GGastnutzerStayed at this hotel 3 times in less than 2 months, not planning to return ever again.
Our 1st visit was so impressive that we had booked 2 more stays short after for our family. Yet the last visit turned into a disaster.
Nobody answering phone calls at night.
Before checking in on our last visit. We realized our flight got delayed. tried calling the hotel at around 9.15 pm, called 5 times over 20 minutes, no one would pick up the phone in the main reception !! Furious, and so we arrived at 1am without being able to inform them that we were gonna be late.
Upon arrival, as I had booked 2 rooms, I asked the only person who was on shift that night to make sure putting my parents into the booked standard double room and my family with a child into the other bigger room (Junior King Suite) . He affirmed me that the room distribution was correct so we just left our parents to go to their room and take rest since it was late.
When we arrived at our room, it was definitely a small room that would only fit a couple without being able to add an extra bed. Called the reception, no ones answered again!! So had to went back down to speak to that staff at 1.30am.
He insisted, the room I was put into, was the Junior King Suite !!!! I was so angry because that room didnt looked like it was over 500sq ft as it was described when I booked. But the staff said to us that the info in trip.com was incorrect and more over, the information he received didnt mentioned that we had a child with us.
Angry and exhausted, and I was even gonna compromised to stay in that room and sleep. we just went back to take a shower, then the guy came , talked to my husband and would offer us a bigger room after all the drama. it was close to 2am!!! We got offered to stay in a family room so my daughter got to sleep on a sofa bed but the guy who made the bed didnt even give her a blanket.
Next day, texted my parents and asked them to show us a picture of their room, we realized the guy mistakenly putting my parents into the bigger room and so we were the one who got allocated into the standard double room!!
Unprofessional service from the top to the bottom!! we eventually felt bad to that staff because in the middle of the night, he was the only person who moved luggages, opening beds etc...

EExploreWithMoFrom the moment I landed, I knew this stay would be special. I was collected from the airport in a luxury Jaguar , (completely free) and transported again at departure, including complimentary trips to and from the city centre. Actual VIP treatment from start to finish .... something I have never experienced anywhere else.
Because my flights didn’t match standard hotel times, the team kindly allowed early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost, which took away all travel stress and made my stay even more comfortable. That flexibility meant everything to me.
Every single staff member was amazingly warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Although I sadly didn’t manage to catch the names of the wonderful ladies at reception, they were absolutely incredible and deserve huge praise. Special mention to Tomas — such a professional, friendly, standout member of the team. I later found out his birthday was on Thursday 4th, and I wish I had the chance to say Happy Birthday before I left!
The location is perfect — close to shops, cafés, and restaurants, making it easy to explore Porto while still enjoying a calm, comfortable stay.
The room was immaculate — spotlessly clean, cosy, and beautifully prepared. And the amenities were next-level:
Mini-bar, tea and coffee station with kettle, plush slippers, bathrobe, bottled water......everything thoughtfully provided. I was welcomed with a welcome drink on arrival, and a fresh fruit tray waiting in my room. Nothing felt standard, everything felt intentional.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the attention to detail. There is a clear sense of care, love, and purpose in every interaction and every small touch. You’re not treated like just another guest , you are genuinely looked after.
I honestly cannot fault a single thing about this stay. Hotel Jaguar Porto combines luxury service with real warmth and heart, a rare find.
If you’re heading to Porto and looking for an experience that goes far beyond accommodation, this is THE hotel to book.
100% recommended. I will absolutely be back. ✨👏

JJinwooOne of the Best Serviced Apartments We’ve Stayed At
This was easily the best serviced apartment we’ve stayed at recently. All the facilities were brand new, and the cleanliness—especially in the kitchen and bathroom—surpassed even some 4-star hotels. Everything we needed was provided, and the interior design was excellent. The bed was also very comfortable. Great location, great price, great amenities.
Here are a few potential downsides that might matter to some guests:
• The internet was very slow. The Wi-Fi signal on the second floor was the strongest, so we used that, but it was barely sufficient for even checking emails. It felt as if the connection was intentionally throttled. If you need stable internet for work, tethering through your phone might actually be faster.
• No elevator. Our unit was located on the second floor, and we had to carry about 30kg of luggage up the stairs ourselves. Even a small, old-fashioned lift would have been a huge help.
• Noise from upstairs. Although the apartment was newly renovated, the flooring is still the original wooden structure, so noise from the upper floor can be heard. We were tired enough to sleep through it with earplugs, but sensitive guests should take this into account. Booking the top-floor unit might solve this issue, though that means climbing even more stairs.
• Early check-in confusion. We had requested an early check-in, but it wasn’t communicated properly. As a result, we had to drop off our luggage at the YOUROPO office, which is about a 6–7 minute walk from the apartment. I wonder if we could’ve left our luggage directly at the property if the message had gone through properly—perhaps someone from the team could clarify?
Despite these minor issues, I would still give this property a full 5 stars. If we visit Porto again, YOUROPO will be at the top of our list.

