I found what looked like an engorged tick or bedbug crawling up my bed. The hotel is pretty and I booked it for 1 night as a luxury treat so I could get a good rest for my layover stop to another destination. My room smelt like stale smoke unfortunately, though I had asked for non-smoking. I paid extra on my booking for breakfast and had to wake up at 6am, eat breakfast at 6.30am and go to the airport at 7.20am. My room had a bathtub so I took a bath before bedtime and went to bed at midnight, I got up to go switch the lamp off at 1am and found this bug crawling up the side of my bed going towards me. I think it's either a tick or a bed bug, the body was full of blood. It had 6 or 8 legs, difficult to see but I took a video which doesn't allow me to upload. I don't have any problems with normal bugs such as spiders, but if it is a tick or bedbug it is a big problem. I was really worried there were more hiding inside the bed, I called reception for help and they looked at the bug which I caught in a glass cup. They apologised deeply and changed my room, so I had to move at 1.30am. I explained I was already tired and have to wake up early. In the new room I was unable to sleep as I kept worrying about bed bugs. I got up multiple times to check my bed. And there was a noisy couple next door talking loudly until very late so I couldn't sleep. For a luxury hotel you should not need to loose a whole night's sleep because you are worried about bedbugs or ticks biting you. Nor should be able to hear noise from other guests through the wall. I was extremely exhausted the next day and did not have any appetite. I asked if they could refund the extra I paid for breakfast because I couldn't eat it, but they said it wasn't possible. So I forced myself to try eat 1 egg and some small rice porridge but couldn't finish it. Really expensive to pay for breakfast and hardly eat, it's a shame they couldn't refund the breakfast considering I had no sleep. For a 5* hotel, I would like to have good rest and peaceful sleep. But it was not like that. The staff were very kind and helpful, but it's not so easy to travel here alone. It was not easy to book a taxi for the following morning to the airport and it took 40 minutes of assistance, the man was very kind and helpful, but the hotel should make an easier system for foreign guests to book taxi. When I first arrived in Jinan airport, I had no idea how to get to the hotel. There is no ATM inside the hotel so you cannot withdraw cash, and you cannot pay with foreign card to book a taxi. The shangri-la website did not provide any details for public transport. It simply said bus transfer was available but did not say which number bus. I would give the details here but I have forgotten the route name and bus number now as it was hectic and I was very tired, sorry. I had to waste a lot of time trying to ask for help at the airport as the staff did not speak English. Luckily someone helped me. The bus will cost 20yuan and take you into the centre where you will see the intercontinental hotel and a large shopping mall on the left side of the bus, get off at that stop, it takes 1 hour. From there it's only 5 minutes walk to shangri-la. For a big hotel they should provide easy instructions on the website to guests. The staff apologised deeply for the bug on the bed, and offered 10% reduction of the room rate. Although when I checked out no refund was given and they didn't mention anything about it, I think they just charged full price. Personally I think 10% is not enough anyway. Nobody wants to change rooms at 1.30am because of bugs crawling on the bed. I didn't get any sleep at all and felt itchy because I kept thinking about bugs and couldn't eat the breakfast. I was absolutely exhausted the following day so I was unable to do anything at my next destination and had to waste 1 day more to rest. Unfortunately not an easy experience at the shangri-la.

Zuerst kümmerte sich Nicky um mich bei der Eincheckung und gab mir ein besonderes Geschenk und Erfahrung. Und Nicky ist wunderschön. Kimi war auch ein großes Mitarbeiter für mich während der Abreise. Er gab mir eine Teddy-Bär. ⭐️ Danke an NICKY und KEMI. ⭐️

fantastic hostel, a little tricky to find at first because it's on the 19th floor of another hotel building, but the amenities were great. the hostel is sleek and clean, and the view was gorgeous from the communal areas. staff were so so friendly as well. there's also a night market nearby. would stay here again!

