GGastnutzerDer Service war, wie von Griechen erwartet, ausgezeichnet und hilfsbereit.
Die Lage des Hotels ist zentrumsnah und sehr zufriedenstellend.
Die Einrichtungen waren gut, allerdings zur Frühstückszeit etwas überfüllt.
Am ersten Tag hatten wir ein Problem mit dem Duschwasser. Es lief aus der Tür, wodurch der Badezimmerboden sehr nass wurde. Das Problem wurde jedoch sofort behoben.
Wir hatten Mücken im Zimmer, und nachdem wir uns beschwert hatten, stellten sie uns eine Mückenfalle zur Verfügung. Das Problem mit den Mücken ist kritisch, da die Haut meiner Tochter sehr empfindlich ist und jeder Stich zu schlimmen Entzündungen führen kann, was bei ihr genau passiert ist.
Am letzten Tag gab es kein heißes Wasser, also musste ich mit lauwarmem Wasser duschen.

GGastnutzerEin sehr schöner und angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Der Service war zufriedenstellend, allerdings wurden die Kaffeekapseln nicht täglich aufgefüllt, was angesichts des Hotelstandards schade und etwas geizig war.

AAbdullahDa es unsere Flitterwochen waren, war dies unsere erste Buchung und es war nahezu perfekt. Die Lage war nicht ideal, da es abgelegen war, aber das Hotel war sehr schön und hatte alles, was wir brauchten.

SSarah JanesThis place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example).
The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible.
Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log.
Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense.
Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

We stayed at the Nea Makri Seafront Hotel for three nights with my three children, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel itself is modern, spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely excellent.
The buffet breakfast was a real highlight — generous, fresh, and with plenty of variety to keep everyone satisfied. There was never a shortage of food, which made mornings relaxing and stress-free.
One thing to note is that the snack bar and dinner options at the hotel were noticeably more expensive than what we’ve experienced in other parts of Greece. The same goes for the supermarket just across the road. While convenient, it was also overpriced in comparison.
The location of the hotel is a bit isolated, especially if you don't have a car. We found there wasn’t a lot to do or explore nearby, which was a bit disappointing during a three-night stay. That said, this is more about the area than the hotel itself, and not something the hotel can control.
What truly made the stay memorable was the incredible staff. I want to give a special thanks to Evi (Evie) at the front desk — she was so kind, helpful, and welcoming, and she made a real effort with my children, which meant a lot. Also, a heartfelt thank you to the gentleman on reception at 5am on the day we checked out. My son had accidentally left his phone in the taxi to the airport, and this man went above and beyond by contacting the driver and arranging for the phone to be returned. We were so grateful.
Overall, a wonderful hotel with top-tier service. While the location may not be ideal without a car, the comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional staff more than made up for it. Thank you again to everyone who made our stay so welcoming and stress-free.

Location: Outside of “central” Athens but easily connected by metro & buses. Kifisia is gorgeous, safe, filled with high end boutiques, restaurants + cafes.
Room/Ambience: Hotel itself is stunning + very relaxing vibe. Decor details incredible as expected of a boutique hotel of this nature.
Food: Very good selection of hot + cold, plus actual barista coffee. Do not expect American style breakfast - this is Europe after all. We did not eat lunch or dinner but the menus looked great and was filled with locals in the evening.
Service: Although reception staff were sufficiently friendly, service very lacking for a high end boutique hotel. It was 26 degrees celsius every day while in Athens. Not prior to our stay, nor during check-in did anyone advise us that the pool was closed likely until end of May. This is not advertised on any booking platform, or on the hotel website, which was very disappointing. We sat in the pool lounge chairs for over two hours (staff saw us as the restaurant is immediately adjacent). Nobody offered us pool towels to lie on, or if we wanted to order any drinks or food. My partner had to get dressed, go to reception and ask. They didn’t even offer to clean the pool given the hot weather made it ready for use. It really put a downer on our stay, and why we opted not to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Similar experience at breakfast; nobody offered us coffee orders, we heard someone else order and realised it was available.

JJtownDer Flughafen Athen ist seit Langem mein Tor zwischen Irland und Israel, und das Sofitel ist die einzige wirklich komfortable Option für einen Zwischenstopp mit Übernachtung. Die Lage ist unschlagbar – man verlässt einfach das Terminal, überquert drei Zebrastreifen und ist schon in der Lobby.
Das Hotel ist definitiv 5-Sterne-Standard und das merkt man an Sauberkeit und Komfort. Das Zimmer war makellos sauber und ruhig, und ich habe den kostenlosen Kaffee und das Wasser sehr geschätzt. Allerdings sind die Preise hoch. Normalerweise kostet es etwa 400 € pro Nacht für zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind, ich konnte aber unter der Woche für etwa die Hälfte buchen. Immer noch teuer, aber ich wollte Komfort – und den habe ich bekommen. Bei der Buchung war nicht eindeutig ersichtlich, ob ein Zustellbett für mein Kind inklusive ist, und weder Trip noch das Hotel haben auf meine Nachricht geantwortet. Letztendlich haben wir das Bett aber ohne Aufpreis bekommen. Das Frühstück ist nicht im hohen Preis inbegriffen, und 30 € pro Person erschienen mir übertrieben, also haben wir darauf verzichtet. Auch die Speisenauswahl ist überteuert – 22 € für einen „griechischen Salat“, der seltsamerweise mit Ricotta serviert wurde. Wir haben uns schließlich bei Burger King am Terminal etwas zu essen geholt – deutlich günstiger. Der Innenpool war sauber, aber das Wasser kälter als erwartet und er recht klein. Die Dusche hatte schwankende Wassertemperaturen, was zwar etwas nervig, aber für eine Nacht akzeptabel war. Insgesamt: Für ein Flughafenhotel ist es sehr praktisch und komfortabel, aber die Preise für Essen und Extras sind meiner Meinung nach übertrieben.

Sehr nettes Personal am Pool auf dem Dach. Kein Schatten am Pool verfügbar (ich verstehe, dass sie wegen des Windes keine Sonnenschirme aufs Dach stellen können, aber beim Pool auf Ebene 1 im Innenhof verstehe ich das nicht). Wenn Sie nicht nach einer Geduldsprobe suchen, meiden Sie das.

MMohammadService was really good, needed a late checkout and they were happy to accommodate this. Room was spacious and clean with great views from roof. Only downside is most attractions are north of hotel which is either a 30min walk or 10min drive by Uber. However, Uber fares are cheap around €6-8.
