I absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, and the views were nice. I only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the peaceful atmosphere. My room was cozy and relaxing, and I especially loved the bathtub which was perfect for unwinding after a long day. The infinity pool was another highlight with gorgeous ocean views, though it was a bit on the cool side. I do wish it had been heated, but it was still a beautiful spot to relax. Room service was great too! Good selection and reasonably priced for a hotel. Cons: On my last day, I treated myself to a 90-minute aromatherapy massage at the spa. Unfortunately, I’d rate the spa a 5/10. Living in Thailand has definitely spoiled me with incredible massages, so I admit my standards are high! Still, I think the spa could use a bit of a refresh. The rooms smelled a bit old and weren’t very visually appealing. It was also quite cold during the body scrub and massage, which made it hard to fully relax. Breakfast was okay, but I wish there were more Western-style options available. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. Everything about the hotel itself was lovely, I’d just skip the spa next time!

A Hidden Gem – Perfect Honeymoon or Quiet Getaway This place is truly a hidden gem. It was the perfect spot for a honeymoon couple or anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway. Travel tip: From Colombo, you can catch a direct bus to Nuwalapitiya. We didn’t know this and went via Kandy, which made the journey longer than necessary. If we had known, we would have taken the direct bus—it’s much easier. Ps:The bus ride is phenomenal—very beautiful views along the way and very cheap. The property is located on a hill and is naturally beautiful, surrounded by trees and birds whose songs make the atmosphere even more serene. It does get a bit cold at night, but it was the perfect kind of chilly—cozy and refreshing. Our room had an amazing view, making it even more special. The stay itself was perfect for our honeymoon: very cozy, comfortable, and clean. The staff were amazing, especially one gentleman at the restaurant (I didn’t catch his name, but I want to mention him). He went above and beyond to help us and was incredibly sweet and warm-hearted—it really made our stay special. A small note: we noticed the pool looked a bit dirty, which some other reviews also mentioned. However, it was clarified in the pool area that they use natural spring water without chemicals, so this is expected and actually a great eco-friendly approach. But This hotel needs some love because this is a very nice place. Another small note: there were some insects, like cockroaches, but that’s expected when staying on a hill in the middle of nature surrounded by trees. Overall, this was a truly wonderful experience and a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!!

Das Hotel ist schön, geräumig schönes Zimmer bei der Kontrolle in uns wurde zu einem frischierenden Saft behandelt. Es gibt einen großen Pool auf den Boden und ein großes Jacuzzi mit heißem Wasser im Zimmer.  Minus des Hotels: Von den Attraktionen entfernt. Taxi vom Zentrum nur dorthin zum Preis von mir zu nehmen x2. Hotel Taxi sind 3 mal teuer. Es gibt keine Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Nähe des Hotels, so in den Hotelpreisen für Lebensmittel x3, auch nach 6:00 Uhr ist es gefährlich, außerhalb zu sein, weil Elefanten um. Jetzt reden wir über den Prämienstatus und die fünf Rennen. In 7 Jahren Reisen ist das erste Hotel, das keine Badewanne, Slips und Zahnbürste und Zahnpasta im Zimmer hatte. Die Blei in der Dusche leckt und die Türen schreien so viel, dass man die Geister in der Nacht anrufen könnte. Was die Aufmerksamkeit des Kunden betrifft, habe ich meinen nächsten Geburtstag in Gesprächen mit dem Manager erwähnt, aber diese Tatsache wurde nicht in irgendeiner Weise verwendet, um irgendeine Aufmerksamkeit vom Hotel zu zeigen. Das ist eine große Fehlerberechnung der Mitarbeiter eines Premium Hotels. Wir hatten auch eine späte Abreise und unsere Aufforderung zur Verspätung im Hotel für ein paar Stunden wurde abgelehnt. Dies war nicht auf die Ankunft neuer Kunden zurückzuführen, da der Manager unseren Aufenthalt für eine Gebühr verlängert hat. Für künftige Kunden kann dies bei ihrer Wahl entscheidend sein. Das Hotel ist im Allgemeinen nicht schlecht, aber der Service und die Flexibilität des Personals sowie der individuellen Ansatz gegenüber den Kunden entsprechen nicht dem Prämienniveau und erfordern Verbesserungen.

