Kali Adventure Camp by Jungle Lodges

One of the best stay in dandeli. Very clean, well maintained, good food, lots of activities to cover in a day. The safari is the highlight. Would definitely recommend

this is run by Jungle lodge of Karnataka tourism so everything works like a clock work here. check in at 1pm, lunch till 3pm, Kali tiger reserve Safari at 3.30pm, tea at 6.30 and Dinner at 8.30pm. Next day, breakfast from 8.30am, coracle ride and check out at 10.30am the food is quite good and the variety offered suits the south Indian palette more. there are enough option for vegetarians. but for non veg lovers it's just chicken gravies, eggs and fried river fish. the tents are spacious and while the bed linen is quite clean, the tent itself needs some cleaning, the curtain, cobwebs, corners etc. seemed asking for attention nocturnal insects and lizards could be a big dampener if you find it creepy to share your room with them in the night. They would come in attracted by the lights anyway. we booked for 2 nights and in absence of the option of anything to do besides the itinerary mentioned above and the creepy feeling in the room, we checked out a day early. The price you pay is not in line with what you get there. Thats my personal feeling it could be worth a maximum of 10 K to 12K per night with all meals included for a couple with 2 children.

We booked 2 river view tents and as soon as we reached I realized that was the right decision. Nice upkeep, very friendly staff and Mr. Mohan Babu, the manager is running the place very well for Bird Lovers. There are many species of birds we can see in the property itself. They offer a choice of activities and one should definitely do birding. Coracle ride was fun. Food was decent and staff was very nice. Overall I would love to go back.

We booked a standard room for 1N here and went without any expectations. Surprisingly we were very happy with our choice. Managed very well by JLR. The staff here at very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very basic yet they have all the faculty you need while on a holiday. Location of the resort on the banks of the river Kali is amazing! Food provided in the resort is very good. All the 3 meals we had were delicious and served piping hot. River rafting organised by JLR is very safe and they do not organise rafting trips without a minimum number of 5 people. The property is very calm and surrounded by greenery. Design of the room interiors is not appealing. Understandable that this property is around 25yrs old. No complaints since we had a very good stay.

We stayed for two days at the resort. I must say one of the best Jungle resorts I have visited till date. They had our itinerary beautifuly and the places they took us was amazing. What made our trip was the second day outing they took us to few temples, falls and a view point and the wonderful route through forest. They had packed our lunch from the resort and felt like a picnic. Best thing is the hospitality and the knowledge of all the staffs in the resort. Lastly the food really amazing. I am sure to go back there many more times. Thank you for such wonderful stay

The location is fantastic. It is located on the banks of kali river. The food was very tasty. Staff is polite and courteous. Overall it was a great experience to stay. We will definitely revisit the property. The jungle safari was also good. Good variety of birds are located

The resort surpassed our expectations on all front. Affordable, well maintained, great food and extremely warm staff. The safari ride & boat ride being complimentary is just an icing on the cake. And if you want to have a drink or 2 in the evening, they have an in-house bar and everything is sold at mrp!

This is govt resort but more good than any private resort in dandeli. The food is exquisite. Also the staff is very welcoming and cooperative. Activities include boating, bird watching, nature walk and jungle safari. Meals like breakfast lunch dinner and evening snacks are included in the package. In evening they also show a documentary on river kali which is very interesting.
