Good airport hotel with free airport shuttle which was really convenient - only one problem there was hair on the pillow! Facilities included gym, indoor swimming pool and free coffee. Great for transit.

The front desk staff doesn't seem to have any interest in working. No greeting and blackface throughout. Saw us struggling with luggage at the front door without providing any assistance. Both just stare at you. This hotel is very expensive with poor service. I guess you pay for the location and convenience.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass sich im Blitzschutzzimmer 410 eine riesige Klimaanlage außerhalb des Zimmers befindet, wodurch es nachts fast unmöglich ist, gut zu schlafen. Das Zimmerservice-Personal ist jedoch freundlich und die Reinigung ist zuverlässig.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass dieses Hotel nicht sehr sicher ist. Ich bin zum ersten Mal in Chile. Fast alle Partner haben mich darauf hingewiesen, dass die Gegend um die Plaza de Armas nicht sehr sicher ist und ich auf mein Handy achten muss.

Das Hotel ist so schön und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und willkommen. Der Spa ist erstaunlich, dass Sie eine komplimentäre Stunde pro Tag haben, um es zu genießen und andere Behandlungen sind zu einem angemessenen Preis verfügbar.
Der Schwimmbad ist im Dach, ist ziemlich klein, aber nicht viele Menschen sind da. Das Restaurant oben ist großartig, etwas überpreist, aber die Lebensmittelqualität ist hervorragend. Frühstück wert.

Staying here for Just a day after arriving from Punta Arenas before we head up to Manchu Picchu .
To many homeless staying around the property and after hours , the hotel will need to lock their gates . Regards

Ausgezeichneter Service an der Rezeption, ein sehr gutes Frühstück und ein gutes Restaurant.
Ich habe eine Nacht hier verbracht und war sehr zufrieden.
Es gibt auch einen späten Check-out für 50 Dollar. Je nach Verfügbarkeit (Zimmerverfügbarkeit) können Sie bis 18:00 Uhr auschecken.

The Double Tree by Hilton Santiago is an incredibly neat and tidy hotel with magnificent views of the Andes, absolutely breathtaking. However, the room service app doesn’t work properly, leaving customers unsure if their orders went through. Despite this minor issue, it’s a great place to stay, and I do recommend it.

GGuest UserI loved this hotel! The staff was really wonderful and accommodating. Juan was at the front desk each morning with a greeting of ”Good Morning Madame.” Nicolas was very helpful in arranging my stay prior to the visit, which was helpful. Every staff member was really friendly and accommodating. They served a small breakfast buffet in the main level each morning, even cooked eggs to order if you'd like. I went to this country traveling as a solo female. This was a nice location because it's walking distance to several restaurants and a lovely park. I felt completely safe in the area. My favorite was the Peruvian restaurant! I had this amazing seabass dish with scallops and calamari with a sauce on top. This was all on a bed of risotto. Chilian wine...fantastic! I wasn't familiar with this region's wine and was surprised at how good it was. My meal, paired with a lovely Chilian Sauvignon Blanc Reserve was so delicious that I went back and had the same thing the next night.
There is also a hill about a mile away that has the Christ statue, that is very walkable. There is a Japanese Garden on the hill. If you can't walk there, there is a funicular and the Uber car service worked just as it does in the US. One tip, if you're from the US or North, the maps will be backwards on Google. Just google directions to get them in the direction you're going. I got lost the first day until I did my Google search on how to fix.
The only problem I had was the language. Very few people speak English. I even went to a restaurant, fine dining at a park, quite lovely, but nobody spoke English and the menu was only in Spanish. To make matters worse, my phone died! Be prepared with how to use Google Translate, that will help, but if your phone dies, you're dead in the water. I found it very hard to communicate with people, which would not have been as bad had I not been traveling alone. I found it to be very isolating. I even took a tour with an English-speaking guide. I thought great, now I can chat with people, but NO! It was a guide who spoke Spanish, then translated to Portuguese, then English. I was the only English-speaking person on the bus. The museums, a few are only available in Spanish so no point going to those if you don't speak Spanish.
Other than the language barrier, I had a lovely time. My highlight was my hotel and the staff!

GGastnutzerThis is a good hotel to stay in Santiago, great location, clean/prompt room service, fairly new facilities. But not yet living to the claim of ”the best” hotel in Santiago from my experience.
I travelled with my family of 2 seniors, 2 adults and one 2yo toddler. I booked two rooms for two nights - delux king with view (1110) and club level king (1704). After check in, the experience is flawless: prompt room service, extremely friendly and accommodating staff and modern facility. Not to mention the views! However, pre/post check-in experience needs some polishing and made my experience imperfect:
- staff did not help at all when we arrived: no one helped us at all when we arrived in a uber (black) with 2 big luggage and a crying toddler at the hotel door. there is a bellboy holding someone elses' luggage and a security-looking guy in black suit standing there near our car. But no other guests they needed to attend to. They both just stared us from when we get out of our car, trying to grab the toddler that's running around crying, getting two big luggages from the trunk until half way into the revolving door. No one opened/held the car door, or even asked if we needed any help, they just stood there staring at us for the whole period! (maybe we were underdressed for the best hotel?) I almost thought their job was not to help guests out of their cars but apparently not the case with other guests.
- check out took so long and no special consideration for guests in a rush:They made a mistake in my final bill so I had to go through the line and talk to someone instead of dropping off the keys. even though I mentioned I have a flight to catch I still had to stay in the queue with other guests that are checking in. I was delayed by a good 20 minutes.... there was a long line but only 3/4 counters were used though there are plenty of staff.
Everything else was perfect. But being one of the most expensive hotels in Santiago I certainly expect a better experience with the above two points.

