My 1st time stay at this wonderful chalet. Everything was perfect for me. Beautiful place, nice and friendly staffs, i also meet Mr. Bala the owner. Such a humble person. I love all the landscaping and the gardens. Like I’m living in the real smokehouse era. The view from top side was amazing. No fan and aircond but still cold inside the room. Definitely will come again and again 🥰

Stayed with family, it was a nice experience. Food is just awesome.

The Bala's Holiday Chalet is old classic chalet. There no any advance features like android TV or smart TV or small refrigerator. The switch socket wall are so limited. Just got 2 switch socket wall inside the room. All switch lights are old type one. Then shower water pressure too low and no mirror in washroom. the experience stay that we stay get like we stay in old house room. I know they want maintenance some old things for long time but some important needed should change to current situation. Like switch socket, switch lights, TV and shower. I have compare the bala chalet with other 2 or 3 star hotels in near Cameron Highlands. I felt the bala chalet are not worth for the money compared with other hotels. I think other hotels, chalet or Homestay are better than the bala chalet. Yeah, most of people will think I give bad reviews but this is the reality experience.

Environment Clean and beautiful. American garden style. Breakfast a bit expensive

The place is beautiful. Ample parking at slanted angle. Worrying for newbie driver. Room clean. No fan or air-conditioning feels a bit stuffy.

A nice place to come, chill, have a drink or a meal. Take some nice photos. But don't stay here. We made that mistake by seeing the nice garden etc. The rooms are totally runned down. TV is from the year 2000, only showing 2 channels - cartoon and sports. Hot water doesn't work, hot shower is must in Cameron. To make things 4 worse, some plugs in the room doesn't work. So it's harder for you to charge your phones. Our 1st and last time here for sure

Had a great stay at Bala's. Staff were friendly and nice and the hotel compounds was nice and quaint. If you're looking for a nice homey getaway with a personal touch, this is a great place for you.

Came here mainly for the british interior vibes. The room is huge but its quite rundown. Breakfast was ok, just order an alacarte style.

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean roomy with good service. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. Tq

Overall, I had a wonderful time and would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a cozy and convenient stay

Can you imaging stay in a room with no Aircon and No fan provided and outside is full of mosquito waiting your sweetie blood? Please Just imaging 1st this Condition if you insist to book this hotel. Staff Service also does not match the price and unfriendly, we request to change the room due to not match what we book (please note, Suite have 3 type of room) but the manager willing to help after we show temper..haha.. No need to request Birthday or anniversary decoration for your love one, all can not be done (But we saw others picture with room decorationb at main door too, its racisms? I no idea). Of course if you change mind or anything happen in last min need to cancel the room even its before a day you check in also can not be done (Maybe not full house they need more money..hahah). Wifi can't be use (we not check wifi during check in), We have no way to ask due to all close, including front counter and its not provide phone inside the room for you to contact room service too. Room was dusty, TV was not available (I think TV is just a decoration). Furniture are falling apart, Beddings were dusty/dirty, came with brown stains, Bathrooms are no different, mediocre with stained tiles and weak water pressure. No bidet , water heater doesn't function very well, providing hot and cold water alternatively every minute. What I can say its very bed experience, Note, if you still need to book this just because of photo you see from website, please think twice, you may stay other place and come here take picture. Finally : Do not trust others people said staff friendly or bla bla bla...just think this way, if the boss or staff just simply talk to you and you have nothing need to request of cause you will feel nothing and just given good review. ohh not forget the breakfast is much over the price (but if you book a room including breakfast than its ok)

Place is cozy and very clean. But parking is a little bit crowded, since the chalet is on a hill. Overall everything is ok and very recommended.

Clean and good services , if window can have some protection when open will more convenience and safety .The place very nice and relax will come again next time. ❤️
