Coccodrillo Hotel & Apartments

Die Anlage ist ziemlich veraltet. Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung gebucht, aber es war gerade noch genug Platz, um um das Bett herumzugehen. Das Badezimmer ist ebenfalls sehr klein, allerdings mit einer neuen und großen Dusche. Hervorzuheben ist der Komfort der Matratze und das hervorragende WLAN. Es gibt keinen Verdunklungsvorhang und morgens fällt viel Licht durch die Jalousien. Der Zug fährt in der Nähe vorbei, aber die Schalldämmung ist gut.

What a find! Fantastic little hotel. Absolutely spotless, the staff never stopped cleaning, the lifeguard was scrubbing away every little stain on the ground when the pool closed, never seen the like! We had two adjacent rooms for the 3 of us with huge terraces with sunloungers facing the pool. Never heard the trains, even though we could see the station from our balcony. A perfect 30 minute train trip from Genoa airport, €4 each way! Rooms were excellent with the most comfortable beds, a mini bar and excellent aircon and wifi. Great housekeeping, such hard workers! I'd recommend booking the room with a terrace, so big, with comfy sunloungers and a view of the sea. (Ours was room 211). The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. We hadn't realised it was a holiday weekend in Italy and hadn't booked restaurants. We were lucky to get a table Friday night in a lovely spot, but when we tried several places to book for the Saturday, everything was full. The wonderful Silvia at the hotel got us not only a table in a fabulous restaurant on a holiday weekend, but the best table, on the terrace, beautiful views, dining to the sound of the waves! It was so good we returned for lunch the next day. The hotel is 5 minutes from the beach and they have a deal with a beach club, but we hadn't booked and it was full, as were all of them. It didn't matter, we loved the pool with comfy sunloungers and parasols. Varazze is the perfect destination, all Italians who were so friendly and welcoming, amazing restaurants with stunning seafood, home made pasta and fantastic prices. There are lovely shops cafés and bars, all within a couple of minutes from the hotel. Thanks Hotel Coccodrillo staff for a wonderful holiday with my mother and sister. Highly recommended!!

Friendly staff and great breakfast buffet.

Booked this hotel quickly and with limited research, as needed an overnight stay in the area. Despite the website saying the rooms have air conditioning, please be aware that this function is only available for a limited period only as the main hotel system is totally shut down at intervals. I appreciate energy consumption is probably an issue, but it needs to be made clear on the website if something is not available to me during my stay.. This meant that when we arrived it was very hot in the room, which after a long drive was a bit disappointing. It also shut down again at 11pm till 6am, so had a very hot and bothered night Not ideal, as we had a very long drive the next day. Probably not so much of an issue in cooler weather, but not when it is hot! Think with a bit more research, there must be better places to stay and visit than here for the price. The walk to the beach is a bit rough and ready and when you do get to the Med, the free bit of sand that is available is very teeny tiny! Breakfast, the pool and staff were all fine. But it must be said, they had limited interest in the air conditional issue, despite me reporting it 4 separate times (including going down to reception at 12 midnight and again at 2am when I was not able to sleep because it was so hot!!!)

We came extremely late to the hotel without no booking. Mr Antonio was so nice to us and kindly offer us a place we could overnight. We had a very short stop but long enough to realize this was a perfect stay. The place was very clean, the breakfast delicious especially the coffee, the swimming pool very cozy and the personal so nice. We highly recommend this place. Thanks Antonio and Sylvia.

Hotel e residence bellissimo, molto pulito e ben organizzato per tutte le esigenze. Accoglienza ottima, personale educato e molto preparato. Stanze molto belle, confortevoli e ben arredate. Colazione abbondante e molto buona sia dolce che salata. La struttura è dotata di una piscina bellissima e mai affollata. Comodissimo perchè è a due passi dalla stazione e mediante il sottopasso è un'attimo raggiungere il centro e la spiaggia.

Ho prenotato un appartamento con tutti i servizi dell’hotel (ancora devo capire quali fossero): -pagato il servizio colazione a parte: buffet nella media, ma con prodotti confezionati e il peggio è stato ritrovarmi una giuncata alle erbe nel buffet per tutta l’intera settimana del mio soggiorno, e uova sode che dentro erano verdi. - non è possibile effettuare pranzo e cena in struttura. -Materassi durissimi e scomodi, ho chiesto per un topper anche pagando e non ne avevano. -pagato il parcheggio: a 100m dall’hotel e molto risicato per chi ha una grande macchina. -avevo un cane e una bambina piccola, l’uscita dell’hotel purtroppo si trova in una curva nella strada e quindi pericolosa: una volta non ho fatto un tempo ad attraversare che il cane ha fatto pipì, non nell’hotel, ma nella strada davanti ad esso ed il bagnino ci ha pure sgridati che avrebbe attirato gli altri cani, ci siamo scusati ed è stato insistente, mi chiedo a cosa serva allora pagare una sovrattassa per un cane se ciò non viene messo in conto. - un pomeriggio l’acqua calda non funzionava e abbiamo fatto la doccia alla bambina scaldando l’acqua sul fuoco, chiamato alla reception la signora ci ha risposto che era da sola e non poteva aiutarci - la piscina è aperta solo 2h la mattina e 2h il pomeriggio (assurdo in una zona di mare) Ho pagato l’intero soggiorno al check in, anche se avrei potuto farlo dopo, ho espresso più volte il mio disappunto anche al check out e la risposta è stata: lei è una mosca bianca! Beh signora una mosca bianca che non si poserà mai più su questa m***a! Mi dispiace che questa sia l’accoglienza a Varazze. Prezzo esagerato: per intenderci ho pagato lo stesso prezzo in una suite di un’ hotel 5 stelle a Rimini. Il resto del personale soprattutto il receptionist Giulio e le donne delle colazioni sono sempre stati gentilissimi.

Albergo grazioso, a due passi dalla stazione, a cinque minuti dal centro. Il sottopasso per raggiungere centro e spiaggia è confortevole, illuminato giorno e notte, c'è sempre gente che passa quindi non c'è nessun pericolo. All'uscita, c'è subito il centro e i negozi. L'albergo è pulito, l'accoglienza molto buona. La nostra camera era molto molto bella, ben arredata, tutto nuovo. Un letto comodissimo, cabina armadio favolosa, tendaggi oscuranti molto belli, bagno nuovo con una bellissima doccia spaziosa e piacevole. Solo due cose non mi sono piaciute: una è stata la mancanza del balcone, quindi non potevamo attendere ad asciugare i costumi, e una vista veramente triste, sulle case adiacenti. L'altra cosa è stata la scarsa insonorizzazione delle stanze, e le porte che quando chiudono fanno rumore, e purtroppo abbiamo trovato dei vicini di camera molto maleducati, che urlavano e sbattevano le porte sia a tarda notte, che al mattino presto. Molto gentile anche tutto il personale delle pulizie. Carina e piacevole anche la piscina, mai affollata.
