Um 9 Uhr ging ich zum Geschäft und niemand hat es empfangen. Das Hotel hat eigentlich vier Zimmer, die Türen haben ein Passwort-Verschluss, das mehr als ein Volk. Ich habe einen kleinen Assistenten von Trip.com gefunden und nachdem ich mich anrufe, sagte ich, dass die Rezeption um 8:30 Uhr abgeschlossen ist, aber nicht vorher angemeldet und keine Anzeige hinterlassen hat. Bis 9:30 Uhr wurde jemand angerufen, um die Passwörter zu öffnen. Die Lage ist gut, die Einrichtungen sind komplett. Das Zimmer ist groß. Der Service ist zu schlecht. Trip.com ist gut, die Peking-Zeit ist um 3 Sekunden in der Nacht, bis das Problem gelöst wird.

De Lage des Hotels war sehr gut. Schnell war die Innenstadt von Udine zu Fuß zu erreichen. Des Weiteren lag Udine für unsere Exkursionen in den Friaul zentral, ideal. Darüber hinaus war das Angebot des kostenlosen Parkplatzes ausgezeichnet. Der Service in Ihrem Hotel war hervorragend, das Zimmer gut und wurde stets sehr gut gereinigt. Ihr Hygienekonzept in der Pandemiezeit machte unseren Aufenthalt sicher. Zudem stimmte Ihr Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei der Übernachtung und Frühstück.

Accoglienza un po' freddina della receptionist, oltretutto nonostante l'esplicita prenotazione su Booking del posto auto a pagamento questo non era stato riservato ma è stato meglio così perché vicino alla struttura vi sono parcheggi liberi dove non abbiamo mai avuto problemi per posteggiare l'auto. Abbiamo soggiornato nella dependance: camera datata ma pulita anche se rumorosa per via del traffico sottostante, non si può dire la stessa cosa dell'ingresso dove stagna un'odore persistente di muffa credo, e dove vi sono tendaggi che hanno visto tempi e lavaggi migliori. Buona colazione la mattina corredata da un bel buongiorno da parte dell'addetta, il che non guasta mai. In 10 minuti si arriva in centro a piedi e nelle vicinanze c'è anche la stazione ferroviaria.

Wir verbrachten 2 Nächte in diesem Hotel im Neubau. Vor Anreise bekamen wir eine WhatsApp Mitteilung, dass die Rezeption nur von 14 bis 18 Uhr geöffnet ist und den Code zur Öffnung des Parkplatzes. Die Einfahrt zum Parkplatz und auch der Parkplatz sind sehr eng. Das Zimmer hatten wir im Neubau mit Blick auf den Garten mit Pool. Im Badezimmer befindet sich ein Stahlwaschbecken, wie in einer Kaserne, das nur leicht abgeflacht ist, wo das Wasser immer wieder raus spritzt. Eine absolute Katastrophe war das Frühstück. Der Raum war so derartig klein, dass er schnell überfüllt war, obwohl die Tische sehr eng gestellt waren. In diesem Raum war es so derartig kalt, dass die Gäste mit der Daunenjacke beim Frühstück saßen. Als ein Gast dem Herren, der servierte sagte, dass es sehr kalt sei, hat er nicht einmal darauf reagiert. Dieser Herr war generell nicht geeignet für seinen Job, da er überfordert und gereizt war. Das gesamte Personal spricht fast ausschließlich italienisch. Deutsch und Englisch wird kaum beherrscht. Am Buffet gab es einen herkömmlichen Kaffeevollautomaten, der natürlich komplett überfordert war, da ständig entweder Wasser oder Milch aus waren oder der Satzbehälter war voll. Es gab nicht einmal für den Tee einen Heißwasserbehälter, auch dieses musste man mit der Kaffeemaschine zubereiten. Beim Kaffee bekam man auch jedes mal etwas anderes, da die Maschine offensichtlich total verwirrt war. Am zweiten Tag ging sie dann für längere Zeit mal gar nicht mehr. Die Auswahl an Speisen war beim Frühstück auch sehr eingeschränkt. Die letzten Jahre verbrachten wir immer im Hotel Best Western Continental Udine und hier werden wir auch das nächste mal wieder hin fahren, da dies wesentlich besser und auch günstiger ist. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist dort auch um ein Vielfaches größer und der Frühstücksraum wird auch beheizt. Hotel Clocchiatti ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen!!

The first contact with Mrs. Maria Svarc, head of the booking office of the Hotel Principe in Udine took place by mail on 12.01.2022, when I asked for a reservation of nine rooms for 21.04.2022. The affirmative reply arrived immediately. After the booking, the details of my credit card were sent to Ms Svarc. One week before the start of the trip, Ms Svarc informed me that my credit card was not valid and that I have either to give another credit card or transfer the money, because otherwise she will have to cancel our booking. Immediately a friend stepped in and his card details were sent. Ms Svarc refused this card as well and insisted on a bank transfer. The transfer was made on Good Friday but was obviously delayed by the bank internally due to the Easter holidays. On the 20th of April, while cycling in the middle of the Canal Valley, I received a call from Ms Svarc, that the money had not arrived and that she will therefore cancel the booking, as there are always crooks working with tricks. This prejudice shocked us very much! All of us in the group are serious people with university or business backgrounds, and none of us needs to take advantage on anything. Apart from that, all our credit cards worked the whole week in all other hotels without any problems. In the afternoon, we sent to Ms Svarc the details of a third credit card, which she again did not accept. I asked the hotel owner in Gemona to call her and confirm that the cycling group existed, that there were no problems with the payment and that we wanted to claim the rooms at the Hotel Principe the next day. Still on 21.04. in the morning a friend from Udine had to make a telephone call to Mrs. Svarc to confirm our seriousness. It may be that such a strict way of dealing with customers is desired by the hotel management, but this way of dealing with us by Ms Svarc is utterly unacceptable for us. We recommend a retraining for Ms Maria Svarc, otherwise we will never book in this hotel again. Wolfgang Scholz, the organiser
