First, they got the concept right - a home-of-sorts converted into a boutique hotel. They lucked out on the location- on the banks of the Ganges. Then they defined their proposition ever so perfectly- QUIET LUXURY. Around this they wrapped their whole experience. The rooms- spacious, understated and comfortable. They got their local food expertise just right- learnt from the local cooks, did their own tweaks, added a dash of oomph and there it is- a sensory experience that satisfies the soul. They do the evening aarti [ pooja] in an simple, unassuming ***ner but utterly satisfying ***ner. Its however the service where they hit it out of the park - dignified, anticipating and occasionally delightful.
