Das ist ein altes Gebäude in der Nähe der Wasserfront. Die Klang der Seegurte können draußen gehört werden; eine tolle Atmosphäre!   Das Gebäude selbst hat eine Art Klaustrophobisches Gefühl für es. Es hat kleine Zimmer, niedrige Decken, enge, windende Treppen und schleifende Böden. Wenn offen und luftig ist Ihre Präferenz, ist das der falsche Ort.  Aber das Personal ist sehr fähig und freundlich. Es ist ein kurzer Spaziergang sowohl vom Fährhafen als auch vom Bahnhof. Hoffnung, wieder zu besuchen.

Spectacular stay as always, I upgraded to a balcony a room and we weren’t disappointed. Amazing views of the harbour, beach and the white cliffs of Dover on the large balcony. At night it was lovely clear skies and we could see France from our balcony. Room was a great size with homely furniture and furniture for the balcony too. All clean and up to a high standard. Beach and harbour is just a 2 minute walk across the road. Bar and restaurant yet again superb! I went with a dog and had no problems getting meals. Staff as always super polite and helpful they are a credit to the hotel! Highly recommend The Grand Burstin to anyone!

Von dem Moment, in dem wir eingestiegen sind, fühlten wir uns warm willkommen. Die Rezeption war freundlich und glatt. Das Zimmer war nett, das Frühstück war freundlich, nur das Hotel, das wir brauchen.

We were staying here for 2 nights because of its proximity to Brands Hatch circuit.  The room was very clean but very cold on arrival.  However, luckily, we discovered a heater in the wardrobe.  The dining experience was not good….the menu is very sparse and the service was very poor.  They only had one very sweet rose’ wine available and we had to go to the bar to buy it as we couldn’t locate anyone to serve us.  On Friday evening, they seemed to only have one waitress on duty and the hotel was full.  When the bill arrived, after perusing it, we discovered that they had added a service charge to it which we did not pay.  Whilst checking the bill later, we discovered that they had added an extra glass of wine to it, which we didn’t have.  This is not a cheap hotel but the restaurant/service does not match their aspirations.  We only stay here because of its location and would willingly stay elsewhere if there was a hotel available.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Holiday Inn in Rochester. Tamia, der Empfänger, bietet hervorragende Kundenservice und empfahl ein fantastisches indisches Restaurant, wenn wir nach Stunden gefragt haben. Das Zimmer war grundsätzlich, aber sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten. Obwohl wir wegen unserer späten Ankunft nicht Zeit hatten, den Pool zu nutzen, genossen wir das leckere Frühstück, das der Koch bereitet hat. Wir freuen uns auf wieder hier zu bleiben. Danke!

On arrival service was great and very helpful. Room had a great view a little on small size but not complaining as it was very clean. On the down side. Mattress needs changing as springs have gone. Woke up with them digging in my back. Went for breakfast as continental breakfast was included. It's extra for cooked of which I would be happy to pay for. However I was totally ignored as person too busy folding napkins and kept their back to me. I wasn't going to hang around. There was no fruit just bread, muffins and yoghurt. I was going to speak to the front desk about this but no one about so I let myself out of the car park.

Warm welcome and easy check in. Room clean and tidy. Good sleep and breakfast was included. Would stay again.

A lovely hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast was faultless and we had dinner there one evening which again was very good. The staff are friendly and helpful.

good experience, staff are nice, close to the shopping outlet. but I would avoid the parking cause when I come back the other day, there is milk on the window, not sure if they are from the above
