Das Zimmer ist ok. Es gibt ein thailändisches Restaurant nahe Bangkok Rezept und das Essen dort sehr gut, wir bestellten thailändische Milchtee, Pad tai, Duck Noddle und Schweine Satay. Eine ruhige Stadt mit nicht viel Platz zu gehen, aber gut für Entspannung.

Obwohl es ein Autohotel ist, ist die Küche sauber, es gibt keine Tankstelle und der Kisten kann verwendet werden. Unsere Zimmer sind nicht überfüllt, vier Menschen leben nicht überfüllt, die Umgebung ist bequem und sieht die Pingviin sehr nahe. Es gibt viele Lebensmittelgeschäfte für etwa zehn Minuten zu Fuß. Die Rezeption ist chinesisch und die Kommunikation ist ohne Hindernisse.

The room was very spacious and had great natural lighting, which I really appreciated. It felt comfortable during the day and overall the space itself was quite nice. However, the WiFi was extremely poor. Even basic social media would keep buffering, and trying to watch a show at night was almost impossible — it would pause every couple of minutes. Since there’s not much to do around in the evening, this was pretty frustrating. Another thing that felt a bit uncomfortable was the mirror placement next to the bed upstairs. It’s not directly facing the bed, but if you turn to the side, you’re basically looking straight into it. I know this might not bother everyone, but in some cultures (like feng shui), having a mirror facing the bed is considered bad for sleep and overall comfort, so it felt a bit odd to me. The bathroom was also a bit annoying — the fan automatically turns on with the light and can’t be switched off separately. It was quite loud, so even using the bathroom felt uncomfortable after a while. Parking space was decent in size, but getting out was inconvenient. I had to reverse multiple times because the space behind wasn’t very wide. Overall, the room itself is nice, but the WiFi and some layout details could really use improvement.

At first glance, the place seems lovely and inviting. However, on closer inspection, there are quite a few maintenance issues that need attention. Several lights weren’t working (only about 2 out of 5), the carpet wasn’t as clean as it initially appeared, and there was mould in the shower. There are also signs of wear such as plastering around the sink, and the hairdryer made an unhealthy noise when used. The toilet bolts were loose, which was concerning. The bathroom lacks an extractor fan, so it becomes very steamy. The shower head is quite small with low pressure. While there is an outdoor area, it doesn’t offer much privacy as the motel is right on the road. Parking is available on-site, which is a plus, but there are no laundry facilities. There is a makeshift kitchenette with a toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge, and basic cutlery and crockery. However, it’s not suitable for cooking proper meals, and the lack of a sink makes washing up or even filling the kettle inconvenient. On the positive side, the location is excellent—right next to a New World supermarket and very central. Overall, the place is reasonably clean, tidy, and comfortable, but it would benefit from some maintenance.

This is so far the best motel stay of my NZ holiday. The room is big and everything is sparkling clean. There’s plenty of room, the bed is very big. The bed linen is like brand new. Most of all, the landlord is super nice. I left my wallet at the reception when I checked in. This gentleman came and gave it to me. On the checking out day, I left my phone charge at the bedside. He left message for me. Luckily then I was still in Dunedine. I couldn’t be more grateful! Strongly recommend this motel👍👍👍

Overall, this accommodation was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The unit was very spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean upon arrival, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. The layout was practical and suitable for both short and longer stays, with ample space to move around and relax. One of the biggest advantages was how easy the place was to locate. Clear directions and a convenient location made check-in smooth and stress-free, especially after a long journey. The surrounding area was also quiet and pleasant, allowing for a restful stay. Cleanliness was clearly a priority, from the rooms to the common areas, which we truly appreciated. Overall, this accommodation offers great comfort, convenience, and value. We would definitely recommend it to others and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

We had a very comfortable stay in this motel. Close to supermarket and walk to town. Spacious room. Plenty of complimentary coffee tea and milk, good cooking equipment. Recommended!

Cromwell is a beautiful place and this motel was perfect for our stay which included a trip to the Carrick Winery restaurant and a walk along the Cromwell to Clyde trail. The host gave us great tips on where to eat breakfast and overall was a super stay

We was late about 10min checked in at night. But the person in charge was still very friendly n helpful to helped us carried the luggage due to there was some distance from my car to the building that we stayed. Overall was cool and comfortable. The location was great and perfect as just very close to the octagon.

Wir sind seit 2 Wochen auf der unteren Südinsel gereist, im Motel bleiben in der Regel für 2 Nächte zu einer Zeit. Das Sierra Motel ist eines der schönsten, die wir während der gesamten Reise gesehen haben. Das Außensehen ist gedatiert, aber das Innenraum ist fabulös - groß, sauber, komfortabel und modern. Es gibt einen großen TV (mit Grundstein Sky - möchten Sie Netflix zugreifen), Königsbett, zwei Lounge-Sitzplätze und einen guten Arbeits-/Essenraum sowie eine große Dusche mit zwei Duschekopfen, und ein großes Außenbereich mit einem Außentisch und 2 Stühle. Wir genossen eine G&T außerhalb unserer Einheit im verschwundenen Nachmittagssonne - sehr angenehm. Buchung durch Trip.com gab uns auch einen sehr wettbewerbsfähigen Preis und 25% besser, dass alles, was das Motel bieten würde, so waren wir sehr glücklich.
