambience of the hotel was classy. The breakfast area looking out over the grounds was really nice and I'd definitely like to sit there and enjoy a drink on a summer's evening. I managed to charge my electric car with the type 2 charging station. Unfortunately, it only delivered 7 kW so I only managed a small top up. The hotel breakfast was self service but the containers that were holding the food failed to keep it particularly warm. That is something that could be improved. Also the breakfast choice could have been a little wider (e.g. no tomatoes were offered as part of the English Breakfast). Having said that the breakfast tasted good. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would consider visiting again.

Betten, TV, Lagerung, Teeeinrichtungen, Haartrockner und Dusche waren fein, aber die Toilette war nicht gut schütteln und nur ein Aufzug funktionierte. Wenn Sie im vierten Stock mit Gepäck sind, wollen Sie nicht auf den Treppen steigen, aber die Menschen, insbesondere die Reinigen können Aufzüge abfangen und Sie schließen sich für die Alterszeit im Aufzug fest, weil es nicht zum vorgepressten Fußboden geht. Das Frühstück war gut und die Lage war gut, aber die Eincheckung war langsam. Der Empfangsmann fragte mich auch, wie ich meinen Nachnamen aussprechen und schreiben, der mich zum Lachen machte, weil es einer der häufigsten Nachnamen um diesen Wilson zu sein. Ich hatte Schwierigkeiten, sie zu verstehen. Es war ok, aber wenn ich wieder gehen würde, würde ich den Premierminister nächstes Mal wählen. Das war besser.

Das Hotel wird modernisiert, das Zimmer sieht aus wie auf den Fotos, sehr freundliches Personal, exzellenter Service und Frühstück 😊

The hotel was well located as we visited friends in nearby Wootton Basset - reception was courteous and efficient in our check in… we asked for a room way from the lifts and this request was delivered. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Air conditioning worked perfectly given it’s been a very hot few days! Breakfast the following morning had plenty choices and tables were clean and cleared up quickly. Staff in restaurant were very efficient and courteous. Express check- in was good too. Overall a great stay and serves us well.

Beim Einchecken gab es Begrüßungsgetränke. Kinder konnten sich ebenfalls einen Snack und ein Getränk abholen. Der Service war gut, und wir werden in Zukunft wieder hier übernachten.

Excellent pleasant staff, lovely building including the river that runs at the back of the building and the position of where it is, slightly outside Salisbury a nice little stroll in with the Cathedral on your door step.

Das Frühstück ist lecker. Die Lage ist nach dem Besuch von Stonehenge bequem, aber die Rezeption kann uns die Basis für das Einchecken, zum Beispiel Zahnbürsten, Schütteln, so dass wir nicht nach dem Zutritt zum Zimmer fragen müssen

Englische Häuser und englische Treppen eignen sich nicht für großes Gepäck, um nach oben zu gelangen. Englisches Frühstück ist in Ordnung, kostenlose Parkplätze. Das Zimmer ist in Ordnung, das Geschäft ist groß genug. Der Garten hinter dem Haus ist ruhig.

Dieses Hotel hat hohe Standards für Reinigung und Service konsequent. Am bitter kalten Wochenende war das Zimmer ganz warm. In der Tat sehr komfortabel bed und keine Notwendigkeit für zusätzliches Bett. 2 kleine Fragen. Die Kissen waren etwas schlank, aber schön und das Restaurant serviert nicht Abendessen für unsere Liebe, aber insgesamt ausstehend !!! Ich kann nicht warten, um zurückzukehren.

I remember watching the hotel being built and said I would never stay there! How wrong I was! It's so quiet and very convenient for everything. Good choice of food for breakfast, even gluten free! The staff were always polite and helpful, replenishing food as it was used. Choice of coffee/tea. Can fully recommend this hotel and would/will definitely stay there again!
