Gehen Sie aus dem Zug in York und buchstäblich direkt in dieses fab Hotel. Ein Schritt zurück in der Zeit mit schönen Lounges zu essen und zu trinken. Stupende Gärten. Schönes Gefühl von Xmas mit stupenden Bäumen und Dekorationen. Das Hauptmahl am Neujahrstag war wunderschön, aber würde den Starter einen Miss geben, nicht für uns. Mehr plus als negatives. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Zimmer war geräumig. Das Frühstück war das beste von allen Hotels, die ich in den letzten zwei Jahren in Großbritannien zu diesem Preis besucht habe. Es ist nur im Gegensatz zum Bahnhof und es gab ein gutes chinesisches Restaurant - Red Chilli - in der Nähe. Der Hop-on-hop-off Bus ist gerade außerhalb des Bahnhofs. Alles ist so bequem.

The hotel is in an excellent location. 5 minutes walk to the town centre. Parking is provided with a car park underneath the hotel. A discount is given out by reception if you are staying in the hotel. On check in we were offered an upgraded room which was excellent. Very spacious with everything you need for a comfortable overnight stay. All the facilities in the room worked very well. Toiletries are provided in the bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities are excellent. We were staying on room only basis so cannot comment on the breakfast. Check in was very good and all the staff were very helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be happy to use again when visiting Harrogate.

A very convenient location located within the city centre of York. There are numerous bus stops just located within 3 mins of walking making it very easy to travel to rail station or designer outlet. Moreover, there are numerous groceries such as saintsbury, Tesco and M&S foods. 10mins walk to York minister. It comes with complementary breakfast as well and it has many varieties and delicious. From the room you can overlook the Clifford castle as well.

Das Hotel ist recht günstig gelegen, direkt hinter der Stadtmauer, wenn man den Bahnhof York verlässt, etwa zehn Minuten zu Fuß. Die Zimmer wirken insgesamt ziemlich neu und sind sehr ruhig, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht. York ist ja nicht besonders groß, daher sind alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten vom Hotel aus zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstück ist zwar nicht riesig, aber man wird auf jeden Fall satt 🆗.

The location is not close to the railway station, although it is not far from the city centre since York is quite small, so most attractions are still within walking distance. Unfortunately, cleanliness was not satisfactory. When using the air conditioner, we could smell dust in the air. The carpet felt dusty, and the towels were not white enough and showed heavy signs of use. The table and cupboard in the room were also quite old-fashioned, and you can clearly feel their age rather than a modern hotel standard. On the positive side, the service was very good. All staff were friendly, and the breakfast staff in particular were very kind and helpful. However, I would not recommend choosing the breakfast-included option. It is overpriced and honestly the worst hotel breakfast I’ve tried in terms of taste. You can easily find much better and more cost-effective breakfast options just outside the hotel within very convenient walking distance. Overall, friendly staff and decent location, but the cleanliness and room condition really need improvement, and the breakfast is not worth the money.

Manche Menschen sollten nicht in der Gastfreundschaft arbeiten Wanderte in und die Dame bei der Rezeption war offensichtlich nicht in guter Stimmung. Er sprach mit einem Kunden, der ein Problem hatte, die Richtungen zu verstehen, wie sie war ein ******. Er kam zu uns und die Haltung war nicht viel besser. Als sie das Grundzimmer sagen, bedeuteten sie es. Tele auf der Wand und das ist es. Das Frühstück am ersten Tag war dort seit Stunden sitzen und war wie ein Boot zu essen. Ein wenig enttäuschend, da sie uns eine Zeitgedanke angeben Sie die Mitarbeiter nicht gedankt, weil es ein Futter-Frenzy war, sobald die Uhr getroffen 10. Schade, wenn wir nicht fertig waren. Zweites Frühstück offensichtlich ein anderer Koch. Weg besser. Gute Lage, aber für ein paar zusätzliche Dollar bleiben Sie im Hilton und Sie werden nicht aus dem Parkplatz gerissen.
