Wir waren auf dem Weg nach Machu Picchu hier untergebracht und haben es sehr bedauert, dass wir nicht mehr Nächte dort verbringen konnten. Sehr gepflegte wunderschöne Zimmer mit architektonisch sehr ansprechenden Badezimmern in Doppelhäusern mit offenem Kamin in einem farbenprächtigen Garten. Untergebracht sind die Häuser auf dem weitläufigen Gelände eines Schulprojektes, das eine Niederländerin vor 30 Jahren ins Leben gerufen hat. Mit den Erlösen aus den Hotelbetrieb wird die Schule mitfinanziert. Gepflegtes Abendessen (Tagesmenü) im Haupthaus möglich, auch das reichhaltige Frühstück hat uns überzeugt. Als Übernachtungmöglichkeit im Heiligen Tal sehr empfehlenswert!

If you’re planning a trip to Machu Picchu, Las Casitas del Arco Iris is an outstanding stop-off point in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Surrounded by spectacular views of the Andes, the hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquility. We stayed in one of the fabulous bungalows, which had a rusticly quaint bathroom and its own terrace and fireplace. Accessed through the grounds of a school, the hotel has its own pretty gardens, a homely restaurant and even a ‘yoga dome’. The staff are wonderful and the meals are delicious and beautifully presented. The profits from the hotel support a children’s foundation which provides education and health services to families in the Sacred Valley. All in all, this is a very special place.

What a wonderful little paradise this place is. We had the most amazing stay with some delicious food and the staff was amazing all around with all their services including laundry so we didn’t need to go back home with a suitcase full of dirty clothes. The accommodations were wonderful with a fireplace to break the chill of the night air. The grounds were just magical. Waking up with the birds and embracing the mountains surrounding the property. And the Cupula/sound chamber was the perfect place for morning meditation/yoga and stretching. What a hidden gem this was. The cherry on top was the fact that we were supporting a school in the process of staying here and being able to visit the grounds after hours and see the wonderful facilities. Would definitely stay here again in a heart beat next time I am in Peru.

We stayed at this hotel which is part of the Fundation Ninos del Arco Iris, which helps provide children with education and healthcare. I think this is enough reason to go and stay there and support a good cause, but if it is not the hotel offers plenty more reasons. The rooms are nice and clean, the beds are great, the food is delicious and the service is super. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. Everything you need to rest up and enjoy.

I stayed 4 nights and I was extremely satisfied with the place , the environment, the food and the servers. Valeria was very helpful and available whenever I had a question or a request. It was nice to see the kids and their teachers playing music and dancing. Everyone was very polite and the place is beautiful and calm. I was able to do yoga at the “cúpula” and bring a papacho to perform “ ofrenda a la Pachamama” . Thank you so much and I will definitely come back

We stayed for one night only but we wished we could’ve had more days. The staff was super friendly and helpfull, special thanks to valeria of course !. The sevice was amazing and we felt truly welcomed by everyone. We’ll definitely come back to stay here again. This hotel is a must when visiting the Sacred Valley

A wonderful little B&B type inn and set of bungalows tucked away at the edge of urubamba next to a mountain. Arty and natural vibes. The garden and grounds are beautiful. The stone maze was perfect for a walking meditation. Most importantly attached to a school and orphanage that I believe is partially funded by guests. It’s a 10-15 minute taxi or tuk tuk ride from central Urubamba up a dirt road and could be walkable. All meals served and delicious, though breakfast was a bit light. We stayed in the main casa in a charming rustic room with a shared bath. We only heard other guests having breakfast one morning out of four before us. There is a very nice hike up the Pumahuanca valley nearby that includes a set of Incan ruins on the way to the entrance of a high alpine.valley.

The hotel-staff was very helpful at all times, providing us with the option of renting a van to undertake some excursions in the Sacred Valley. They room were amazing, spacious, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything one might need during their stay and more. Breakfast and dinner was lovely, full of locally grown fresh products. And as this wasn't enough; the setting surrounded by beautiful gardens made the picture complete. I would love to back as soon as I get the chance.

Fabulous hotel, rather secluded but fabulous rooms and staff, very good menu for the day beautiful grounds to wander around. This is a foundation and the grounds are beautiful, lively to see the school incorporated into the grounds … fabulous place to stay
