Großer Service von Personal. Ich war 4 Tage in Verde und die ganze Erfahrung war wirklich wie nichts, was ich in meinem Leben erlebt habe. Die Sonne aus dem Balkon mit Blick auf die Docking-Schiffe und Boote war ein besonderes Augenmerk, wie es in den warmen Gewässern des Indischen Ozeans schwimmt. Im Hinblick auf die Wartepersonal waren Leticia und Hidaya besonders hilfreich.

Excellent hotel in great location We used TA to choose hotel for our stay in Zanzibar as we were unsure in what location on the island to base ourselves As it worked out we were very pleased that we chose the Medinat Al Bahrain as our base. Excellent hotel, very quiet - in fact sometimes we felt as if we had the place to ourselves. Good food, great buffet breakfast and two restaurants to choose from on site. Conveniently located not far from airport especially after long connecting flight via Dubai ($10 cab fare) and same distance into Stonetown ($10 cab fare) Small public beach attached to hotel and a nice restaurant (Wooden Table) 100yds along beach After experiencing Stonetown we were glad that we stayed slightly out as the town is very busy and some hotels we first looked at could be hard to find down inaccessible (by vehicle) alleys. We did visit on a couple of occasions to do the walking tour and restaurants (Cape Town Fish Market - see separate review) - again location of hotel made visiting easy and there were a number of restaurants/bars that we could also have visited given the time. The hotel was also a good base for visiting other parts of the island which we did through Alsa Tours Zanzibar (reviewed separately) Issa (the concierge) arranged for us to meet Abdul (the owner) from Alsa Tours at the hotel who was our guide/driver for the tours that we did - prices were good and very competitive with other tour operators and more personal as tours in most cases were private We did (all reviewed separately): The North - Turtle Sanctuary/Kendra beach West - Spice Farm/Prison Island/Walking tour of Stonetown East - Butterfly Sanctuary/Jozani Forest/The Rock Restaurant South East - Safari Blue - boat trip/snorkelling/beach bbq Would say that the hotel was a great choice hotel was maticulously clean and the staff always friendly helpful and accommodating which made for a perfect stay Would highly recommend to any travellers to Zanzibar

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel, Lage war großartig, Service war brillant. Genau in der Nähe des Flughafens auch. Zimmer war wirklich schön, Dusche war großartig. Liebe den Geschäften und einige Restaurants in der Nähe. Ich würde empfehlen und wieder bleiben!

Wir haben dieses Hotel für einige Tage als Basis für Stone Town und andere Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe benutzt. Dafür ist es gut geeignet, wenn man Transportmittel (Mietwagen!) organisiert. Die Lage ist in der Nähe des Flughafens, davon ist aber praktisch nichts zu hören oder zu sehen, es ist insgesamt sehr ruhig. Das Hotel ist sehr abgelegen, es gibt zu Fuß keinerlei Geschäfte oder andere Restaurants. Meiner Meinung nach ist ein Mietwagen ein Muss. Für Strandurlaub ist es hier völlig ungeeignet: es gibt keinen Strand (bzw. nur Steine), und den Pool mochten wir nicht benutzen (klein und wirkte nicht sauber). Das Hotel ist sehr neu und modern, die Zimmer geräumig, hell und praktisch. Trinkwasser wird jeden Tag aufgefüllt (Plastikflaschen...). Beim Checkin mussten wir bis ca. 15:00 warten, obwohl das Hotel bei weitem nicht ausgebucht aussah. Selbst danach ging es etwas zäh: Handtücher fehlten, auch Teile der Bettwäsche. Ansonsten war das Personal aber immer sehr nett und freundlich, insbesondere am Restaurant. Das Frühstück war für uns super, neben einem kleinen Büffet wurde Eier auf Wunsch zubereitet. Das gleiche kleine, offene Restaurant war auch für weitere Mahlzeiten gut geeignet und hat nicht enttäuscht. WLAN hat bis in die Zimmer gereicht und war in Ordnung.

Wir verbrachten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im DOZ vom 29. August bis 10. September 2019.nous Wir waren sehr gut begrüßt. Vielen Dank an Mwinyi, der uns Ausflüge mit einem privaten Fahrer organisiert hat, um unseren Aufenthalt angenehm zu machen. Wir empfehlen den verschiedenen Restaurants, das sehr gut zu essen. Was das Frühstück betrifft, so sagen wir, dass Fruchtsäfte frisch sind und mit echtem Fruchtsäfte sind nicht die Fruchtsäfte, die in der Brieftasche gearbeitet werden, wie einige Leute sagen. Es ist ein hervorragendes Hotel, das Personal ist immer auf dem Strand kleine Pflege, Frühstück, Abendessen und immer mit dem Lächeln. Cocktails sind sehr gut. Zanzibar ist ein wunderschönes Land, wo es sehr schöne Strände. Wir werden dort ohne zu lange warten, bevor ein Massentourismus das das Bild dieses wunderschönen Land verschlechtern könnte. Nur ein kleiner bmol den Geruch in den verschiedenen Toiletten des Hotels wahrscheinlich ein Problem in den Kanalisationen. Noch ein großes Dankeschön an Mwinyi und das Personal des ZUS.