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer, neben dem St. Regis Hotel und der Haitian Mall. Es ist nicht weit vom May Fourth Square und MixC entfernt, etwa zwanzig Minuten zu Fuß oder eine kurze Taxifahrt. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und das Meeresfrüchte-Dinnerbuffet bietet ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mit frischen Meeresfrüchten und einer großen Auswahl an Speisen und alkoholischen Getränken. Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich; bei der Ankunft halfen sie mit dem Gepäck bis aufs Zimmer und beim Abschied trugen sie es aktiv zum Auto. Bei der Ankunft gab es Laoging-Getränke und kleine Geschenke und es wurden viele Flaschen Wasser zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Zimmerservice reagierte schnell. Als an unserem Abreisetag Straßen wegen eines Marathons gesperrt waren, wurden wir proaktiv informiert, um Verspätungen zu vermeiden. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

The hotel is extremely luxurious and designed beautifully. But the service is TERRİBLE. No one speaks english… there is no food available for room service. İ wanted to drink a beer and they told me to go to the supermarket. İ wanted to order room service after 20.30 they told me no english and hung up on my face. After 10 mins 2 people came to my room telling me they dont have room service, after 20.30 even though the menu said 24 hours. The next day i tried to order at 16.00 and they told me it starts at 18.30… the design and the quality of the hotel is maybe the best ive seen in my life but the service is 0/10 … no cola to drink no food to eat .. i would not reccomend if you want to spend a lot of time in it.

In diesem Jahr hat es einige Tage gedauert, um Komfort und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in vielen Hotels mit Meeresräumen zu finden. Es ist sehr schwierig, weil alle großen und kleinen Hotels dieses Jahr ** auf dem Paket fertig sind, wettbewerbsfähig und das Rote Meer ist ein Stück. Jetzt auf der Rückfahrt nach Peking zusammengefasst, was zu essen und zu leben ist. Ich bin froh, dass ich ein wirklich zufriedenes Hotel gefunden habe. Diese Reise hat kein altes Fünf-Sterne-Hotel gewählt, die eigene Sicht herausgefordert und ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass es sehr erfolgreich war. Zunächst ist das Hotel sehr sauber und die Ecke sind sauber. Ich habe wirklich viel Vorbereitungen gemacht, kann nicht benötigt werden, weil es wirklich sauber ist. Zweitens ist das Frühstück großartig. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und die Dinge sind frisch. Kaffee ist sehr gut und die Milch ist auch sehr gut. Ich bin empfindlich und die Milchqualität ist fast sofort zu reagieren. Ich habe hier drei Nächte gelebt, drei Frühstückstage gegessen, und ich habe das Eisen sehr komfortabel gegessen, der Geschmack ist bakteriell, der Käse ist dicht. Sehr gut. Die für das Frühstück zuständige Freude ist auch aufmerksam. Die Ergänzung ist sehr rechtzeitig, ich werde nicht warten, ohne zu ergänzen. Die Bühne ist jederzeit sauber und sauber. Das Begrüßungsgetränk in anderen Hotels ist Fruchtsaft. Sie geben Tsingtao-Bier direkt an Erwachsene. Kinder haben Saft, Luftballons und Seifenblasenpistolen. Die Hygiene ist gut, das Badezimmer ist mit Einweg-Gesichtstüchern aus Baumwolle ausgestattet und auch das Toilettenpapier ist das gleiche. Es ist kinderfreundlich, der Service stimmt, in der Lobby gibt es Freibier und die Eltern sind super zufrieden. Das Hotel liegt sehr nah am Strand. Ich werde das nächste Mal wiederkommen und es bereits meinen Freunden geschenkt haben.

Ich war zum ersten Mal im Hyatt Regency Shangang und war insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Die Hotellobby ist sehr großzügig, und der Strand befindet sich im Erdgeschoss, sodass Kinder bequem im Sand und im Wasser spielen können. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ebenfalls sehr günstig. Die gebratenen Brötchen, Wan Tans und Teigtaschen waren alle köstlich. Auch das Obst war sehr frisch. Der Porridge war allerdings etwas zu wässrig. Die Rezeptionistin, Frau Wei, war sehr hilfsbereit und beantwortete alle meine Fragen schnell. Ich werde bei meinem nächsten Qingdao-Besuch wieder hier übernachten.

Dieser Aufenthalt hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen! Ich hatte ursprünglich ein Superior-Zimmer gebucht, wurde aber vom Hotel kostenlos in ein Deluxe-Zimmer mit Meerblick upgegradet. Das Zimmer war geräumig und der Balkon bot einen herrlichen Meerblick. Es war sauber und komfortabel, mit allem Komfort ausgestattet, und der Hotelservice war sehr aufmerksam. Das Hotelambiente erinnerte an ein Märchenschloss, und das Frühstück bot eine große Auswahl und schmeckte hervorragend.