Die Eigentümer und Mitarbeiter dieses Hotels sind so, so wunderschön. Leider ist ihr Hotel nicht. Ich fühle mich fast gefangen, da viele der Fotos die Bar und Pool-Party-Atmosphäre hervorgehoben. Das war nicht der Fall - der Pool war eine anständige Größe, aber im Schatten und ich sah eigentlich niemanden in ihm. Die Poolparty-Shots, die ich sehr verdächtige, waren vielleicht nicht eine echte Quelle. Das gleiche gilt für die Bar, die massiv ist und von mehreren schönen jungen, langweilig gentlemen besucht wird, als ich beide Male auftauchte (einmal zum Abendessen) Ich war der einzige Patron. Noch keine Partyatmosphäre oder sogar Menschen - das ist eine Schande, wie es eine große Ort ist. Glücklicherweise war die nächste Tür ein weiteres Ort für einige anständige Cocktails und Musik, die die Mühe etwas retteten. Das Schlafzimmer war eine anständige Größe mit einem kleinen Kühlschrank (aber nicht funktioniert), das Badezimmer war klein, fühlte sich schmutzig, keine Handsaft oder Seife für die Dusche (außer den übrigen früheren Bewohnern - und das war grob). Der Druck war schlecht, was die Dusche schwierig machte und es gab Plaster auf dem Boden von einigen Schäden - nicht gereinigt. Das Bett war massiv und komfortabel mit Klimaanlage und ein Fan so gut schlafen. Schließlich, und wiederholen, waren die Mitarbeiter wunderschön. Sehr Gastfreundlich und die Lage ist etwa zehn Minuten zu Fuß zum Heiligen Zahntempel und Kandy Lake. So großartig Lage. Ich würde noch einmal dort bleiben - nein. Ich würde gern den Besitzern und der nächsten Tür für einen Cocktails hello sagen - vielleicht!

Das Zimmer ist massiv. Das Essen ist auch gut, aber es gab eine Zeremonie über die Straße, und es war so laut. Versuchen Sie nicht, ein Ecke oder ein Zimmer vor der Straße zu nehmen, wie ich diese Zeremonie oft gehört habe. Ansonsten ist das Personal sehr hilfreich und ich genossen meinen Aufenthalt.

Thank you for the upgrade to the room with a balcony, and I absolutely love the huge bathroom. Thank you for the friendly service staff who answered my every query. Waking up to the quiet of Kandy Lake before the rest of the city wakes was a really peaceful feeling and I really enjoyed just standing on tje balcony soaking in the sights. Loving the wide breakfast spread too, ranging from local fare to continental selection. I was spoilt for choice and my tummy really loved the chicken curry & daal. Thank you.

Das Hotel verfügt über drei separate Schwimmbads, darunter ein unendliches Schwimmbad, das sich mit dem See vereint scheint und eine atemberaubende Aussicht bietet. Ess im Heritage Kandalama ist eine kulinarische Freude. Das Restaurant Kanchana bietet ein umfangreiches Buffet mit einer Vielzahl von Sri Lankan und internationalen Gerichten, während es einen Panoramablick auf die Umgebung bietet. Während unseres Aufenthalts zeigten das Personal konsequent aufmerksam und professionell, um sicherzustellen, dass jeder Aspekt unseres Besuchs bequem und erinnerebar ist. Heritage Kandalama ist mehr als nur ein Hotel; es ist eine Erfahrung, die die Harmonie zwischen Luxus und Natur feiert.

Wir lieben dieses Hotel bis zum Punkt, an dem wir wieder nach Kandy zurückkehren würden, hier zu bleiben! Das Personal war alle freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell, das Hotel und die Zimmer waren alle sauber und gut gepflegt und das Essen sowohl beim Abendessen als auch beim Frühstück war lecker. Insgesamt haben wir hier gern bleiben und wünschen, wir hätten länger bleiben können. *Wir haben auch einige Schmuck vom Geschäft im Hotel gekauft, was auch gut war.

We feel annoying because someone wrip the floor at 0630 with a lot of noise. Extra bill when check out. A bill for dinner buffet which we did not attend. Your staff did not listen to us and insist we eat the buffet and they said CCTV can see us there. At the end, we wait for half hour and the did not show the CCTV and let us go. When we settle the bill for 2 dinners we have, the wifi connection is not good and your staff say they did not receive the pament and ask us the pay cash. At the end, we find the bill already settle by credit card. And we need to go back to the hotel and they still say hotel did not recieve the payment and ask us to check with our bank.
