Super fun! This was one of the theme hotels that were hidden on the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street set. Appropriately, the Rosslyn Hotels' brand icon is the Landlady from Kungfu Hustle. Upon arrival, you check in at the North Gate's Tourist Services Desk. The concierge welcomed me with a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and asking me to add their butler (Housekeeper Xiao Xiao) to my WeChat. If I needed anything, I just had to text the Housekeeper Xiao Xiao (who was super helpful with all my questions (in English) during my stay). Then the bellhop whisked me away, via golf cart, to my hotel. There were several hidden hotels, with different themes, throughout the set. The bellhop took me through an unassuming door among into what looked like an empty set, and up an elevator to the room floors. The walkway offered a lovely view of the Ming Qing Palace set next door. The rooms were supposed to be themed as Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the 70s and 80s, but could easily pass for old Shanghai. The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable, the shower has nice and hot and with fantastic water pressure. The room has some of the largest closet space that I have seen in any hotel. The WiFi worked without the need to register a local cellphone number (I've found that many other hotels, in China, offered free WiFi, but you need to verify with an ID code text to you. The texts never come through to my U.S. phone number, so I have never been able to take advantage of free WiFi; that is until I got to this hotel.) The little details were delightful surprises around every corner. They always refer to guests as ”laoshi” (an honorific of teacher, or master, bestowed to actors) or as ”starlet”. Not gonna lie, I really wanted to take home the pair of the room's bone china cups. The stay also comes with very decent breakfast buffet that had both Chinese and western dishes. They will even make you fresh wontons and noodle soups to order. The restaurants in the park are not great and quite expensive by China's standard. I recommend loading up at the more tasty free breakfast to power through the day. The hotel's location was very convenient for touring Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street; which had very lively evening shows. (As you walk through the streets, look at the stores' signs and test your TV shows and movie knowledge by finding the Easter eggs.) The Qing Ming Palace Set is across the street from the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street's South Gateon the other side of the park (don't worry, it's not that far). To access the other sets, you can take their shuttle, but it does not come around very often. It's more efficient to get a Didi. Overall, it was a magical stay of being in the movies.

I booked the Five Lakes Riverside Balcony Room with Main Channel View and Bathroom at Regalia Riverside for Dec 30 and 31, 2025. The room looks exactly as it does in the photos. The balcony has plug ins, teapot, teacups and tea prepared for you. Across the balcony, you can see the famous bridge and the boat station. You can also see up and down the channel. Room size is good for 2 persons. In the room is a heater/AC which worked perfectly and Ms. Sun also kindly turned on the heater since she knew my arrival time. The room has a kettle but no cups, coffee. Luckily I had brought my own. Also, know that the hotel does not provide breakfast - not a problem for me but for those we eat breakfast, just step outside. Location is perfect, it's in the heart of ancient town so easy to walk everywhere. Outside your door is snack street and at the end of the street is a ”food court”. Despite it's central location and opposite of the boat station, the noise was manageable. When I closed the balcony doors, I didn't hear anything (maybe too cold for people to loiter around?). Everyone was very nice and kind. Ms. Sun went out of her way to help me with my return bus ticket to Hangzhou, giving me directions on how to arrive at the hotel/meeting point where she waited for me, and her colleague even walked and waited for my car when I departed for Hangzhou. Going from Hangzhou to Xitang was an adventure as I read many different versions and my hotel told me another in my research. All in all, i highly recommend Regalia and Xitang! Thank you to Ms Sun and everyone for making my 2026 new year experience so memorable!

Gute Lage, guter Service. Zwei Tage und eine Nacht lang waren die Servicemitarbeiter, die ich traf, alle sehr herzlich und begrüßten mich herzlich und halfen mir proaktiv bei der Richtung, Route und als ich ein Restaurant zum Frühstück suchte, auch die Servicemitarbeiter in der Lobby half, den Shuttlebus zu rufen. Ich habe mein Frühstück im Zhenshui Hotel sehr genossen. Es gab frisch gekochte Nudeln, frisch gekochten Haferbrei und Latte-Kaffee. Zum Abendessen empfahl das Servicepersonal das Yusheng Hotel. Jedes Gericht war sehr lecker! Vielen Dank für die Empfehlung! Das Zimmer war auch sehr komfortabel, die Handtücher waren sauber und nützlich und es war den Preis wert.

