Lovely Yangon staycation. The room was quiet and comfortable with good wifi, nice bed and a bathtub. The sauna and jacuzzi were my favourite things. They were clean and well maintained. The swimming pool has phenomenal views, however its freezing cold. Breakfast spread is varied and delicious. Highly recommend and only 12 USD. I wouldn't recommend dinner. It was mostly aimed at Chinese and Indian and had no European food. Service is friendly, fast and efficient. I'll be back for sure

Safe, impeccable service, easy & early check-in given, clean, comfortable beds, hot water bath tubs, a good breakfast with variety and of course the staff; welcoming & hard-working. The only problem I faced was 1 of the 6 nights I booked online was not registered with the hotel on Trip .com. That was rather strange, since I had a confirmed & paid document in black & white.

Lotte Hotel Yangon is an outstanding place to stay. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well maintained, with spacious rooms and beautiful views of Inya Lake. The staff are extremely professional, friendly, and always ready to help, which makes the stay even more comfortable. The facilities are excellent—especially the gym, swimming pool, and breakfast selection. The location is also convenient, peaceful, and safe. Overall, it offers great value for the quality and service provided. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays in Yangon.

The hotel is an excellent hotel, some of the staff is not educated yet, special in the lobby bar - coffe bar - i ask for check Bill, after 20 min. I asked why it was more interesting to small talk in doing the Bill,  Guide your staff The words; If you have 3 excellent staff and get one bad. How many excellent do you have and how many bad? Correct answer is 4 bad Justice by yourself

Das Hotel G Yangon war fantastisch! Moderne, saubere Zimmer, eine großartige Lage in der Nähe von Sehenswürdigkeiten und hervorragendes Essen im Babett Eatery. Die Mitarbeiter waren überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr empfehlenswert für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt!

Als eines der drei berühmtesten Hotels Asiens ist das The Strand trotz der Herausforderungen Yangons einen Aufenthalt wert. Das Hotel selbst strahlt ein starkes historisches Flair aus, und schon beim Betreten des Zimmers erfüllt ein dezenter Duft nach Holz das Zimmer. Zwar gibt es im Zimmer keinen Wasserkocher, Kaffee oder Teebeutel, aber heißes Wasser, Kaffee oder Tee sind an der Rezeption erhältlich. Frühstück wird auch à la carte angeboten. Die Ausstattung entspricht einem historischen Hotel. Das heiße Wasser in den Duschen war manchmal unzureichend, aber insgesamt überwogen die Vorteile die Nachteile.

Als einsamer Frauenreisende habe ich die professionellen Reiseinformationen und die bedenklichen Sicherheitserinnerungen des Hotels wirklich geschätzt. Sie haben mich während meines gesamten Aufenthalts in Yangon gut unterstützt. Das Personal war immer freundlich, aufmerksam und bereit, zu helfen, wenn ich Fragen über Transport oder Orte zu besuchen hatte. Dank ihrer Führung ging alles reibungslos und ich fühlte mich sehr sicher, die Stadt selbst zu erkunden. Das Frühstück war lecker mit vielen Optionen, und die Aussicht vom Hotel war absolut schön. Ich würde dieses Hotel sicher empfehlen, andere Einzelreisende, die einen komfortablen und zuverlässigen Ort für einen Aufenthalt in Yangon suchen.

Good old hotel with antique atmosphere and courteous service, I liked the room but got dissaponted that the bedsheets and towels are too old and not clean, and it has some more caveats. The hotel is situated inward corner from the main street and need to call taxi every time just to get out, which is annoying if you want to go around the nearby area. Inside the hotel building there's one convenient store but the front desk never mentioned that and couldn't find it on the day of arrival. The biggest problem is there are so many noisy and dangerous street dogs nearby the hotel and they are barking at every car going in and out from the hotel, and when you try to walk back to the hotel it is really a big threat as they swarm and try to bite you even in the daytime. Those dogs are seriously damaging the hotel access and make the guests uneasy.

Es ist sauber und der Empfang ist freundlich. Ich bin zufrieden damit, dass es zu diesem Preis keine Insekten oder Mücken gibt. Auch das Frühstück hat sich gelohnt. Ich weiß nicht, ob es daran liegt, dass ich im 8. Stock übernachtet habe, aber der Wasserdruck war sehr schwach und die Klimaanlage war schwach, was enttäuschend war, aber der Preis war gut, sodass ich mich gut erholen konnte.
