Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt großartig. Das Zimmer war sauber und günstig gelegen, in der Nähe aller Sehenswürdigkeiten, die wir besuchen wollten, wie zum Beispiel dem Mactan-Schrein, dem Cebu Yacht Club und vielem mehr. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder oder probieren vielleicht das Belmont Hotel aus, da es zur selben Hotelgruppe gehört. Vielen Dank an das Savoy Hotel Newtown für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt von fünf Nächten!

Der Hotelstrand ist fantastisch und es gibt kostenlose Kajaks und Paddleboards. Ein Tag dort ist unglaublich entspannt. Vom Alona Beach Tutu aus kostet es 200 NT$, aber durch die Entfernung ist es ruhiger, was ich super finde. Der riesige Kokosnusshain ist wunderschön! Die Zimmer sind etwas veraltet, die beiden Pools sind klein, was ein Nachteil ist, und das Internet ist langsam! Das Frühstück war nicht besonders gut, aber das ist nicht nur für dieses Hotel, sondern für philippinisches Essen im Allgemeinen ein echter Nachteil! Tolle Aussicht, aber unterdurchschnittliches Essen! Neben dem Strand ist das Spa ein weiteres Highlight des Hotels. Es befindet sich in einem kleinen Schuppen am Strand und bietet einen atemberaubenden Meerblick. Die Spa-Behandlungen, umhüllt von der Meeresbrise, waren fantastisch! Die Therapeuten waren ausgezeichnet und die Preise waren sehr vernünftig!

Service war nett, waren nur eine Nacht dort. Die Klimaanlage war leider etwas laut und auch draußen waren die Geräusche etwas zu hören. Für eine Nacht kann ich es aber definitiv empfehlen, gibt auch kostenloses Wasser.

Hrmmm this one is a tricky one as we had a few unexplained situations. Firstly, the hotel itself was previously a Marriot 5-Star back in the day prior to be taken over in 2018 by the Seda Group. Secondly, there is so much ongoing renovation and construction that you need to be aware of; Noise coming from New Construction, the in hotel pool is unavailable from Feb-2025 and guests must walk across the street to another organisation's pool. Unfortunately this was a deal breaker for us. The food was average with cheaper and better tasting food located just minutes away by walking through the carpark. Overall the guest lounge (located on level 12) is a bonus but is super budget, not 4-Star Material. P.S. There is no rooftop bar, only a lounge overlooking a construction site. P.S.S The House of Lechon is 5 mins by Grab which is a plus.

Ein wunderbares Hotel, meiner Meinung nach, in bester Lage der Stadt. Es befindet sich im IT-Park. Es ist sicher, sauber und umgeben von tollen Geschäften, Cafés und Einkaufszentren. Das Hotel bietet bequemen Zugang zur Ayala Mall mit einem großen Supermarkt. Das Hotel bietet hervorragendes Essen – das Frühstück ist im Preis inbegriffen, Mittag- und Abendessen sind gegen Aufpreis erhältlich. Die Zimmer sind makellos sauber und in exzellentem Zustand. Sie werden täglich gereinigt. Im obersten Stockwerk befinden sich ein fantastischer Pool und ein Fitnessstudio! Bei Ihrer Ankunft erhalten Sie Willkommenskuchen. Das Zimmer ist außerdem mit Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank, Tassen, Tee/Kaffee, Föhn, Pflegeprodukten, Lotionen/Shampoo, Hausschuhen und einem Bademantel ausgestattet. Der Service ist ebenfalls erstklassig. Dieses Hotel verdient 10 von 10 Punkten!

Es war wirklich toll. Wenn ich das nächste Mal nach Bohol gehe, werde ich wieder hier übernachten. Ich habe andere Hotels ausprobiert und dieses, aber dieses ist das beste ... Das nächste Mal werde ich nur vom ersten Tag an hier übernachten. Es ist etwas weit vom Alona Beach entfernt, aber es gibt einen schöneren Dumalian Beach. Wenn Sie an einem ruhigen und stimmungsvollen Ort entspannen möchten, kommen Sie hierher! Die Gegend in der Nähe von Alona Beach bietet eine gute Anbindung an Aktivitäten, aber es gibt zu viele Menschen und Geschäfte, sodass es hektisch ist.

Unsere Familie hatte einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Wir waren wirklich beeindruckt von der fantastischen Lage, dem Komfort und der Sauberkeit unseres Zimmers, dem köstlichen Essensangebot und dem einladenden Pool. Tatsächlich haben wir jeden einzelnen Aspekt unseres Aufenthalts genossen – es war einfach das Beste!

I’ve stayed in many five-star hotels around Lapu-Lapu, and unfortunately, this property falls short of that standard. The room was relatively small and underwhelming, especially considering the nightly rate of $280 (around 15,500 pesos). Overall, the resort doesn’t compare favorably to its competitors in the area. Upon arrival, we headed to the pool and asked for towels, only to be told to come back in 30 minutes as they were still drying, not the kind of service you expect from a high-end resort. There were also no poolside activities or amenities for children, making it less suitable for families. If you want to use the children’s play area, there’s an extra charge of 300 pesos per child per hour, and you have to walk all the way back to the check-in counter to pay. Frankly, that felt like a rip-off. Safety-wise, be cautious walking around as there were small puddles on the floor, likely caused by condensation dripping from air-conditioning pipes above, an obvious slip hazard that should be addressed. Also, don't let your young kids near the elevator lobby windows. They are low level and open outwards.  The buffet breakfast was another letdown. The food was presented poorly, served lukewarm, and surprisingly lacked basic breakfast staples like sausage or bacon, something I’ve never encountered before in a hotel of this caliber. Even more concerning was the presence of pet dogs in the dining area during breakfast, which we found off-putting. While the sunset views are beautiful, they’re somewhat marred by the rusting ship hull of visible just offshore, a visual distraction that takes away from the otherwise scenic waterfront. On a brighter note, we had drinks and dinner at the sports bar twice, where the service was excellent and the food enjoyable. However, ordering would be more efficient if they adopted a QR code system instead of relying on guests to find a server. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. For better service, amenities, and overall experience, I’d recommend the Shangri-La or Sheraton, both of which offer a far superior pool, beach area, and level of hospitality. In fact I find Costabella Beach Resort much better services and amenities for a fraction of the price!