Der Chef der Volkswagen ist ein alter Paar, sehr freundlich und gut. Wir bestellen gerade einen Mais in Richtung Norden. Sobald ich ins Volkswagen kam, sagte der Chef mir, dass ein großes Schlafzimmer im Norden leer ist, das mir aktualisiert werden kann 🥳🥳. Die Lage der Volksbewohner liegt nahe dem Strand von Dawang. Wenn Sie zu Fuß gehen, können Sie 10 Minuten dauern. Sie gehen auf dem Weg zum Strand von Dawang über ihren Speisenmarkt und eine Straße, die sie essen. Es ist, dass das Haus in der Halbinsel liegt, der Berg ist leicht zu runter und es ist schwer zu hoch, besonders wir haben das Baby mit, das Baby ist noch nicht bereit, zu gehen. Wie viel Hoffnung es auf einem Elektroauto haben würde, aber weil die Straße auf der Insel zu viel ist, ist es wirklich gefährlich, Also sind auf der Insel einige Taxis 🚕 (die Reise basiert auf diesem). Am nächsten Tag gingen wir zum Restaurant und kauften die Küche, um uns die Volksbewohner zu verarbeiten, sauber und gesund zu machen und den Geschmack ist auch gut.

Der Raum ist belüftet und gut beleuchtet. Es ist nicht der Luxus, der mir gefällt, sondern die kostenlosen Einweg- und Badetücher, die Menschen, die nicht ausreichend vorbereitet sind, ein sehr gutes Gefühl geben. Daneben gibt es ein Restaurant namens Taifengzhai, das so einen Versuch wert ist, dass ich den Bewertungen auf Dianping nicht mehr traue. Der Chef ist jung und sehr nett. Obwohl die Produktion des geschenkten Lackfächers nicht sehr erfolgreich war, war ich dennoch sehr zufrieden.

Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen bei Weitem übertroffen! Schon beim Betreten empfängt einen eine wunderbare Atmosphäre nach Büchern, und wenn man weitergeht, fühlt man sich wie in einer traditionellen chinesischen Landschaftsmalerei – schlicht und doch beeindruckend. Der Service war unglaublich persönlich und zuvorkommend: Als ein besseres Zimmer frei wurde, haben sie uns sofort ein kostenloses Upgrade angeboten. Jede Anfrage wurde umgehend erfüllt, man fühlte sich wirklich wie zu Hause! Dadurch habe ich mich sofort mit dem ansonsten unbekannten Linjiang verbunden gefühlt. Es lohnt sich definitiv, mit der Familie wiederzukommen!

Das Gasthaus liegt in einer malerischen Gegend und ist insgesamt kostengünstig. Nanxun ist sehr beliebt, um die nächtliche Aussicht auf die Stadt und den Morgenmarkt zu genießen. Der Changxing-Pavillon gegenüber ist gut und die Qianji-Mutton-Nudeln auf der anderen Seite sind gut Sehr gut. Außerdem sind die im Xuntu Store in der Altstadt verkauften Schweinefüße ebenfalls sehr gut. Nanxun ist einen Besuch wert.

The hotel is in a very good location, it's nice and quiet. It is near the scienic area entrance and the parking lot. It took us less than 5min to walk to the hotel. We have to check in at the Zicha visitor centre. Staff is friendly and polite even their English speaking is very limited. They went out of their way to help and give us enough information for our trip. The hotel is a bit old but still well maintained. The bed is comfy and the room is very clean, the shower pressure is good as well. I took the packages which is including unlimited access to the water town and the shuttle bus driving us to the other end of the water town. I used it on the way back as I was tired to walk back. The only negative point is the breakfast is very plain as they don't have many choices. They did'nt even served the coffee. However we can go inside the water town to enjoy the local breakfast with the lovely vibe. Overall I am quite happy with it as my main trip is to explore the water town in the evening and early morning. I am not hesitated to recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Das Aufenthaltserlebnis ist nicht sehr ideal. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer kann nicht kalt werden, und die ganze Nacht fühlt sich die Wärme unbehaglich. Ich wollte das Fenster durchluft öffnen, aber ich fand einen Schlaf, schloss schnell ab, und der Duft, der vor dem Schlaf geboten wurde, konnte nicht vollständig vermieden werden, die Qualität des Schlafes beeinflusst. Hoffentlich kann das Hotel die Klimaanlage so schnell wie möglich reparieren und die Arbeit der Wurstschlamm zerstören. Das Frühstück ist nicht schlecht, obwohl es nicht selbst unterstützt wird, aber auch sehr gesund und die Tee ist sehr lecker. Die Rezeption ist auch sehr gemütlich, der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und ich hoffe, dass die Folge verbessert werden kann.
