Stayed here for business for a couple of nights as part of a large group. It was not a great hotel and a lot of our group were unhappy with this property. It's a medium rise on the waterfront - the waterfront here is a working container port and what seems to be anItalian Navy port. Not what you generally think of when you say waterfront. The hotel checking was fine and the staff were nice. However...... Major renovations going on / one elevator working out of 2 and sometimes that one was an issue / really lacklustre breakfast options / swimming pool unusable. I can see why they're renovating - everything about this hotel seems old and dated - but you're not in a resort / holiday area. The room was an ok size, the wi-fi worked, but a bit slow. The room could be made nice and dark (good curtains) and the view of the bay was still a nice water view. There's many other old looking hotels all around this area and I don't thin this is the only one in this state of repair. There is a great Pizza place right across the road. The Old Town of Taranto is a 20min walk away and it's well worth is with great photo ops and plenty of bars / restaurants that seems to all be reasonably priced. Maybe this hotel will be OK when they finish renovations, but it's not in a very touristy area.

Ich bin fast Tarantino, ich war hier mindestens zweimal im Jahr von 1998 bis heute. Ich weiß, dass die Standards im Vergleich zu den 90er Jahren gesunken sind, aber hier übertrieben. Zimmer sind ästhetisch schlecht, alt und unkomfortable. Man fühlt sich nicht wenig geschockt, wenn man in eine davon eintritt, unter anderem definieren die ”superor” Zimmer mit einem (leeren) Kühlschrank und mit ”einzigen” Ehematratzen. Sonst haben Sie auch nicht das. Das Frühstück ist traurig und aus dem Krankenhaus, vor allem weil es aus Rabatt-Zimmbellen und einem Kaffee NUMMER gemacht ist. Versuchen Sie nicht, eine weitere zu fragen, wird es Ihnen verweigert, denken Sie nicht, dass Sie in einem Hotel sind? Es ist ein Haus. Minimaler Flexibilität über alles, die Schlüssel müssen immer in der Rezeption hinterlassen, nicht aufsteigen, wenn jemand kommt, muss das Dokument verlassen und kann nicht zu viel im Zimmer bleiben (dies schon vor Covid). Es tut mir leid für das Personal, das seine Pflicht tut und manchmal auch freundlich ist, aber auch sie scheinen sich schlecht bewältigt zu haben und sich wie Roboter bewegen, mit der Angst, falsch zu handeln und jede kleine Entscheidung zu berücksichtigen. Die Schuld, die ich für einen anderen Beschäftigten bezahle, verschwand in wenigen Monaten, aber bezahlen sie sie zumindest? Oder wollen sie sich nur diejenigen, die sich an die ”Caserma” halten, ohne zu wächst und die Struktur zu wächst? Es tut mir leid, das zu sagen, aber wäre es besser, wenn es von einer Kette erkannt wird, als so weiter zu laufen ...

Don’t get me wrong the rooms are nice but the place has bars in front of its windows. We also were asked not to open the windows due to the airconditioning. In our room the mini fridge was happily buzzing but didn’t cool anything. The shower was amazing and the bed was good. Also If you can’t find the TV check the mirror 😜 On top of the hotel is the pool with bar and a restaurant. We were there 2 days and both days there was a party of none guests with a dj. We were “allowed” to sit there as paying guests how nice of them right. Last day we left early so we got breakfast at 7:35 as it only starts at 7 am and they managed to have cold sunny side up eggs, cold bacon and cold sausages which is surprising as it was the only thing that needed to be warm in the otherwise splendid selection of foods ( yes the pancakes are cold too) with loads of fruit great honey and cakes. All this stuff isn’t more of a missed opportunity then anything else for an otherwise great hotel. Just don’t get run over trying to leave with your car at the front gate :-)

Hotel piccolo e molto grazioso. Rifinito nei particolari e decisamente accogliente. Suddiviso in due strutture agli estremi della piccola piazza che segna l'ingresso a Taranto vecchia. Camere piccole ma impeccabili, aria condizionata, letti comodi e bagno funzionale. La colazione è servita in terrazza con vista meravigliosa sul mare. Dall'albergo si raggiungono in circa 15 minuti il centro storico di Taranto e le vie dello shopping. Possibile parcheggiare nel lato della piazza sottostante le strutture e in uno spiazzo adiacente.

Gute Stelle: Sie ist sicherlich einen Besuch wert. Das Hotel liegt praktisch am Strand (in der Tat nicht sehr schön und nicht ausgestattet): Zwischen dem Hotel und dem Strand gibt es jedoch einen sehr schönen und sauberen Pool, der sicherlich nicht den Mangel an einem ausgestatteten Strand verletzt, Wie gesagt. Das Hotel hat auch einen Animationsservice, Es gibt auch Tische zum Essen an Bord des Pools, gepflastert von dem Meeresgeräusch für ein romantisches Essen. Die Küche ist scharf, aber gut gekocht. Das heißt, eine gut organisierte, geordnete und gut organisierte Struktur: das Personal ist diskret und professionell. In allen Aspekten herrscht die Souveränität der Reinigung, angenehmen Aussicht, die Zimmer sind komfortabel und die Mehrheit mit einem angenehmen Ausblick auf das Meer und den Pool (die zwischen dem Hotel und dem Strand insistiert). Ich meine: Eine glückliche Oase, aber die Umgebung ist zu vergessen, und es ist eine Sünde, wir sind an Taranto angegriffen und ein Minimum an Organisation der Stadtmöbel, wenn es so wünscht. Abschließend 5 Sterne in der Struktur und 1 Sterne in der Gegend, wo das Hotel aufsteigt: Es gibt nichts und man kann nichts wirklich tun. Ein Ghetto,
