Prime location, lovely layout and friendly staff. The room was well presented. However, the hotel food really let the experience down. Namely as there is a £6 add-on charge for room service which isn’t advertised clearly enough! Imagine my shock when I went to pay. The pizza was very average too. So in all £23 for a pizza that I probably could’ve made better myself. Insanity.

Eine einfache Wanderung nach den Docks und alles, was dort geht, und ein billiger Uber zum Stadtzentrum. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber, ruhig und komfortabel. Das Frühstück war wunderschön. In der Tat war die einzige Nebenseite die Parkgebühr. Das Hotel genossen wirklich.

Everything was on our expectations from 3 star. Room size was spacious. Kids can stay free. Breakfast was served fresh and everything available as per needed. Location was central which helped us reaching to main attractions easily. I would recommend.

My wife and I came to celebrate our anniversary with a spa day and as it was my birthday we decided to book the room for the night. We were absolutely amazed. Not only were the staff absolutely awesome, but they give us an upgrade plus free breakfast and when we got to the room we were greeted with rose petals on the bed, Welsh cakes on a slate and cards for our anniversary and birthday. All in all they really went out of their way and it made our stay absolutely incredible. I can’t thank the staff enough. We would highly recommend staying there

Wasn't great mostly due to the fact that you had Taxi drivers outside beeping horns all hours of the night. People fighting and shouting outside the hotel. As well as the Fire alarm going off at about 10:40pm. I had to check out by 04:50 Am to catch a train and I didn't get to sleep until about 2:30am This hotel is however right next to Cardiff Central Station so perfect for Travelling by train. Which is why I booked here. After explaining my stay to reception I asked for a bottle of water for my travels and it was given to me complimentary which I really appreciated. The hotel Staff were polite and welcoming, however and the room was quite clean. TV didn't work however which is a shame.

The Angel Hotel was perfect for a short City Break. The staff were all great, friendly and professional. Check in and out was simple. The room was ideal, slightly dated but everything was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower had a good powerful flow. We were only there for one night so the only other service I tried was the Bar. Again the service was first class. The Hotel has a central location just opposite the Castle. I would highly recommend this Hotel and I would definitely book again. Thank you.

Stayed for a night and the location was perfect,only 7min walk from Cardiff Central train station. Very easy to get to. At the first glance, the hotel seems very old compared to the photo but it was quite clean. Check in was easy and the receptionists were very friendly.. I love the 24 hr front desk service. Since it is in the city center, the surrounding is a bit crowded but the entrance is always locked and you have to ring the bell if you want to get inside which I felt safe. As a solo traveller in a new city, that's the main thing i wanted. the room is tiny but have all the things I need. i thought i would hear the voices from other rooms judging by the look of the walls but I didnt . Bed was comfy and slept well.. Would definitely stay there again. Cheers.

Mit Blick auf die Hauptstraße von Cardiff ist es günstig in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Das Cardiff Castle liegt nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Wegen der Osterzeit war die Stadt bis Mitternacht beschäftigt, und der nächste Tanzclub war bis Mitternacht etwas laut.

Clayton was okay as far as hotels go, it was nice having a view of Cardiff from a top floor, staff were friendly too. The Gym was tiny for the size of the hotel, the bedroom was a standard double room, the reviews said that the Clayton had been newly refurbished, but felt that the room was dated. Due to windows not being able to be open due to H&S, there was no fresh air, just air con. The room was mostly clean, few stains on the carpet, and floor felt dusty. The hotel location was great, near the train station and in town, but for the cost, I was expecting something much better, as the night before we had a much cheaper hotel, and rooms came with kitchens, and were very modern - wish I had stayed at that one for the extra few nights.

Room was good and clean. Location excellent. All the staff were polite. Breakfast is self service but very good.

Wir sind mit dem Zug in Cardiff Central angekommen, der 15 Minuten zu Fuß zu diesem Premier Inn. Es war sehr willkommen und Personalfreundlich, Zimmer sauber, mit so viel Tee und Kaffee, die Sie von der Reisebüro am Haupteingang genommen haben. Meine einzige Grippe ist, wie ich die Ernährungsanforderungen habe, Sie konnten nicht für sie zu kümmern und musste mit dem tun, was auf dem Angebot war. Keine glutenfreie Nahrung in der Nacht, Nur was ich würde allgemeine Burger, Lasagne, Bier gebattert Fisch und Chips. Nur Veg auf dem Angebot waren Pfeffer. In diesem Tag und Alter Hotels müssen für eine Vielzahl von Gesundheitsbedingungen für Menschen zu sorgen. Vegan/Vegetarier sind nicht Gluten frei oder Ibs Leiden oder Celiacs. Das sind komplizierte Probleme. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn sie etwas anzupassen angeboten. .