MMei Mei SiuDer Service des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet 👍 Als ich das Hotel betrat, begrüßte mich der Kellner an der Tür mit einem Lächeln und fragte mich, ob ich mir beim Tragen meines Gepäcks helfen möchte. Ich sagte nein, danke😊! Als ich am Schalter eincheckte, stellte mir der Kellner mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht ein Getränk und ein heißes Handtuch zur Verfügung, mit dem ich mir die Hände abwischen konnte.
Eine andere Person, die es zu schätzen wusste, war das Reinigungspersonal. Ich dachte ursprünglich, ich hätte die Batterieabdeckung meines iPhone-Stifts verloren und es aufgegeben, danach zu suchen war hell und sauber und ich hatte etwas auf der Arbeitsplatte verloren. Ich bin ihr wirklich dankbar, dass sie mir geholfen hat, die Batterieabdeckung für meinen iPhone-Stift zurückzubekommen.
Tatsächlich sind alle Kellner im Hotel sehr nett👍 und die Servicequalität ist erstklassig

RRene.cDas Hotel liegt direkt neben der St. Ben Teng Station, sobald es aus dem Bahnhof kommt, ist es auch sehr bequem, andere Attraktionen zu Fuß zu gehen. Obwohl die Station in der Nähe des Großen Reparaturprojekts ist, ist die Isolierung des Zimmers sehr gut, es hat keinen zu großen Einfluss auf den Raum, den Raum ist groß, die Ausstattung ist komplett, es gibt eine Küche, die selbst kochen kann und waschen. Die Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und begeistert. Sehr zu empfehlen, in diesem Hotel zu bleiben!

GGastnutzerWir hatten ein schönes, sauberes Zimmer auf einem oberen Stock mit schöner Aussicht. Das Badezimmer war auf der rechten Seite durch eine Schiebetür, als Sie ins Zimmer eintraten. Es war geräumig mit Dusche und Badezimmer. Gutes Frühstück! Die gerösteten Tomaten waren großartig und es sollte jeden Morgen ein Gericht im Buffet zur Verfügung stehen.

DDesZDie Lage war günstig und das Zimmer sauber. Allerdings bekam ich ein behindertengerechtes Zimmer (wahrscheinlich, weil ich um ein Zimmer in der Nähe des Aufzugs gebeten hatte), sodass beim Duschen oft Wasser austrat. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung.

EEmilyIch habe vor kurzem vier Nächte im Aparthotel Oporto Sol verbracht, und während mein Aufenthalt insgesamt gut war, kam es mit ein paar Nachteile.
Erstens ist die Lage etwas außerhalb des Hauptgebiets von Porto, was zusätzliche Anstrengungen erfordert, um in das Herz der Stadt zu kommen. Während die Umgebung ruhig und weniger besetzt war, fand ich mich mehr auf den öffentlichen Verkehr oder Taxis zu verlassen, als ich es hätte gehofft.
Eines der Hauptprobleme war das Fehlen von Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer. Während meines Aufenthalts waren die Temperaturen warm, und es machte Dinge unbehaglich in der Nacht. Die Öffnung der Fenster war keine Option wegen der Vorhandensein von Moskitos draußen, was bedeutete, dass ich kämpfen, um eine komfortable Schlaftemperatur zu finden.
Die günstige Seite war die Wohnung selbst geräumig und im Allgemeinen sauber. Die Einrichtungen waren für meine Bedürfnisse geeignet, und das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, obwohl ein paar Blocks über. Ich habe die Küche geschätzt, die mir erlaubte, während meines Aufenthalts einige meiner eigenen Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten.
Insgesamt, während mein Aufenthalt im Aparthotel Oporto Sol seine Leistungen hatte, hatte der Mangel an Klimaanlage und seine Lage außerhalb des Hauptbereichs meine Gesamterfahrung beeinflusst. Wenn Sie empfindlich auf Wärme sind oder lieber im Stadtzentrum sind, möchten Sie vielleicht andere Optionen berücksichtigen. Andernfalls dient es als angemessene Unterkunft für diejenigen, die einen ruhigeren Ort suchen.
