Marriott's StreamSide Evergreen at Vail Bewertungen

Wir lieben dieses Resort, aber ich habe ein paar Vorschläge. In diesem Gebäude gibt es keine Balkone. Wenn Ihnen das wichtig ist, versuchen Sie es mit dem anderen Gebäude. Die Fernseher sind keine Smart-TVs. Der Pool ist seit April außer Betrieb, also sitzen alle in einem Whirlpool und dieser ist manchmal überfüllt. Die Aussicht vom Whirlpool ist herrlich! Das Personal ist freundlich. Die Anlage ist extrem sauber und auf dem neuesten Stand. Die Zimmermädchen haben uns gebeten, vor unserer Abreise allen Müll und Recyclingmüll rauszubringen und die Spülmaschine laufen zu lassen. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt, eine 4-Meilen-Fahrt auf dem Radweg in die beiden Hauptdörfer. Wir haben hier schon einmal übernachtet und werden wiederkommen. Der Shuttle ist nett, aber nicht immer pünktlich. Wir mussten ziemlich lange im Vail Transportation Center warten, um nach Hause zu kommen. Zur gleichen Zeit fuhr dort ein Greyhound nach Dallas, also war das Transportation Center wirklich überfüllt. Außerdem wartete eine andere Familie mit einem schreienden Baby auf unseren Shuttle. Ein paar mehr Aktivitäten auf dem Programm wären schön. Die Saunen und der Fitnessraum sind nett. Der Fitnessraum hat eine gute Größe und bietet alles, was man braucht.

Wunderbares Anwesen, vor allem für den Preis. Sehr angenehm überrascht, wie geräumig die Suite war. Wir hatten eine voll ausgestattete Küche und jede Menge Platz zum Atmen für unsere fünfköpfige Familie. Whirlpool direkt vor der Hintertür, sowie ein Raquetball-/Basketballplatz, Tischtennisplatte und Innen-/Außenpool im Hauptgebäude. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. Sehr praktische Lage, direkt an der I-70. Wir wären länger geblieben, wenn wir gekonnt hätten, aber wir mussten die Kinder nach einem 4-tägigen Wochenende wieder zur Schule bringen. Dieses Anwesen steht auf unserer Auswahlliste, wenn wir das nächste Mal eine Reise nach Vail planen.

Wir sind Besitzer eines Marriott Vacation Club und haben uns für einen Aufenthalt im August hauptsächlich deshalb für diesen Ort entschieden, weil er verfügbar und nicht teuer war, da die meisten Leute im Winter nach Vail fahren. Es war ein schöner Ort zum Entspannen. Die Aktivitäten sind hauptsächlich für Outdoor-Fans: Radfahren, Wandern usw. Das Clubhaus ist einfach und etwas veraltet. Kein Restaurant oder Minimarkt, aber wir mussten nie warten, um Billard oder Tischtennis zu spielen, wann immer wir wollten. Sie haben einen Racketballplatz in einen halben Basketballplatz verwandelt, was meinen Kindern Spaß machte. Wir hatten die Fitnesseinrichtungen oft für uns alleine. Das Resort ist eine kurze Auto- oder Shuttlefahrt vom Dorf entfernt. Es liegt in der Nähe von 2 Supermärkten – man kann in 25-30 Minuten zu Fuß hingehen. Das Zimmer war geräumig und die Aussicht auf den Bach war schön. Kein Balkon in unserem Gebäude und die Küche war eng. Ansonsten ein sehr schönes Zimmer.

This resort is in a beautiful area. The town of Vail which is a short distance away was well maintained. The resort however is not up to the standards of a Marriott Vacation Club. Having been to many Marriott Vacation Clubs across the country we found this one to be the worst one we have been too. Saying that the two bedroom we are in is well stocked and the rooms appears to have some newer furniture and new carpets. The beds are very comfortable and we haven’t heard anyone else in other rooms. The pool however is very dirty. The drains around the pool were all backed up with murky water sitting around the drains. The pool looks very dated. The gate didn’t latch properly. And the flooring around the pool is flaking off. Although the rooms look nice the exterior of the resort is worn out and old. I would try and find a better place in Vail if you have the option. This appears to be an RCI resort rather than a Marriott Vacation Club.

The streamside Evergreen at Vail was very comfortable, with a full kitchen and bedrooms. Our room had stacked washer and dryer. Also, it was conveniently located near Beaver Creek and West Vail. The concierge was expecially helpful with suggestions for hiking. The only negative point - we couldn't see the nearby creek from our room. However, we could see it when we went to the outdoor pool. Lovely place!

We recently stayed at Marriott's StreamSide in Vail, CO, and were granted a late checkout. However, when we returned to our room before the agreed time, housekeeping had removed all our items, including over $300 worth of food and drinks plus some personal items. The hotel manager, Daniel, initially promised compensation and a free stay but has since been unresponsive. This lack of follow-through is highly disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend this hotel due to their poor handling of guest issues.

Very nice property for traveling with family. We had a condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a very nice kitchen and living room, with a fireplace. It was perfect for us. The location is a bit far from Vail Village, so it's not optimal if you don't have a car. The pool and activities are in a different building, so that also was a bit tricky to navigate in the snow. Other than that, great property.

We had a fabulous time staying here! Check in was a breeze, and JJ at the counter made it easy. We needed a unit that had few/no stairs, and she accommodated us! We used the hot tub several times in the four days we were there and saw some wildlife there, too! Our unit was clean and very comfortable. The beds, bedding and pillows were amazing. We would absolutely book this again.

My Mom is a Marriott Vacation Club member, which is why she picked this location for our family Easter trip. We had a situation where my ski flew off of the shuttle where it was not properly secured. I had my skis on the back of the shuttle, and when we arrived at the property, only one of my skis was there. The driver and I went back to look at the pick up location, to see if the missing ski was left behind. When we got back to the resort, my boyfriend and I looked up and down where the shuttle drove between the pick up and drop off spot. We found my ski propped up on a wood post on the side of the frontage road. Someone had saw it on the road, pulled over, picked it off the road, and propped it up. I did find there was damage on the ski and reported it to the front desk, and hoped I would receive compensation for the repairs as the damage was a result of falling off of the Marriott shuttle. I had to get my skis repaired at the shop, resulting in losing a ski day, and personal money on the repair. These were brand new skis and bindings and after communicating with Liberty Mutual, they denied my claim saying that Marriott was not responsible, and would not reimburse for the damages. The reason I write this review is because my Mom had reached out to the property GM directly, who said he would get back to her but never did. She had her own issues with a mouse in the condo and never received any acknowledgement of the situation or mine. Mistakes happen, but this is a big mistake and a very dangerous one that should be addressed. A ski flying off of a shuttle can cause serious damage and the outcome could have been much worse if the car behind us had not stopped before hitting the ski. I wish this property would acknowledge and apologize for the inconvenience that was caused, and I hope they learn from this, and look at the safety of their ski racks so this never happens again.

This is one of the best Marriott Vacation Club Hotels I have stayed. The kitchenette is quite well equipped. There's a shuttle that takes guests to Golden Peak, Lionshead or Vail Village. Safeway market is right in front of the hotel. So, this is a great place to stay. The staff is wonderful.

This is a lovely choice if like us you are using a time share exchange week. Even in the COVID era there are nice amenities including a swimming pool, hot tubs, a steam room and sauna. Our suite was ample, very clean and well equipped. There's a big laundry room in the building.
