I had a nice stay there for a decent price. Also comes with free breakfast and free Wifi. The hotel is also near the Cebu IT park that has a lot of amenities

Die gemütliche Atmosphäre des Hotels und das freundliche Personal haben mir das Gefühl gegeben, zu Hause zu sein. Das Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und gut gepflegt und verfügte über alle notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten. Das Bett war plüschig und die Klimaanlage war eine willkommene Abwechslung von der Hitze. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls ein großes Plus, da viele Restaurants, Geschäfte und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Der einzige Grund, warum ich nicht die vollen 5 Sterne vergeben habe, ist, dass die Frühstücksoptionen verbessert werden könnten. Das Personal ist jedoch gerne auf meine Wünsche eingegangen und das Essen war trotzdem köstlich. Insgesamt kann ich Allsons Inn jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der eine komfortable, praktische und erschwingliche Unterkunft sucht. Werde ich wieder hier übernachten? Auf jeden Fall!“

We had a truly amazing stay, thank you to all the staff, your hospitality/kindness/smiley faces were amazing 👍 The Resort was small and cute,& right on the beach/sea & the attention to detail for all the guests was brilliant.. The rooms were spacious, very clean with all the amenities, including a mini bar. Our introduction to the Scuba Diving course was brilliant, and I would tell anyone who wants to do Scuba Diving for the 1st time to go to this resort. Donde the Dive instructor was brilliant, very efficient & conscious re health/safety, BUT had the best personality to make you feel at ease. Any nerves we may have had in the swimming pool, @ our introduction, were all gone when we were sitting on the Sea Bed watching a Sea Turtle sleep 😂 I never thought at the start of the day, we would end the day having done two amazing Dives, We will definitely be back to do another Dive the ” next” step with Donde👍The Food was also amazing, my husband enjoyed the fresh Tuna tapa👍 Lots of variety, and very well priced including the Vino👍 The Breakfast was the best of all the resorts we've stayed in the Philipines, & that is normally the negative in any of my reviews😂 Thankyou to all the staff we look forward to seeing you all again soon. Breakfast is ₱850 net per person, lunch is ₱650 net on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and ₱700 net with a glass of wine on Fridays and Saturdays. Der Hotelstrand ist fantastisch und es gibt kostenlose Kajaks und Paddleboards. Ein Tag dort ist unglaublich entspannt. Vom Alona Beach Tutu aus kostet es 200 NT$, aber durch die Entfernung ist es ruhiger, was ich super finde. Der riesige Kokosnusshain ist wunderschön! Die Zimmer sind etwas veraltet, die beiden Pools sind klein, was ein Nachteil ist, und das Internet ist langsam! Das Frühstück war nicht besonders gut, aber das ist nicht nur für dieses Hotel, sondern für philippinisches Essen im Allgemeinen ein echter Nachteil! Tolle Aussicht, aber unterdurchschnittliches Essen! Neben dem Strand ist das Spa ein weiteres Highlight des Hotels. Es befindet sich in einem kleinen Schuppen am Strand und bietet einen atemberaubenden Meerblick. Die Spa-Behandlungen, umhüllt von der Meeresbrise, waren fantastisch! Die Therapeuten waren ausgezeichnet und die Preise waren sehr vernünftig!

Abgesehen von der etwas abgelegenen Lage zu Alona hat das Hotel keine Mängel. Auch das Essen im Hotel war sehr gut. Diese Zimmerkategorie verfügt über einen kleinen Garten, dessen Rasen allerdings etwas ungepflegt war und geschnitten werden müsste. Insgesamt war es gut und der Preis auch in Ordnung. Das Frühstück konnte zu bestimmten Zeiten aufs Zimmer geliefert werden – so muss man sich keine Sorgen mehr machen, dass man verschläft und kein Frühstück mehr bekommt, haha!

I’ve stayed in many five-star hotels around Lapu-Lapu, and unfortunately, this property falls short of that standard. The room was relatively small and underwhelming, especially considering the nightly rate of $280 (around 15,500 pesos). Overall, the resort doesn’t compare favorably to its competitors in the area. Upon arrival, we headed to the pool and asked for towels, only to be told to come back in 30 minutes as they were still drying, not the kind of service you expect from a high-end resort. There were also no poolside activities or amenities for children, making it less suitable for families. If you want to use the children’s play area, there’s an extra charge of 300 pesos per child per hour, and you have to walk all the way back to the check-in counter to pay. Frankly, that felt like a rip-off. Safety-wise, be cautious walking around as there were small puddles on the floor, likely caused by condensation dripping from air-conditioning pipes above, an obvious slip hazard that should be addressed. Also, don't let your young kids near the elevator lobby windows. They are low level and open outwards.  The buffet breakfast was another letdown. The food was presented poorly, served lukewarm, and surprisingly lacked basic breakfast staples like sausage or bacon, something I’ve never encountered before in a hotel of this caliber. Even more concerning was the presence of pet dogs in the dining area during breakfast, which we found off-putting. While the sunset views are beautiful, they’re somewhat marred by the rusting ship hull of visible just offshore, a visual distraction that takes away from the otherwise scenic waterfront. On a brighter note, we had drinks and dinner at the sports bar twice, where the service was excellent and the food enjoyable. However, ordering would be more efficient if they adopted a QR code system instead of relying on guests to find a server. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. For better service, amenities, and overall experience, I’d recommend the Shangri-La or Sheraton, both of which offer a far superior pool, beach area, and level of hospitality. In fact I find Costabella Beach Resort much better services and amenities for a fraction of the price!

I recently stayed at The Bellevue and while the overall experience was decent, there were a few hiccups that affected our stay. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that our room's AC was not functioning properly, which led to a transfer to another room. After a long day of travel, this was quite inconvenient. Unfortunately, the new room we were assigned wasn’t as clean as we expected, so we had to request housekeeping to tidy it up, which added to the frustration. The service at the resort was generally slow, particularly during dinner. The staff seemed a bit disengaged, which was surprising for a hotel of this caliber. On a brighter note, the breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of options, and dinner, though average, was satisfactory. One of the highlights of The Bellevue is the range of activities available within the resort, which added value to our stay. Despite the service setbacks, we still managed to have a pleasant time overall. With some improvements in service speed and room maintenance, this could easily be a five-star experience.

I’ve stayed here before and always rated them five out of five in all categories but location. This most recent day, I just felt the service wasn’t quite up to par with my other stays. I am sure I will stay here again as I believe it is the nicest hotel in Dumaguete. As a side note - very cool car show going on during this trip. 😁
