The Dormy House Hotel

The location is absolutely stunning and really well decorated. Food wise there is a good variety, the carvery provided a good selection and there were other option that looked good too. Overall the staff are really welcoming and attentive. I would recommend visiting as it had a homely feel to the place.

This place is absolutely exceptional. The staff were warm, friendly and efficient. It was set in a lovely rural location with sea views. Outstanding breakfast including fresh fruit and berries and great dinner too. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We decided to visit the hotel and use the facilities provided for motorhome users We were really impressed with the reception we got the facilities provided and the staffs friendly approach As part of the requirement for using the hotel’s facilities we were required to eat in the restaurant We decided to try the carvery as the logo stated ‘ Best roast on the Coast ‘ well I can honestly say they weee not kidding it was the best carvery I had ever had four meats and veg to die for Other guest we spoke to had used the ala cart menu and were also very impressed The whole hotel ouses class we will definitely be returning

Went for the carvery as enjoyed it so much the last time we came. My husband had it too this time and we can confirm it is 'the best roast on the coast' so many veggies, e collect roasts and yorkies and you can go back (though we had no more room!). Very good price too at £13.95. Lovely views out from the outdoor seating at back too. Highly recommended!!

Very friendly, comfortable accommodation, great for dining. We had a lovely carvery for dinner and a very nice breakfast. Breakfast was included in the price. There's great views and parking. All in all a good experience.

Motorhome stopover. Have visited this place 3 or 4 times over the last couple of years . Large carpark. Wonderful carvery daily at a reasonable price plus other options on the menu. Very convenient location . Highly recommend. Very helpful owner and staff

The Dormy House done us proud!, hosting our wedding reception. Helped the day run smoothly, providing everything we needed. Food was amazing, 🤩, catering for over 100 people. Staff were friendly. We booked for a carvery at the Dormy House Hotel for today and although they were very busy, the staff still managed to be helpful and welcoming. The food was lovely and would definitely recommend a visit if you’re in the area. Thank you Dormy House

We booked a table for 2 for 2:30pm weeks ago knowing it would be busy on Easter Sunday. We arrived at 2:15pm to find the place heaving, we made our way to Reception to let them know we were here to be confronted by a stressed, rude old Woman with a clipboard, before we could speak we got "The Resteraunt is full, I can't fit you in" we told her we had a reservation for 2:30pm to be told "Wait! We are full" Now, it's Easter Sunday, we can't just leave and get a Chicken to cook at Home so we waited. Eventually she came over and invited us in with a Grumpy "Go on through" as she walked away I Growled at her! A very Cheerful Waitress came to our table and took our order, Two Carverys, four Meat and all the Veg your plate can hold. Look my name up in the Dictionary and it will say I don't like a Roast Dinner! This Carvery was the Muts! Everything cooked as it should be, all hot and plentiful, a good helping of Meat, we will be happy to return so long as we can avoid Mein Host!