**Exceptional Aufenthalt im Grand Harbor Hotel! **
Ich hatte vor kurzem die Freude, im Grand Harbor Hotel zu bleiben, und ich muss sagen, dass es alle meine Erwartungen überschritten hat. Von dem Moment, als ich ankam, wurde ich von der freundlichen und professionellen Mitarbeiter, die schnell und einfach check-in gemacht, begrüßt. Die Lobby wurde elegant gestaltet, die eine warme und einladende Atmosphäre schafft.
Mein Zimmer war geräumig, unspottbar und schön eingerichtet, mit erstaunlichen Blicken auf den Hafen. Das Bett war unglaublich komfortabel, und die Einrichtungen, die mir gegeben wurden, sicherte, dass ich alles hatte, was ich für einen entspannenden Aufenthalt benötigt hatte. Das komplimentäre Wi-Fi hat während meiner gesamten Reise unschön funktioniert, was für Geschäfts- und Freizeitzwecke ein enormes Plus war.
Das Hotel’s Restaurant auf der Website bietet eine hervorragende Speiseerlebnis. Das Frühstücksangebot war großartig, mit frischen, leckeren Möglichkeiten, den Tag zu beginnen. Ich hatte auch die Gelegenheit, zu Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant zu versuchen, und das Essen war top-notch, mit kreativen Gerichten, die fachgemäß zubereitet wurden.
Einer der Highlights meines Aufenthalts war das Hotel’s Spa, das eine ruhige und rejuvenative Atmosphäre bietet. Die Dienstleistungen waren erbarmungsvoll, und das Personal war professionell und aufmerksam.
Die Lage ist perfekt, nahe dem Stadtzentrum, so dass es einfach zu erkunden lokale Attraktionen, aber auch friedlich genug, um einen ruhigen Schlaf der Nacht zu genießen.
Das Hotel hat insgesamt eine wirklich erstaunliche Erfahrung gegeben, und ich freue mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch wieder hier zu bleiben. Sehr empfohlen!

SSparklyTravelerLoved this hotel! I don’t like standard chain hotels, so this was perfect for me. Situated in a very safe and convenient area. Only took an Uber twice, one from the Funicular and the other time to the airport. We walked every else. Located right next to the Sculpture Garden and walking distance to the gondolas and downtown! The staff were so sweet and helpful. We were told once we checked in we were now family! The lady from the breakfast room got all teary when I told her we were leaving. They gave us great advice as to where to go and even had a handheld scale to weigh our bags!
There is no elevator, so be aware of this if you have heavy bags or can’t do stairs. My sister hated the shower, I loved it. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The only issue, which to me was not important, but might be to you. They are very environmentally conscious in Santiago, so the towels were not a crisp white, but were clean and useable. The bar was also good, but food service took awhile, but when it finally came it was very good.
The coffee in breakfast room was fabulous! Water in lobby 24/7. Desk manned 24/7. They buzz you in and out, which I liked. The front desk clerk was going off duty, but waited for me to help me weigh my bags.
Would I stay there again? In a heartbeat!!
Just FYI tourist areas are mostly closed on Mondays. So no hop on hop off bus and no gondola. But the Funicular was running.

Чистота, прекрасный завтрак, хоть и мало горячей пищи, но это компенсировано прекрасными сырами и фруктами. Идеальное расположение. Ужинала в ресторане отеля - все было очень вкусно, хороший выбор вина. Теплый бассейн на 20 этаже, спортзал. Очень дружелюбный персонал. Советую отель для пребывания в Сантьяго и с удовольствием вернусь снова! Спасибо за прекрасный прием!❤️❤️❤️

Tout était parfait du début à la fin : accueil chaleureux, chambre propre et confortable, literie de qualité et ambiance calme. Le petit déjeuner inclus mérite une mention spéciale : très complet, varié et délicieux, avec des produits frais et bien présentés. Je recommande vivement cet établissement, un excellent rapport qualité-prix !

But the shuttle instructions were very confusing- it’s quite a walk from outside airport where other services do pick up, and hard to find spot as it’s in the middle of the car park, but well inside the building which made no sense. I waited closer to entrance of car park and once realised it was not coming, had to pay for a taxi which cost $25USD. This was annoying as I booked expecting an easy transit and Aldi because I wasted time and energy after a long flight.
