I have stayed at the Chateau before and it is good value as well as being an interesting building with many artistic features, there is also an outside pool. Generally, it’s clean but the rooms are a little dusty. The staff are helpful but on my previous stay the restaurant was shut due to staff problems. It was a disappointment but gave it a second chance. However, having booking again, I was told on arrival that the restaurant was not open on Mondays or Tuesdays. Please don’t be fooled by websites as every one I found stated that it was open on these days, so it’s a must to take this into account if you’ve had a long drive and do not want to dine out, you may well want to think again. It does seem to be under staffed as it can be difficult to find anyone if you would like an evening drink. You would either have to drive fifteen or so minutes into Macon where there are plenty of restaurants or if you prefer a village, drive in the other direction for less than ten minutes and there is a small restaurant next to the station called ‘Aux Dix Vins’ which I recommend and it’s open on Mondays and Tuesdays. The menu and quality is good, with some nice wines to accompany the food and the owner cares about how it’s run.

Zimmer alles sauber und tolles Bett Frühstück und Abendessen alles super Kein Lärm am Hotel Wir waren sehr zufrieden Fernseher hatte 3 deutsche Sender Vorsicht beim einparken bei großen SUV X7 Parkplätze sehr klein Bordstein Kanten sehr scharfkantig Vorsicht!!!!

Für eine Nacht vollkommen ausreichend, es gibt aber eindeutig Verbesserungsbedarf. Der Eingangsbereich ist sehr schön und modern, das zieht sich aber leider nicht durch das gesamte Hotel. Die Flure machen leider keinen guten Eindruck. Die Zimmer wurden oberflächlich modern renoviert. Im Bad war es leider nur auf den ersten Blick sauber :( außerdem ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig (die Klospülungen sind aber auch extrem laut) und man hat die ganze Nacht Lärm von draußen aus der Stadt gehört... Achtung - französische Doppelbetten! War ein bisschen eng und kurz für zwei Personen, aber da muss man einfach im Vorfeld drauf achten... Pluspunkt: super Lage um die Stadt zu erkunden und abends draußen zu sein. Das Personal war auch total freundlich und nett!

we stayed there for a night while on the road in france. clean, simple, no frills rooms, free parking, SUPER friendly receptionist staff. we couldn't ask for more, especially at this price😊👍👍👍 will be back there next week again, actually, because we like the non-touristy ”feel” and the friendly people in and around lure (e.g. BAR LE SHOOTER, just 200 metres from the hotel, VERY cool atmosphere on weekends/karaoke thursday!;)) and in the bourgogne-franche-comté region😀. à bientôt au kyriad lure;)!

We booked the hotel over the phone and spoke to a very nice and helpful lady. My girlfriend had injured her back while on holiday so we needed a ground floor room. This was well described and turned out to be just what was required. However, when we arrived her male colleague was on reception and was unwelcoming to say the least. He printed off a bill and I didn't immediately mention the subterranean car park I'd been told about on the phone. When I spoke up about this he tore up the bill in my face and muttered a few words. He printed off another bill, with parking included, and then gave me inaccurate directions to the car park. The following day i was trying to park outside the hotel to collect my injured girlfriend. The 'delightful' gentleman was in a car behind me honking his horn. He knocked on my window and muttered come choice words. When I explained I needed to collect my partner he shouted a few expletives and drove off. Not really what you'd expect when booking a 100€ hotel room.

Frustration from being woken to a hot room lead me to write this review in the middle of the night while still staying at this hotel…we’re here as part of a big tour group…It seemed like a promising place as the showers were big and the hotel was in a nice location. However, our AC experience was contrary to what was mentioned by another reviewer in the past. We were assigned a West facing room so imagine how hot the room got on a nice May day and it’s not even June yet. My thermometer showed that our room reached around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Initially had someone looked at our thermostat after we got back around 10pm from being outside for 5 hours as we had left our AC on (or so we thought) to keep room cool and ready for when we returned. Let’s chuck it up to operator error so had the AC reset and working so we can start cooling the room and fall asleep…was woken up to sweating 3 hours later at 1:30am as there was no air circulating and saw the AC power was shut off and the room was reading around 80 degrees again. Just had the AC thermostat turned on again so will have to see how long before it shut off again. Note: we tried opening our windows as it was much cooler outside at night…however, being only a floor up from the street level, the noise from the train/tram passing by across the street as well as street noice with people talking outside would not have been conducive for sleeping.

Dopo anni, siamo tornati al Mercure Hexagone di Luxeuil-les-Bains, gradevole cittadina termale. A parte qualche abbellimento nel giardino, ove abbiamo cenato, nessuna miglioria nell'albergo: camere minuscole, più da Ibis, mancanza di ascensore, scala coperta dalla moquette sempre più usurata, che ha assorbito odori e polvere di anni e anni, La minuscola camera 103 ”SUPERIOR” (?!?) ha una tenda così vetusta che non ha più elasticità, cosicché i lembi non si uniscono, ed è così usurata che ormai ci sono buchi nel tessuto oscurante, ergo, quando spunta il sole, i suoi raggi colpiscono gli occhi di chi dorme e lo sveglia prima di quando l'ex dormiente aveva programmato. L'albergo espone un cartello che segnala un reparto fumatori (ancora nel 2024 !?!?), ed infatti anche nella camera 103 ”SUPERIOR”(?!?) NON FUMATORI persiste puzza di fumo. Curioso l'avviso in camera: ”PROIBITO FUMARE”, tuttavia la parte sottostante avverte, altresì, ”che se si fuma in questo locale, si paga un supplemento di 35€ (!!!). Grazie per la vostra comprensione. La Direzione”, Sala da bagno, piccola come la camera, con vasca/doccia, però priva di tendina paraspruzzi. Cena passabile. Colazione mattutina: uova strapazzate rinsecchite, salsiccette bruciacchiate: evidentemente sono quelle messe al mattino presto, all'apertura della colazione, mai sostituite. Scomodo il contenitore: il coperchiò è da sollevare, ma non c'è spazio ove appoggiarlo e, avendo solo due mani, una per reggere il piatto da riempire, l'altra per impugnare le posate per servirsi, la illogicità e scomodità è evidente. I vassoi di vienneserie e di affettati (mediocri), man mano svuotati dai Clienti, non venivano per nulla riempiti. Mi sorprende che Accor continui a mantenere l'insegna Mercure e che siano concesse ***. P.S.: le foto della tenda e del cartello sono in mio possesso.

This hotel has a modern practical and contemporary lay out. It is ideally located in central Dole with free parking nearby and an easy 9 minute walk to Dole Railway Station for excellent rail connections to include the beautiful Hirondelle Line to St Claude. My room on the 2nd floor overlooking the interior courtyard was quiet and just fine in every way. There is a choice of breakfast menus so avoiding those huge expensive buffet spreads for those wanting just a coffee and croissant. Staff were efficient, professional and welcoming. No hesitating in recommending this hotel.

Hôtel au calme à côté du campanile et pas loin des magasins d'usine.. Personnel réactif car il manquait une ampoule et la TV ne marchait pas.... tout a été réglé. Pas de bruit dans la nuit et petit déjeuner au top et réassort parfait. Petit bémol... douche Petite mais pour le prix RAS. A conseiller pour cette gamme de prestations
