Die Atmosphäre dieses Ortes war ganz einzigartig, mit Dämmerlicht und nicht viele elektrische Lichter, die es einen rustischen Charme gab. Eine der Highlights war die Fähigkeit, Mahlzeiten zu kochen, die einen schönen Touch der Komfort hinzufügte. Außerdem gibt es viele Geschäfte in der Nähe, wo Sie leicht Gemüse oder Essentien zu holen.

Die Hotelumgebung ist besonders gut, der Chef ist eine chinesische Schwester, besonders gut, gibt mir auch die Milch. Hier ist sehr ruhig und sehr nahe der Landschaft. Es gibt eine McDonald's und eine Tankstelle in 10 Meter. Es gibt einen 100-Meter-Platz mit einem frisch gefütterten Fischschildkröten, die auch von den Menschen geöffnet sind, ist sehr lecker, aber nicht freundlich. Das Hotel ist im Wesentlichen sehr sauber und hygienisch, die Lage ist gut, bequem und schnell, der Parkplatz ist sehr bequem

We were blown away by the room and the service! The rooms are large, modern, with a fully equipped kitchen, quality bed linens, and the room was clean and tidy. The fluffy robes were a nice touch. We entered the room on a cold night, and the owners had turned on the heat pump so it was lovely and warm which was very thoughtful. We will only stay here anytime we are back in Dunedin!!

At first glance, the place seems lovely and inviting. However, on closer inspection, there are quite a few maintenance issues that need attention. Several lights weren’t working (only about 2 out of 5), the carpet wasn’t as clean as it initially appeared, and there was mould in the shower. There are also signs of wear such as plastering around the sink, and the hairdryer made an unhealthy noise when used. The toilet bolts were loose, which was concerning. The bathroom lacks an extractor fan, so it becomes very steamy. The shower head is quite small with low pressure. While there is an outdoor area, it doesn’t offer much privacy as the motel is right on the road. Parking is available on-site, which is a plus, but there are no laundry facilities. There is a makeshift kitchenette with a toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge, and basic cutlery and crockery. However, it’s not suitable for cooking proper meals, and the lack of a sink makes washing up or even filling the kettle inconvenient. On the positive side, the location is excellent—right next to a New World supermarket and very central. Overall, the place is reasonably clean, tidy, and comfortable, but it would benefit from some maintenance.

This is so far the best motel stay of my NZ holiday. The room is big and everything is sparkling clean. There’s plenty of room, the bed is very big. The bed linen is like brand new. Most of all, the landlord is super nice. I left my wallet at the reception when I checked in. This gentleman came and gave it to me. On the checking out day, I left my phone charge at the bedside. He left message for me. Luckily then I was still in Dunedine. I couldn’t be more grateful! Strongly recommend this motel👍👍👍

We stayed in a room for 3 people. It had everything we needed. The location could not have been better, we hardly used the car. The staff were amazing anything we needed was taken care of quickly. We used the compound gym which we really enjoyed the man there was also really nice. The gentleman in reception, as everyone has said, was really great and could not have been more helpful. I was even able to use their office space for a period after we had checked out which I was so grateful for. I would highly recommend them and would stay there again no question.

Der Grund, warum ich das Hotel reserviert hatte, war auf hohe Nachfrage und Preise in Queenstown ca. 45 Minuten entfernt . Ich sagte, dass ich gelangt wäre eine Unterschätzung, da alles über den Ort von Anfang bis Ende unvermeidlich war. Die Lage außerhalb des besetzten Queenstown-Gebiets war sehr zentraler und zeigte sich viel mehr von der Umgebung und war immer noch eine sehr scenische Fahrt zurück nach Queenstown. Als Solo Reisende ist alles auch auf Ihrem Türsteg .... Ganz buchstäblich über die Straße ist ein kleines Zentrum mit allem, was notwendig ist, Nahrung und Erfrischung . Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber mit allem was nötig war, einschließlich einer kleinen Küchenfläche . Ich empfehle diesen Ort sehr jedem , der diesen Teil Neuseeland reist .

We was late about 10min checked in at night. But the person in charge was still very friendly n helpful to helped us carried the luggage due to there was some distance from my car to the building that we stayed. Overall was cool and comfortable. The location was great and perfect as just very close to the octagon.

SierraMotel is a typical kiwi motel with all the amenities you need. Nicely set back off the road so quiet and undisturbed. Obviously very popular with cyclists, fishermen and walkers, of whom there were plenty.
