From the moment Margo stepped out to greet us, we knew we would have a wonderful time. The location is beautiful, right on Lake Erie, with steps going down to a small beach. Margo and Keith have got to be the most welcoming, kind people we have ever had the privilege of staying with. Their B&B is beautiful, in keeping with a cottage vibe with all the modern amenities. And the breakfasts? Utterly amazing. It was all so delicious, and we both could eat Margo's bacon forever. The easy conversations, time spent sitting outside with a glass of wine and their other guest made for a truly wonderful experience. We plan on making the area a yearly biking weekend, mostly so we can stay with Margo and Keith again!

This was the greatest chance find I’ve ever made. Had been looking for a place to stay in the region, but nothing was available at a reasonable price. This BnB has a mystical feel to it, very serene and peaceful. You are dotted on from the moment you arrive, but not smothered. It feels like going to visit your favourite aunt and uncle for a night, or for however long you stay.

Our fourth time staying here, and it just gets better. Delicious breakfasts with view of Lake Erie. Hosts continue to add niceties. Great for birding as they will accommodate either a 6:30 AM breakfast ( or pre- made if you are going out earlier). Wine at night. We are so glad the be able to go back up.

We stayed at Omstead's on Erie last weekend - because we were birdwatching at Point Pelee. Can't say enough good things about it!! The hosts - Margo and Keith- were welcoming, engaging and lots of fun. The location was perfect for access to the National Park at Point Pelee. I have never stayed at a place where there was so much attention to detail - absolutely everything has been thought of. But let's get down to it - THE FOOD - so good! Go for the birding - stay for the food!

This is a lovely and quiet property with incredibly gracious hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed getting to sit lakeside on a cool summer evening, being treated to local food delights, and feeling welcomed like friends.

The location was perfect, on the shore of Lake Erie. There’s several areas outside to rest and visit by the lake. The hot breakfasted were out of this world! And the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Margot and Keith are the quintessential hosts. They have a wonderful home and they have an amazing backyard and patio that hugs Lake Erie's shoreline. The breakfast would win a prize in a gourmet cooking magazine. My wife and I have travelled around the world and this is, by far, without a doubt, the VERY BEST BNB we have ever stayed at. Thank you Margot and Keith for making our stay so relaxing, so welcoming and so easy. We will stay with you again, that's for sure!

A fantastic and unique experience! The property is located right by the water with incredible view of Lake Erie, stunning night sky, the milky way and gorgeous sunrise. Margo has a world of knowledge on everything and was the friendliest host I ever have at a B&B. We were treated with such attentiveness, from bringing us quilts while we sat outside to leaving flashlight & bug spray knowing that we planned to stargaze in the middle of the night. The breakfast, oh the breakfast! Five star food with five star service! Just the food she served at breakfast is enough reason to stay there!! Love to go back!

This was the best b&b experience we have ever had. Margo and Keith were very welcoming hosts, and their home was so lovely and comfortable, with a beautiful view right on the lake (the pictures on here do not do it justice!). And oh my gosh - the food! Margo is an excellent cook, her breakfasts were unbelievable. Everything was just so lovely, we did not want to leave. We will definitely stay at the Omstead’s on Erie B&B if ever we are back in the area.
