I love the river view from all of the rooms and the convenient hot tub. It was odd not having a sink or an electrical outlet in the bathroom. It was awkward to have to wash my hands, brush my teeth, etc., in the main room with my traveling companions there. There also was no table for us to sit and eat the food that we had brought with us.

How great. Clean rooms affordable price friendly service and the sound of the river outside your room at night asking with an amazing sunrise. Free parking and right next to the great artsy stores coffee shops and bakeries downtown. Love it!

We like Hotel Rio Vista for it's proximity to town and it's riverside location. All rooms have a private balcony overlooking the river with a screened entry, nice for keeping open at night to listen to the river flow by. There is a homey feeling to the rooms that feels right for Winthrop.
The only negative comment I have regards the hotel's choice of promoting FOX News on it's TVs. When you turn on the TV, FOX is the channel that you always get first. And it is difficult to change channels for a few minutes. While some might like this, I do not. It would be better if the TV just came on to the Guide Channel.

Office staff were pleasant. Check-in was quick. Our room was small, but clean. Sleeping hours were quiet. We would stay again.

The view of the river was amazing for the room, loved sitting on the deck having drinks and watching it go by. Nice and quite easy walking distance to the town. Staff were just ok asked for an extra pillow and they said they had none. Also not helpful no pamphlets on trails how to get to them that would be helpful. Over all good place to stay.

Perfect!
We stayed 3 nights, quiet room was very clean, great staff. Free parking and right in town, you can walk to everything. Our go to for meals was 3 finger Jack’s Saloon, really good food. and the bakery right next door for coffee and breakfast, great breakfast burritos. Private balconies on the river we spent alot of time there relaxing. We had a really good trip, fun exploring!

Fabulous location - easy stroll to all the shops in Winthrop. Every room has a lovely view of the river. Safe parking area. Comfortable rooms and private balconies.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Winthrop with a deck looking over the rivers.
The criticism that I have is that when you turn the television on it goes to FOX News. Please let it go to a less controversial channel!
