Boutique Hotel's

Der alte kommunistische Block wurde in eine Art Hotel verwandelt! Überall auf dem Tisch lief in der Nacht der Wasserkocher aus, was gefährlich sein könnte. Teppich und Bettbehang waren sehr schmutzig, der Lichtschirm über dem Bett wurde mit winzigen Papieraufklebern zusammengehalten, die nicht hielten und so auseinanderfielen. Da es keine Verdunklungsjalousien gab, schien die Sonne in den Raum und es war sehr heiß. Im Zimmer gab es keine funktionierende Klimaanlage.

Very basic hotel which is what we paid for but it was unclean. Disgusting bed sheets that we didn’t notice until the next day (after sleeping in them all night). We got in late and didn’t expect to have to inspect our bed sheets before getting into bed but what a mistake that was. Looks like old blood? Smeared all over the bedding and we had to change the bedding ourselves using one of the spare single beds that was in the room. Also had to change rooms because our door wouldn’t shut properly or lock. I not stay here or recommend staying here if you like clean, safe hotels.

This hotel was extremely hard to review so please see bellow pros and cons I found. Cons - Bed was tiny, it was a large single bed when we booked a double room. Me and my mum had to share this tiny bed. Wasn’t even a 3/4, the room was really large for such a small bed so we think it used to be a twin and they had taken the other bed out. (Room 213 for ref) - we added breakfast on when we got there but they hadn’t communicated this with the breakfast staff so I had to prove from my mobile bank transactions we had actually paid for breakfast - bed sheets didn’t fit bed and duvet was to small for 2 people to share - Wi-Fi didn’t work on the first day Pros - Bathroom was lovely & clean as was room in general - Breakfast was good but it was very European esk so don’t expect a full English. - we stopped in January where the temperature reached lows of -13 and the room was lovely and warm! Overall not a terrible hotel but wouldn’t rush to go back, staff were friendly just needed a little more communication between each other :)

Lovely Hotel buses and tram station literally on the doorstep. Big room with comfortable beds excellent shower with hairdryer. Staff most pleasant and happy to answer basic question . Breakfast is from 7am to 10 am and is £10 per person which can be paid at reception before you go into breakfast. Best check the restaurant first before you pay £10 to see if there is enough food. It is a buffet and lots of coach trips use the restaurant so breakfast goes quickly. On our last day most of the food had gone but we did have tea and coffee and managed to have a little scrambled egg and ham so £20 for two was expensive. So check restaurant before you pay at reception. All in all very enjoyable experience. Supermarket and shops nearby.

After reading some of the reviews I was a little apprehensive about staying here! I am however to say it was absolutely fine! It is definitely not the ritz, but for the price it was clean and tidy, if you do want super fluffy towels and mints on pillows then maybe it isn’t for you. The staff were nice and friendly and it was in a convenient location. I felt quite safe as a solo traveller. My only criticism would be that the rooms are hot but they provided a fan which helped massively.

Key factor for choosing this place by a travel agent for my business trip (single room, one night, literally 10 hrs) was walking distance from the office... I will definitely ask never to book this place for anybody in the future… don’t know the cost but the standard is worth no more than dozens of PLN, at least I would not give more for what I experienced during the stay. Single room is empty but very basic, no iron, no safe. Seems clean but… towels are gray rather than white, and very used, one has a stain - seemed like blood, unacceptable and disgusting! Bathroom was a mess, broken shower, mold and dirt as seen in the photos. The ONLY positive thing was quite decent breakfast.

The hotel is very basic but most importantly it is very dirty. I would not recommend staying especially with children as it could pose risk to health. There is no air con and it the summer it is a huge problem. The management have no understanding of basic hygiene and cleanliness provision in hotel environment. Whilst acknowledging there was dirt, they did not seem to understand the seriousness of the issue, blaming the housekeeping staff. We were offered another room instead but it also showed signs of housekeeping mismanagement. We were offered a negligent compensation in a rude and dishonest manner. I would avoid due to health and safety risks.
