"This is the second time I have stayed in the Leopold. It is a basic hotel, but delivers high-quality rooms, a good breakfast, and a perfect location for exploring Sheffield. The building is curious, as it is a converted school. It also opens directly (at the back) on to a pedestrian plaza with multiple bars and restaurants."

It was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

Great location, husband and father in law stayed the night before a visit to see the Vulcan. The room was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the food was superb (best fish & chips theyve had for a long time). They both had a great time and would definitely recommend.

We were surprised how nice the hotel is for the price we paid. I went with an old friend for a mid-week city break in Sheffield. The hotel is pretty close to theb train station and we walked there easily with our wheeled suitcases. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful The bathroom had a bath and a shower; the bedroom itself was a decent size. I don't think the electronic safe was working correctly, or maybe it was used error, not sure about that, lol. There was a fridge in the room which was great and unexpected; the wi-fi was also excellent. The staff were friendly, and we could get more coffee, tea and milk from reception. We didn't go to the gym or spa, we did go swimming and it's a lovely, big, well heated pool. There were also two steam rooms, a sauna, an ice room and a discovery shower (a hot or cold shower with four sprays and red and blue lights). There wasn't a machine to spin the swimwear in, but there were polythene bags for wet swimwear. A lovely touch in the gym reception was a coffee machine, where you could sit down and have a free cappucino or whatever your fancy is. We got the train to Meadowhall which took 5 mins and cost £2.90 return (with our senior rail cards). Some locals said the tram was even easier, but we found the train easy enough and very fast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a city break in Sheffield.

This is the 2ed time staying here for 2 nights the price is ok the room is clean you get free tea and coffee in your room the breakfast is good value for money I believe it’s 15 pounds per person there is lots of fresh fruit cereal, a cooked breakfast as much tea and coffee as you like we didn’t go into the park this time as I have been in the wildlife Park before with my daughter this time we were visiting family the wildlife Park is amazing the staff at the Hex Hotel are super friendly . And professional. The only thing I would say negative about the hotel is checking after 4 pm. And you have to be out of the room by 10 am. I think check-in should be from 2 pm then that gives you a little bit longer in the room and maybe check out 11 am but apart from that I can’t fault this place but if you want to do an earlier check-in, they charge you £30. And if you want to upgrade your room, they charge you £15 per night to upgrade. . The shower is absolutely amazing. You have a rain shower and a smaller shower. You get two massive bath towels, two hand towels also shower gel body cream soap. That are individually. I will definitely be coming back and staying again. A short taxi ride into Doncaster town Centre where there is lots of bars that play music if you’re into that there’s also a designer outlet not far from the hex hotel. .

From the moment I arrived, the check-in was smooth and welcoming, and that first warm cookie felt like a small but genuine gesture of care after a long journey. The location is convenient, close to the city centre yet peaceful enough to rest. It made moving between meetings and personal time easy, something I truly appreciated. The room was modern, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the lighting soft, and everything worked perfectly. It was not about luxury, but about thoughtful comfort that helps you recharge. Breakfast offered a good variety and the restaurant had a calm atmosphere that made mornings feel easy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help without being intrusive. What stood out the most was the consistency. Every part of the stay felt dependable and well cared for. That sense of steadiness made it easy to relax and focus on the purpose of the trip. Dies ist nicht mein erster Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel, aber leider hat sich der Kundenservice nicht verbessert. Sogar die Bestellung eines einfachen Getränks an der Bar wurde mit einem Stirnrunzeln quittiert. Ich übernachte hier nur, weil es für meine geschäftlichen Zwecke praktisch ist, aber es ist enttäuschend, dass das Personal so desinteressiert wirkt, was einen negativen Eindruck hinterlässt. Das Frühstück war trocken und unappetitlich, fast so, als würde man Steine ​​essen. Angesichts des Standards von Ibis-Hotels bin ich ziemlich schockiert über den schlechten Zustand und Service hier.

Really happy with the stay, we had a bit of an incident with a broken down car and my son arriving late to meet us, we asked if we could accomodate my son rather than him going to his shared accomadation. Reception couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was great, (especially the make your own waffles), rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Will definitely come back.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel in Sheffield! The location is unbeatable, right next to the beautiful Peace Gardens, making it perfect for a relaxing and convenient visit. The room was immaculate—new, modern, and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Dieses Hotel lieben ❤️ 2. Aufenthalt in diesem Jahr Ich kam für einen Geburtstagsbehandlung und Antonia auf dem Desk behandelt uns zu einem späten checkout und 2 kostenlose Getränke in der Bar! Großer Kundenservice. Die Betten sind die komfortablesten Betten, die ich in .... habe geschlafen, hätte es nach Hause genommen, wenn ich es konnte! Große Lage für den Zug Stationsstation und viele näher an den Parks, wenn Sie fahren. Die Bar hat eine gute Vibe verkauft eine Auswahl an Mäusen Bier einschließlich Camden Pale Ale. Gute Cifea auch zu vernünftigen Preisen. Die Bar-Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Alles, was Sie essen und trinken können, ist 10/10 und ist bis 11amnat am Wochenende ...perfekt nach einer großen Nacht aus Wäre definitiv empfehlen 👌

Das Zimmer war voll von Staub, das Badezimmer hatte auf dem Gräben geformt, Klimaanlage/ Heizung war gebrochen, Duschegel und Shampoo wurden fast nur Wasser gewässert, hatte eine Funktion auf, aber klang wie die Party war in unserem Zimmer, obwohl es 2 Stockwerke unterging, Nachbarzimmer kann sie hören reden und intim werden. Das Zimmer war Tin Pot kleine und gefroren kalt ...war so enttäuscht, wie es dort vorher für viel weniger als ich bezahlte diese Zeit geblieben war und das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, so das Gefühl extrem abnehmbar diese Zeit und Hubby hat nie wieder zu kommen Dieses Hotel.
