Very xmasy and festive. Overall we had a lovely stay however very expensive and some small things. You needed to prebook restaurants and spa which meant we were unable to use spa, and certain restaurants as we booked the trip on the morning and no reservations left, had to have room service which took over hour and half for sandwiches and no hot food after 22:30. Breakfast good although very long wait 40 mins on day of departure we used the signature restaurant as Olive/main restaurant even busier. The bar with singer and Musician was relaxing and offered just what we were looking for but min of £16 each per cocktail is steep. We used the signature lounge for a free prosecco (between 4-6) on day of arrival but closed early so never used again. Small things in room- never replenished water or Welsh cakes or wine which we upgraded for. No corkscrew and phone didn’t work to call housekeeping, found staff member and waited an hour and it still didn’t arrive so we took the wine to get it opened. Can’t connect to screen play if using apple, only android? No flannels in bathroom and no bubble bath for the bath which was a shame. Mostly friendly staff although some on reception had a slight attitude when we asked for basics like water. Concierge was helpful and friendly. Bar and restaurant staff attentive. We would go back (already visited before) and ask for upgrade to signature rooms.

Honestly, I’m not even gonna lie Mercure Hotel in Newport is such a wonderful place! From the moment we arrived, the receptionist who attended to us was super lovely. She explained everything about our voucher clearly, and even when we had to go back downstairs to ask her something (because I wasn’t really paying attention but my man was 😅), she was still so patient and kind. The whole experience was amazing. I had a really great night the bed was super comfy, the food and dinner at the lounge were delicious, and the service throughout was top-notch. Breakfast the next morning was also soooo good! The hotel was spotless, the vibe was calm, and everything felt just perfect. I genuinely recommend Mercure Newport to anyone planning to stay in the area. Whether you’re visiting or you already live in Newport, you have to experience how clean, luxurious, and peaceful it is. It’s such a relaxing and cozy environment! 🖤✨

Pretty negative experience on this one  Arrived at hotel 11.45am after a 20 hour travel expecting to be able to check in any time after 11am as advised by trip  Was told by hotelier that this was not possible or the case and blamed trip  After expressing our dissatisfaction asked if we could leave the luggage response being yes for a £5 charge  We declined this  Then we were told we could check in at 12 for an additional  £25 to which we declined  So knackered we walked off with our luggage to a local pub  Did get a phone call to say that there was a room so checked in by 1pm  So all in all we were not happy at all  Hotel is ok in central location  Nothing bad nothing great about it hardly what I’d class as a deluxe room  View in photo  Decent breakfast but probably would not visit again due to our experience  So all in all 5 out of 10 experience 😞

Schönes großes Bett , schönes Zimmer , Bad definitiv muss die Upgrade , die Griffspur auf der Seite des Badezimmers wurde berüstet und ausgesetzt Metall , Dusche Diale sind antiken, könnte definitiv mit Plug-Sockets auf den Seiten des Betts zu ändern Ihr Telefon etc , keine Luftkonstruktionen aber es herausgefunden , in den Fenstern nass am Morgen, aber das ist normal angesichts der Zeit des Jahres , Gemälde um die Haupttür war flach aus, so braucht ein wenig Wartung , Aber es hat keine schlechten Gefühle im Ausland Aufenthalt überhaupt gesetzt , nur wenige Dinge zu betonen , das Personal war wunderschön und freundlich , Hotel im Allgemeinen war fantastisch , hervorragendes Frühstück serviert Buffet-Stil , Zimmerservice war einfach und die Mahlzeiten waren lecker mit vernünftigem Preise und Personal waren groß , würde sicherlich wieder bleiben war ein großes Valentins-Weekend , danke jedem dort

Modern clean business hotel. Average buffet breakfast is extra £13 served from 06:30 weekdays and 07:00 at weekends. Evening menu felt limited choice and pricey. Great rain head shower. Really comfy bed, duvet & pillows. Unfortunately parking is extra £12 per night which I couldn't find advertised upon booking and just feels greedy!

USB-Socken, Leselampen und -lampen, Samsung 32” Smart TV kompatibel mit Mobiltelefonen, Tabletten und PC/Laptop. Desk mit Desklampe und Gepäckspeicherung zusammen mit offenem Schrank und Bettwäsche/Einheit. Große Vollgröße Spiegel. Das Queen-Size-Bett ist komfortabel und hat viele Kissen/Betten. Das Badezimmer ist eines der besten, die ich in Hotels mit modernen und sauberen Ausstattung gesehen habe. U-Bahn-Fliesen mit Chrom-Bearbeitungsgeräten, großes Bad mit Wasserfall Dusche und über Bad Dusche für, wenn nur Ihre Haare waschen benötigt. Große mit Licht und großer Platz für die Toiletten usw. Handtücher und Türhaken alle komplett das besser als die meisten Badezimmer. Toiletten und Toiletten, Handwasch- und Kettelfegel und Schmuck, Brille, Qualitätshänge und die Aufmerksamkeit auf Details schaffen alle ein gutes Zimmer. Das Hotel fließt auf das pub/Restaurant. Dass man Grüne König ist das Essen ist alles gut. Eine umfangreiche Lebensmittel- und Getränke-Menü. Einfache und benutzerfreundliche App ermöglicht die Bestellung von Ihrem Tisch für Lebensmittel und Getränke. Insgesamt ist die Bequemlichkeit sowohl des Hotels als auch der Bar mit guter Service und guter Wert ein sehr empfehlenswerter Ort, um zu bleiben, ob Sie hier für Geschäfts-, Freizeit- oder nur eine Nacht oder zwei R&R The New Inn @ Green King immer das Marke schlagt. Wenn Sie Frühstück mit Zimmer haben, ist es im Restaurant mit heißen & kalten Optionen Continental und Full English serviert. Sowohl perfekt präsentiert und Qualitätsprodukte. Parkplatz für Gäste ist kostenlos und die Eingabe der Auto-Registrierung vermeidet nach Aufenthaltsgebühren.

Some of the frontline staff charged me a different card payment than the booking agent had agreed to. This made me feel very confused. Fortunately, their senior management, Mr. Deepy, listened patiently to my explanation and understood my discounted room rate. He explained everything clearly and eased my worries. After a few days, the card was finally charged correctly.

Nice hotel, comfy rooms, good base for Newport and Cardiff area. Homely, family vibe.  Have been before and would return. Great cooked breakfast with fried bread!

Großes Zimmer, großes Personal und große Lage im Herzen von Caerleon. Auch hat eine der besten Restaurants in der Umgebung. Sehr empfehlenswert
