My wife and I recently spent three nights at the TownPlace Suites hotel in Markham, Ontario. We booked the room with our Bonvoy points, so I can’t comment on price. Markham is a suburb about 15 miles north of Toronto. We picked this location since it was near relatives we were visiting. It’s located on a fairly busy highway with various commercial businesses nearby. There is a Chinese restaurant (QJD Peking Duck), which we did not visit, on the first floor. The thirteen-story building actually holds two Marriott properties: Courtyard by Marriott on floors 2 - 8 and TownPlace on floors 9 - 14. The registration desk serves both hotels. The lobby has several areas for socializing. There also is a Bistro/Bar area. Conference rooms, a business center and a spa are off to the side. A fitness center and indoor pool are on the lower level. Wifi is free. Surprisingly, parking is not. Signs say that it costs $6 Canadian per day to park in the attached multi-level garage, but we apparently were not charged. Check-in was courteous and efficient. You need your keycard to access the elevator. TIP: There is no 13th floor; the elevator buttons go from 12 to 14! We were assigned room 915. TIP: the room was almost across the hall from the ice machine and one wall of the room directly abutted the elevator bank. While the noise was neglible, you might want to keep this in mind if you’re a very light sleeper. The room was clean and decorated in what I would call ikea style. It was like living in a studio apartment. A flat screen TV was on a two-drawer chest/dresser. A wall-mounted desk had overhead shelving, a vertical cupboard, desk chair and rollout table. The kitchen section had a sink, two-burner electric range top, coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher (!) and fairly large refrigerator. There were multiple cabinets and drawers filled with practically every kitchen item you’d need: pots, pans, dishes, flatware, soap, etc. And if they’re still something you might need, chances are you can get it from the front desk. (See pic.) A full-size closet contained an iron/ironing board. No sign of a safe. The sitting area contained a loveseat, ottoman and floor lamp. The king-size bed had five pillows. The bed was a little soft, but comfortable. It was flanked by nightstands and wall-mounted lamps with electric outlets. 
The bathroom was average-sized. The vanity had lots of counter space and several drawers. And a hair dryer. The shower was quite large, taking up about a third of the room. There was wall-mounted hand soap and hair/body wash (in the shower) by ALICE & Co+ botanicals. Shower pressure and temperature were fine. TIP: Don’t be alarmed when you flush the toilet - the sound is comparable to that generated by an airplane commode. Breakfast was included with the room and was served on the 14th floor. Alles war gut, außer dass die Warteschlange zu lang war, die Check-in-Warteschlange war super langsam, jeder musste zehn Minuten lang einchecken, ich weiß nicht, warum ich der Schnellste war, aber es wurde in weniger als einer Minute gelöst Minute.

Ich blieb fünf Nächte in diesem Grundstück und war sehr beeindruckt von Qualität und Service. Der Grundstück war gemütlich und spotlos, mit einem eigenem Bad und einem komfortablen Bett. Die Lage war ideal, nur wenige Schritte von der TTC und der Bloor Straße, wo es viele Geschäfte und Restaurants gibt. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, immer bereit, mir mit allem, was ich brauchte zu helfen. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt wirklich genossen und ich würde diesen Ort sehr empfehlen, jemanden, der eine bequeme und erschwingliche Unterkunft in Toronto sucht.

Ich habe im März 2023 mit Samesun in Toronto verblieben. Sie haben eine 24-Stunden- offene Rezeption. Die Eincheckung ging reibungslos, die Zimmer, Badezimmer und Dusche waren sauber! Sie haben einen Ladegerät und eine kleine Lampe an Ihrem Bett und Gräben, um sich von den anderen zu trennen. Das beste über den Aufenthalt war das kostenlose Frühstück am Morgen! Kaffee, Bagels, Waffeln, Getreide, Obst usw. so schön.

Got to the hotel a little after 9 am as my flight got in earlier than expected. It was raining and cold. Was wondering if they'd have a room that early to give me and yes they did😁😃😄I was checked in immediately and given a room on the 29th floor. Lovely room with a view of CN TOWER. Nothing was lacking. Room was fully equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. All the staff I encountered during my 4 night's stay was very pleasant and helpful. I am looking forward to my next trip to Toronto in August and I will be rebook this hotel for sure. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks to everyone there who made my stay there a memorable one.

Das Hotel ist sehr groß, mit einem ** im ersten Stock, einem Theater und einer Pferderennbahn, was großartig ist! Das Zimmer ist groß, die Einrichtungen sind neu, sauber und hygienisch, die Transportmöglichkeiten sind bequem, es gibt eine kostenlose Tiefgarage und der Preis ist hoch!

Ich hatte ein Konzert auf der Budweiser-Stage am 24. September und alle Hotels in und um Toronto waren lächerliche Preise. Wir kamen etwa eine halbe Stunde vor dem Einchecken und der Front-Desk-Agent konnte uns ein Zimmer, das gerade gereinigt wurde, bekommen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit zwei Queen-Betten und sobald wir die Tür öffneten, war alles, was wir stinken konnte, CLEAN! Das Fenster ist klein, aber ich bin nicht da, um das Fenster zu sehen. Wir waren etwa halbwegs unten im Gebäude, so dass der Lärm vom Expressway nicht ein Problem war. Es gab eine Bar-Kühlschrank und eine Mikrowelle, die in handlichem Zustand kam (die Bar-Kühlschrank für uns). Das Badezimmer wurde aktualisiert und sehr sauber. Die Betten und Kissen waren komfortabel und wir schliefen gut. Ich ging in die Lobby, um etwas Wasser vom Spender zu holen, das abgeschaltet wurde, da es normalerweise nur auf bis 11AM für die Saftoptionen ist. Der Front-Desk-Agent setzte es auf, so dass ich etwas Wasser bekommen konnte. PROS: Sehr guter Preis, komfortable Betten/Küchen, große Lage, freundliches Personal. Tim Hortons nächste Tür! CONS: nur eine Eismaschine im ersten Stock durch Lobby sah. Kein Duschestuhl für behinderte Menschen in der Dusche zu verwenden. Sie fragen um eine $200 Halte auf Ihrem CC bei der Kontrolle, in der ich denke ist übermäßig. Insgesamt ist dies eine große, erschwingliche Option für eine Reise nach Toronto. Recht von der Expresswa & sehr nahe zum Einkaufen. Eine keine Frills Platz zu bleiben, die die Bank nicht brechen wird!

Wir blieben im September beim DoubleTree vor dem Fliegen nach Griechenland und waren wirklich beeindruckt! Alles war sehr sauber und die Dekoration war modern und aktualisiert. Robert, unser Server bei der Taza Grill, war froh, mit zu reden, und das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Joseph und das Front Desk Personal waren sehr freundlich und professionell und der Flughafenschiffführer Qurshi hatte ein wunderbares Humorgefühl und half, unsere Erfahrung zu einem wirklich angenehmen zu machen. Wir werden sicher zurück sein!
