Long Bay Beach Resort

Our stay at Long Bay Beach Resort was great! Our room was beautiful with an amazing view of the ocean and we could hear the sound of the waves which was so relaxing! The staff is super friendly and always willing to help. Specially, Gia and Akil! We spent one afternoon in Smuggler’s Cove and the hotel gave us a ride to/from the beach. The hotel staff also coordinated the taxis to/from the ferries. Great property. Very quiet and relaxing.

I will say that living in the USVI we came over for a getaway and the place was fantastic and the staff was even better!!

Long Bay Beach Resort, is one of the most luxurious experiences I’ve ever had. The AC and ceiling fan worked so well that we were able to keep our room doors open for hours without the room getting warm so that we could hear the waves crashing. Our room was EXACTLY 22 steps from the clear blue waters ( I counted). The room decor is GOALS and the property was so meticulously decorated that you could tell that the aesthetic was extremely important to crafting your experience at Long bay. Quite often my wife would look to me and say, “this is unreal. Is this place actually real?” SUCCESS. The food and menus were definitely something that the hotel put a lot of pride into and it shows. The bar looks out over the water and the drink menu is quite refined. Also the hotel offers a dedicated crew of drivers that drive you to and from during your trip without the hassle of dealing with taxis. In conclusion, if you want to be a short drive from island hopping ferries and also you value that breathtaking beachfront experience then I don’t think you find anything better than Long Bay Beach Resort in all of the BVI’s Thank you Long Bay! Side note: The manager of the property, Akil, is a legend and ensured that our experience was perfect. Having someone that personally cares so deeply about your vacation experience, makes it just that much sweeter.

My husband and I decided to stay at Long Bay after a long sailing trip. Akil, at the front desk, welcomed us warmly and brought us rum punch. He also took care of our luggage since we arrived before check in time. We were able to change and go straight to one of the lovely beach cabanas. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and then Akil took us to our suite. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, and Long Bay Beach Resort is going on my “Top 10” list. I had read the poor review leading up to our stay and honestly thought about staying somewhere else. I’m so very glad we kept our reservation. Our second floor suite was incredible! It was a “million dollar” view from our bathroom and lanai. The shower was dreamy. I’m in love with the privacy shield on the huge picture window in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. My husband was so happy with the a/c and ceiling fan. The French press and tea kettle were a nice touch. The big baskets were brilliant for extra items. There was a lot of storage space. We thought the milk in the refrigerator was also a nice addition. There was a wedding with a live band on our first night. I was afraid that it would be too loud, but it never was. I can only imagine how gorgeous those pictures are. The restaurant staff was very attentive and the food was always delicious. We ate all our meals at the main restaurant. I can’t say enough about all of the staff. They truly made our stay magical. Splurge on a suite. It will be worth it.

Absolute time of our lives staying at Long Bay Beach Resort. The food, the staff, the beach and the drinks were all 5-stars. We would definitely stay again!

Right now this property is under construction. If you’re looking for a relaxing and peaceful time, this is not your spot. Not until they finish construction. Make sure to know where your room is located before getting there. The ones farther to the construction should be fine. The beach is not for swimming since is very rough and you cannot get in because it has a lot of reefs. However, there’s Summgler’s Cove about a 6min drive. Also, do not book through ********** since our reservation didn’t went through and they were not aware of the reservation when we arrived. I believe they gave us a last minute room next to they construction site due of this miscommunication. Overall the place is nice looking but needs key improvements. Doesn’t have much privacy and lighting is not sexy. Beautiful place to enjoy sunsets.
