Very good location. The room is spacious and well designed for the price. It has a nice window view of the shopping mall across. Highlight of my stay was the public bath, they have both indoor and outdoor baths, which were clean and thoughtfully designed. Definitely a place I would come back for!

This hotel is brand new and in excellent condition. Getting here from the main train station could be tricky if you have bulky luggage, as it's not a short walk. Thankfully, there's a tram stop quite close by, offering a more convenient transportation option for exploring the city.

Es war nicht gut, aber das Hotelzimmer war sehr komfortabel und neben einer Einkaufsstraße mit viel guter Nahrung und es gibt eine Apotheke, die mir mit der richtigen Medizin helfen. Sehr schönes Bett und komfortable Pyjamas. Will hier wieder bleiben. Fantastisches Aufenthalt und ja ich bin völlig wieder.

A very nice stay in the city of Kumamon! Staffs are friendly, the room is big, amenities are well prepared. Had a three-night stay in the same hotel and enjoyed the convenience of it as it’s right next to the JR Kumamoto station with bus stops nearby and connected to the AMU plaza.

Es ist 200 Meter vom Bahnhof Aso entfernt und es ist sehr bequem, den Bus zum Vulkan zu nehmen. Zum Essen muss man ins Restaurant am Bahnhof oder ins nahegelegene Lawson gehen. In der Lobby im Erdgeschoss gibt es kostenlosen Kaffee und heißes Wasser, was sehr benutzerfreundlich ist. Die Management- und Servicestandards von Marriott sind online verfügbar, wenn Sie mit JR reisen.

This hotel is amazing! I stay with my family and the place is just spotless. Loved the large bathroom two sinks available! Dont get me started with the outdoor onsen and that was fantastic after a long day of driving. Breakfast is great and the place is within walking distance to the shopping centers, we end up having dinner at the Kumamoto Food stall. Cosy place, nice beds, Netflix and YouTube available on the TV, coffee and tea and free amenities for guest to enjoy.

Conveniently located in the city centre, walking distance to the main bus terminal and shopping district.  Room was clean and quiet with needed amenities.  Complementary afternoon drink (n/a) service was a nice touch.  Friendy staffs, snd mostly conversant in English.  Highly recommended and will definitely stay again.

Zunächst einmal ist die Lage wirklich gut und die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich. Nach dem Auschecken hatte ich vor, zum Berg Aso zu fahren, und deshalb durfte ich mein Gepäck kostenlos aufbewahren. Im Zug zum Berg Aso stellte ich fest, dass ich meine Augentropfen im Kühlschrank meines Hotelzimmers vergessen hatte. Also kontaktierte ich das Hotel und bat darum, sie zusammen mit meiner Tasche aufzubewahren! Ich kam um 18 Uhr an und bekam mein Gepäck kostenlos und sicher zurück. Ich war so gerührt, als sie mir die Augentropfen aus dem Kühlschrank brachten! Dieses Hotel ist wirklich unvergesslich und freundlich! Wenn ich jemals wieder nach Kumamoto komme, werde ich definitiv hier buchen! Der Bahnhof Kumamoto liegt direkt vor der Tür, daher ist es sehr gut erreichbar und die Gepäckaufbewahrung ist perfekt! The bed was extremely comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. The bathroom was pristine, with high-quality toiletries provided. The hotel's location was convenient, offering easy access to local attractions and transportation. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and outstanding place to stay, this is it. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!

The staff is friendly and provide good service. The bath house is normal, but can tell its age. I feel the room is very dusty, it’s making my hand itchy and nose sneezy all the time. The bathroom is also old with water marks and mould. I am a fan of Dormy Inn and have stayed in Dormy Inn branches at Aomori, Hachinohe, Tokyo, and Osaka before, but this Kumamoto branch has the most room for improvement. The hotel is in walkable distance to the castle, so it is great.
