During my stays in Vienna, I always chose Pension Residenz due to its central location and the good access to the public transport. Although located in the first district, it is a quite place. WiFi in the room is excellent. The room itself are always spacious, clean and comfortable. Recently, the owner of Pension Residenz has changed. During my earlier four stays in 2020 and 2021, I always could count on the nice and helpful reception staff and a decent breakfast. I also enjoyed the small talks in the morning. This time, though, it turned out that the hotel has a self-service, does not offer breakfast and is available only at given times. The worst thing, however, relates to the invoice which I still have not received. The staff did not respond on my questions sent via Booking and promised an invoice only after my phone call. My stay in Vienna was a business trip and if I don't receive an invoice with the data of my employer, I will get very angry with it. Such a problem never existed when the earlier staff ran Pension Residenz.
