Das Vic Hotel liegt im CBD und ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der City Circle Tram entfernt, einem kostenlosen öffentlichen Nahverkehrssystem in Melbourne, mit dem Sie viele Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt erreichen können. Das Hotel ist außerdem nur 3 Gehminuten vom Regent Theatre, Chinatown und den Einkaufsvierteln entfernt. Ich kann es jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der zum ersten Mal nach Melbourne kommt, egal ob Alleinreisender oder Familien …

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Balgownie. Die Mitarbeiter waren immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war schön und geräumig. Wir genossen das Essen und empfehlen sicher, hier zu essen und Wein zu probieren während Ihres Aufenthalts.

Pros: The room was much more spacious than I expected, very clean, modern, and well-maintained. I also loved having a Smart TV in the room. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Cons: One thing I found disappointing was that there were no women's sanitary products or basic pain relief available, which meant I had to go out early in the morning to purchase them myself. The shower pressure was also quite low, and the water temperature was often colder than expected. Overall: Despite these minor issues, I really enjoyed my stay and felt it offered great value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again.

I arrived at late check-in time on 2/11 Sunday and Mildua Inlander's staff was after office hour so I contacted to staff for room check-in by phone call, Staff are so helpful to help me to collect the room key and required admin work. However, due to the resort's layout and my room location(my room is ROOM 90), the circulation of the hotel is not poor, poor room ordering(it is not by 101 for on 1/F like typical hotel, it is using 1-50 for G/F, 51-100 for level 1; if 101-110 for block 1, 121-129 for block 2, 131-139 for block 3, 141-150 for block 4 would be better), no coherent corridor at the end, not much signage and map/easy to miss, no Lift or easy ramp for level 1. so, it is hard to find my room and poor experience before entry the room. Room is good for me. One thing is: can consider to have openable window after the mosquito net on the balcony sliding door if I don't want to turn on the air-conditioner.

The room is clean and location is very convenient within walking distance to many attractions in the city. The buffet breakfast is good value for money and delicious with choices of hot and cold breakfasts. The downside is that the bed is too soft for us. Also unpleasant experience with communication of hotel staff about the offer for a breakfast box in place of paid buffet breakfast which we can decide any time we were back for the day, was denied later saying this should be confirmed before 10pm. There was no follow up call or email despite the documented “unconfirmed” request. Also our request to grab something simple quickly was also rejected saying that it was a sit down breakfast and not supposed for take away. Not being helpful at all.

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich gut. Es ist super bequem, vom Terminal zum Hotel zu kommen. Die Zimmergröße ist gut für Entpacken und Ihre Sachen für die Reise wiederpacken. Da wir nicht das Frühstück in die Buchung aufgenommen haben. Es gibt 2 Alternativen zum Frühstück: 1. Das Frühstück des Hotels für 35AUD/person 2. Deli Cafe. Wir hatten dort einen Sandwich und Muffin. Es ist schnell und einfach, morgens bereit zu werden.

Da es in der zweiten Etage lag, war es nachts sehr laut. In der Kneipe war es am Samstagabend sehr laut Das Inakzeptabelste ist, dass es auf der gesamten Etage nur zwei Toiletten/Toiletten gibt (zwei weitere sind noch im Bau, ich muss oft auf die Toilette). Andere Etagen oder kein heißes Wasser zum Duschen. Obwohl die Toilette fünfmal am Tag gereinigt wird, kommt es häufig vor, dass die Toilette nach dem Duschen nicht gespült wird und kein heißes Wasser vorhanden ist Der Vorteil ist aber, dass es im Obergeschoss eine Küche, einen Backofen, eine Mikrowelle usw. sowie kostenlose Teebeutel und Kaffee gibt. Der Standort ist ein paar hundert Meter entfernt und man kann mit der Bahn/Straßenbahn fahren.

There was a communication breakdown from Devine escape. The hotel is supposed to send me an sms prior to my check-in, however despite my email, and calls, I did not receive any updates from them. Only upon arrival at the hotel, we can’t find any ways to call the receptionist. Luckily, the caretaker saw us and help us with the check in process. However, there was no apology from the hotel. So that was a bit disappointing.

Das Hotel ist super gelegen. Wenn Sie den Skybus vom Flughafen nehmen, steigen Sie an der Haltestelle Spencer Street aus und gehen Sie ein paar Minuten zu Fuß. In der Nähe gibt es Supermärkte, die bis ca. 22-23 Uhr geöffnet haben, und auch rund ums Hotel finden Sie zahlreiche Restaurants. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: Es halten sich immer wieder ein paar Betrunkene in der Nähe des Hotels auf, aber die können Sie getrost ignorieren.
